Episode VII came out in 2015.
A new "main story" movie comes out every 2 years.
In the off years, there are one-off Star Wars movies.

I've been watching all of the first six Star Wars on Turner since I don't have much of a life right now by design. I know they're teasing Luke turning in the next film. It sounds crazy, but there's nothing in Return of the Jedi that tells me it isn't absolutely possible.

I'm watching the Jimmy Kimmel Star Wars show from last night. Awesome, there's a guy in the crowd with a "Your Snoke Theory Sucks" shirt. On a downside, everyone involved already seems exhausted talking about the movie. I'm not sure I blame them.

The movie was decidedly average. I have tended to like the Star Wars movies with each successive viewing. But this one only had a few scenes that were noteworthy. Long stretches of meh.
