jackref and Speeps get my point. Thank you. This is absolutely working for their 800,000 fans. No question. I WANT them to grow and get better. I WANT them to sell me. I WANT them to have real drawing power to drive a larger audience.
As for JR, he helped bring me here but he is terrible. Drop his ass and you won’t be losing any viewers. Brutal, bitter and it’s onbvious he’s not happy with the product... so much so that he kind of shits on it. Or are we getting heel JR soon? But that doesn’t explain his inability to keep up with the product.

I will be responding to all this blasphemy once I get a couple Icehouse's in me! And GO BUCKS!!!
Additionally, does jackref approve of a 2 Night Spectacular with the Allman Brothers?

But that doesn’t explain his inability to keep up with the product. Most of this I agree with but not all. He has a ton of defenders on the Twittah. I think casuals still love him. (for some reason. I guess it's just name value & familiarity) But when there's something he gets criticized for, his defenders come in waves. So I do think there's a possibility of losing some viewers. All that said, he sure does seem to be rubbing a lot of us the wrong way. Score Jr can't stand him, many of you guys feel the same way, I feel that way more times than not. However when he's not being bitter, stubborn, old school, creepy, or not knowing current storylines or names of wrestlers, or selling their gimmick........ he does crack me up from time to time but even then it's usually for the wrong reasons. I think Tony on lead with Excalibur & Taz would be pretty great. Plus you always have Jericho. Some people even want to hear more of Leva. And at some point you gotta think Renee will be available.

When I talk to KS Jr, I'm no longer allowed to use jackref's name. I have to call him "Blank"
I'm serious. He said he'd block me otherwise.

I WANT them to grow and get better. I WANT them to sell me. I WANT them to have real drawing power to drive a larger audience. I unequivocally believe this is exactly what they've done over the past year. Don't forget, their first Dynamite was Oct 2nd of last year. They've basically had 5 normal months and 5 months of a global pandemic. And yet the building blocks are impressive. I often see on Twitter, (maybe you guys say it too?) but I hear that AEW is nothing but ex-WWE guys. Especially their champions. The evidence does not support that sentiment in the least. As far as champions go, I believe it's something like 7 non-WWE people versus 6 ex-WWE peeps. (Not Terry's. He sucks! ) Non-WWEScorpio Sky - He played like a fireman once in WWE or something but he's most certainly not thought of as a WWE guy. He was part of AEW's first tag team champs. I believe he's also the only one to ever challenge for and/or win the tag titles, TNT Title & World Title. Frankie Kazarian - He spent 6 months in the WWE back in the day and wrestled a few matches on Velocity. Definitely not a WWE guy. Also part of the first ever AEW tag champs. Kenny Omega - Spent like 10 months in Deep South Wrestling which was apparently WWE's developmental back then. Nobody knows that other than Wikipedia. So for sure not a WWE guy in the least. Went on to defeat SCU with Hangman and become the best tag team in the world for a little over half a year. Was in not so arguably, 3 of the top 4 matches of the year in the span of 5 weeks. Was the 2018 Wrestler of the Year if I'm not mistaken. Some people talk all crazy saying he's been underutilized in AEW when in reality, as I just said, was part of the best tag team in the world for like 7 months and also had several match of the year candidates. And while they let the rest of the roster build into multiple stars, now it seems as though the Cleaner is on his way. to be continued...

Has never ever been in the shitty WWE. Was not so arguably the most over wrestler on the roster when fans were still a thing. 1/2 of the best tag team in the world for 7 months. Was involved in the first ever World Championship match vs Jericho if I'm not mistaken. Been part of 2 or 3 matches of the year to date. What's not to like about this guy? Seems primed for a massive 15 year run from this point on. Riho - She never had a damn thing to do with WWE. First ever AEW Women's Champ. A protege. Only 23. Thought she had a very nice run. Stuck in Japan currently due to Covid. I imagine she'll be back. She turns me on. Nyla Rose - Once again, somebody that never had a thing to do with the E. First Trans champion that I'm aware of. Wasn't sure how I'd react to her character but her AEW work has been exceptional. Shida - Never been in WWE. She's a great Champion. Can go in the ring. Don't care about the promos when someone can wrestle like she does. (Very easy on the eyes as well. Sorry for the creepy JR vibe) Had an excellent match with Thunder Rosa. Brian Cage - If you really want to get crazy, Brian Cage has the FTW title (which would make it non-WWE people 8 WWE people 6) since he holds the FTW Title. Has never been in the WWE.

