I need to rewatch it. I was pretty lost the whole episode again. There is definite multiple timelines going on again.

I don't think there's multiple timelines.
There's a simulation happening somewhere I think inside Rehoboam or whatever Serac's machine is called.

I know this is setting up for a Maeve-Delores showdown, but something tells me this ends up with Teddy stopping her in the end. I realize we’re a far way off fromTeddy somehow getting back into this, but that’s my thought.

I was thinking so too, but I think Teddy is gone.
Ford built Bernard.
Maybe Benrard builds a recreation of Ford.

Not a fan of this episode.
Some parts were cool (like the Serac stuff and Marshawn Lynch being back) but a lot of it was just dumb.
The drug was pointless.
The reactions to the Incite info dump were all uniform.
The action was bland again.
I don't know.
With only 3 episodes left, I'm worried again about this.

I think we have five episodes left.
I enjoyed the episode. Actually thought there was a lot to ponder about.
I do agree that the genre drug was completely unnecessary. I thought it was just a way for them to be artsy for no real reason. Maybe there’s a payoff we don’t know about yet.

Confused as hell about the episode, especially all the William stuff, but I liked it.

Man I loved this episode. Just building to a potential big finish here. Slow burn build here. I was dying for the next episode.

Renewed for season 4, with a likelihood it goes 6 seasons.

Renewed for season 4, with a likelihood it goes 6 seasons. Hmm...not sure I like that. What’s interesting to me is you could have ended with just season 1 or finish right after season 2 and both could have been appropriate send offs. Not sure what could be left after this

That's where I struggle. Where does the show go next?
Maybe hosts really take over?

Awesome episode.
Caleb is a man on a mission.
How bold if this will be the end of Dolores and Maeve.

Also interesting that Caleb and William have the same patient ID from the facility.

Could that mean Caleb is William?
Next week's finale is gonna be nuts.

And now we see why the drug was important. This show leaves me speechless so many times. I basically just said wow out loud.
Remember my comment about the slow build? They totally took a page out of a great wrestling feud. Jonathan Nolan - “They barely had any scenes with each other. We very carefully kept them apart, knowing they were going to collide with one another so that when we got them together, dorks would fly.”
This episode’s storytelling was mind blowing. I don’t know how they do it but it comes to all making sense. More impressive we start to question yet again who is on the side of good and side of bad. During this episode I found myself rooting for Delores and feeing Maeve has been misguided in her fight (until maybe the last 30 second based on what Bernard said). This episode was an absolute home run and maybe my favorite of the season.
Episode 8 of this season is not the season finale. The first two seasons had ten episodes each.

I am completely lost. I don't understand why Maeve wants to stop Dolores. And why did Maeve have to rescue Hector just to have him "crushed". And is Charlotte really Dolores? I want to like what they are doing but it is just very convoluted to me.

Maeve is working for Serac and is convinced that Dolores will use the hosts locked away in "heaven" from last season to wage her war. She wants to protect her daughter. Maeve loves Hector and Halores destroyed him last episode. Hale is a copy of Dolores, as was Connells and Sato.

To add to that I think Maeve feels she “is choosing” to love her like a daughter regardless of what’s true which fuels a bit of her idea that she does have free will.

Liked the episode and season, but some of it felt a but cheap. The stuff with Halores and Dolores, and the sudden face turn from Dolores.
The ending was great, the post credits stuff was awesome, and sets up an interesting season 4.

I didn’t care for the Halores side story either but I don’t think the face turn was sudden at all. There were hints all season that maybe we wouldn’t know what side was good or not. Dolores also seemed surprised at times by Caleb and her own feelings or misjudgments for lack of a better way. I stated Maeve May realize she was on the wrong side. I think it came together nicely. I didn’t have high hopes for season three to be honest. I was worried I was going to miss the park. I didn’t. The acting was superb and the storytelling is shit I can’t even wrap my head around how they came up with.
I may have had tears in my eyes with the Dolores-Maeve-Serac-Caleb showdown...
Another season where they could have just ended the series and I would have been satisfied. Not sure how they can do a compelling season 4 but I can’t doubt them anymore.
