Lance is the right call. Battle Royale had it's moments. Was expecting a touch more to be honest. Sydal does nothing for me.

I haven't seen Sydal since probably 2017 in PWG. First move he tries, he almost kills himself slipping on the top.
Happy Archer won. From a winning record standpoint, it's the most logical. He's lost once in AEW. Plus, he and Mox have history in Japan.
Jake waiving that "snake bag" around the whole match was just dumb. He should be the mouthpiece only. I don't need Jake ringside for shit.

I missed the Bucks/JE match, but the Battle Royal and this Broken Rules match have both sucked. Like, badly.
I also like how Grandpa Jim immediately said "Lance Hoyt wins it". Learn the roster JR, for fuck sake.
Hopefully the rest of the show picks up, because this is seriously lagging.
