There will be another Over Budget Battle Royal at Double or Nothing. 3 people were announced for it on Cody's latest YouTube video.
Sonny Kiss Kip Sabien Brandon Cutler
All 3 have pretty unique stories, so that's cool. (Sonny representing the LGBTQ community, Kip being a relative unknown to many in the US, Cutler coming up with The Bucks but retiring 7 years to start a family) Also Cody said something will be at stake for the winner but didn't tell us yet.
Episode ended with Cody watching/stewing over Jericho's video he made taking all the credit for the sellout and how the Bucks and Cody should thank him.

New female talent to be hired tomorrow. Coincidentally (or not?), Brandi started following Summer Rae on the Twitter.

New female talent to be hired tomorrow. Coincidentally (or not?), Brandi started following Summer Rae on the Twitter. Eh, Summer was a valet who rarely wrestled. Also she's done zero wrestling since she left WWE. Although her Instagram is a damn delight. Hope it's someone else to be honest. There's plenty of female wrestlers out there.

Bea Priestly is the newest female signee. UK wrestler and Will Ospreay's girlfriend.
They mentioned how she's kicked Brandi in the face super hard before.
Also they teased at the end how Brandi doesn't want Cody to wrestle at Double or Nothing and how she wants him to get his knee completely healthy first and not have a match with (BEEP).
Still think it's with Marty

I agree, WR. Not really a fan. At this point, Ross on commentary sounds like Harry Caray in his final years. Sure he's a legend, but he's not actually good anymore.

More JR news:
On March 7, 2019, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross applied for a new trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Under Ross's business entity, J.R.'s Blackhat Enterprises, LLC, which also owns the intellectual property behind Ross's barbecue products, book, and stage shows, the professional wrestling veteran has applied to trademark 'The Voice Of Wrestling'.
According to Ross's application, the trademark is to be used for live and personal appearances, and podcasts, including video podcasts.
This news comes hot off the heels of Ross's announcement that he will be parting ways with WWE at the end of March 2019. Moreover, in recent weeks, Ross has stated that he will likely begin a new podcasting project with pro wrestling superfan and entrepreneur Conrad Thompson, which will replace the current incarnation of Westwood One's Jim Ross Report.
"It's moving along well," Ross said of the new venture on The Jim Ross Report recently. "It looks as if, unless something happens in the 11th hour, it's going to be a go. If it goes like Conrad and I have strategized and gameplanned it, it will replace this format and I'll keep you posted on that. It'll replace this format and make it better, so I'm looking forward to that. Conrad has done a great job with Eric Bischoff and Tony Schiavone [on their respective podcasts]."

This podcast will be interesting considering that J.R. and Conrad sound almost exactly alike.

I'm sure people will find a way to complain about the JR/Conrad podcast. But it has a ton of potential. JR has been able to tell his version of things without timelines. If they do the Prichard style format with Conrad challenging him, it will be something we haven't heard before.

I think cranky JR is perfect behind the scenes and calling big matches for AEW. The Chinese acrobat kids are progression. Slowing the stars down a touch will be beneficial. JR isn't going to attempt to turn the business back like Watts in 92.

Now MJF is picking on Colby Jack? Fuck that guy!! (He's awesome at being a heel, prick) I has to be Cody vs MJF, right? The building is sold out and people are going to order it on Fite whether Cody has a match or not. Cody announces the knee won't allow him to be in a match. What if MJF does an open challenge? Cody's music hits. He walks out like there's nobody to challenge MJF. Then says "do you really think I don't watch the show?" and starts beating the piss out of MJF. The crowd would go BANANA and MJF was just put in a match with Cody.

The amount of amiable coordination that exists in the wrestling world right now is crazy. This is not Verne, Fritz, and Jerry getting together.

Allie is the latest woman to sign with AEW.
She's a good wrestler and when I used to watch TNA, I liked her.

I don't think we get lazy New Japan commentary from JR on this deal. Just hope he's up to it.

Turner Sports (TBS/TNT) will present AEW at their upfronts to advertisers next month May 15th. Upfronts are how networks announce their lineups for the fall season.
It's happening.

Take my money, AEW! They will finally fill the void that has been in my wrestling life since March 26, 2001.