So that's 8 non-WWE'ers that have been champions in AEW. (Depending on what you think of the FTW belt)
As for the other 6..........
Chris Jericho - Well I mean yeah. If you're dumb enough to let Chris FN Jericho get away, of course he's going to be a champion in the next promotion. Easily my favorite wrestler of all-time not to mention that this AEW run of his has probably been the best work of his career. Which is really saying something. I believe he's elevated absolutely everybody that he's been involved with. Orange Cassidy for sure. Jericho single-handedly put him on the main event map. Le Sex Gods & Sammy Gueverra. Hager, Santana & Ortiz have all benefited. Elevated Scorpio Sky at the time as the only wrestler to ever defeat Jericho. Hangman, Cody and eventually Moxley benefited as Jericho helped vault Moxley into the next stratosphere.

Cody - Dude can't even have his own fucking name and he's already, in less than a year, done more by a WIDE margin than anything he ever did in the E. He's done more than I can even remember. The feud with Spears (back when we still didn't know that despite the 50 things they'd do to get Spears over - he will still suck no matter what) The match with Dustin was my 2019 match of the year. Then he had the whole Jericho, MJF stuff. Had an impressive run with the TNT Title. Gave a lot of shine to basically anybody & everything. Lots of people didn't like the randomness of people challenging him (though I don't know why you wouldn't like such a thing. It had nothing to do with the rankings and everything to do with the open contract) It brought in guys like Warhorse, Kingston, gave us a look at guys like Jungle Boy (Jack Perry) and many others.
So I mean yeah. Some guys are certainly WWE guys but the difference is once they get to the other side, AEW does it MUCH better.

Jon Moxley - Loved him in The Shield. No qualms with any of that at the time really. At some point he became the lunatic fringe, had a talk show, and a plant named Mitch if I'm not mistaken. Even if I am mistaken, I'm not looking that up. He also had a bullshit match against Brock Lesnar. His AEW debut is one of the greatest things I ever saw. I'm far from a "fans guy" but that debut wouldn't have been even a 1/4 as good as it was without them. He's been a terrific AEW Champ. His in-ring was so stale in WWE. Completely the opposite in AEW. Promos, matches, presence is completely different in AEW. Despite the future I see for MJF, Moxley retaining was wise. Super looking forward to him vs Archer. (Not to mention some Jake promos)

Brodie Lee - This guy has been the MVP of both Dynamite & BTE for well over a month now. Yes I'll agree that you shouldn't have to watch a Youtube series in order to keep up with the TV product but you're simply doing yourself a disservice.
Watch BTE. Trust me for fucking once in your miserable lives. Y'all know I hate shit like that but the Dark Order has been next level on BTE, Shit is hilarious.
Anywho, as per usual, the AEW version of this dude is significantly better than anything WWE ever did with him.

FTR - So there's your 5th & 6th dudes. (Reminder: non-wwe 8 wwe - 6) They're pretty much WWE thru & thru. Many consider them to be the absolute best tag team in the world. Here's what WWE thought of them:

I enjoy BTE, and Brodie in general, but what has he done that's been so good?
He's been yelling and mocking Vince. That's it.
Plus everyone knows John fucking Silver has been the BTE MVP.

What has Brodie done on BTE that's been any good or in AEW in general? His character on BTE is simple, he screams at his minions, who he makes jump through hoops for his enjoyment, like you said, Vince.
In regards to Dynamite, the Cody steamroll was one of the most impressive things I've seen on the show. It was unexpected, shocking, surprising, a shot in the arm that "anything can happen" for Dynamite. I loved it & know I liked it a lot more than some folks on here, but I thought everything about it was great.
I think Dustin vs Brodie tomorrow night will be really solid. You have Brodie slowly dismantle all that Cody loves, so when he finally makes his comeback for revenge, it's just him, no Nightmare Family, no entourage, just Cody.

First of all, I'm questioning if some of y'all have actually been paying attention to BTE. Brodie is the star every week. Silver is a close second. Followed by Uno, Reynolds & Grayson.
He's a taster:
14:23 - 18:28 (Please for the love of God watch this!)

I don’t think anyway questions that content. I don’t think anyone has a problem with their roster breakdown. I simply made the point as a casual/fringe/dormant wrestling fan they haven’t consistently drawn me yet or get put to spend $50. That’s the next step. What little I’ve seen hasn’t gotten me there. That was really it for the most part. You took it to this crazy place.
