I thought it was an ok doc. I always enjoy the footage of behind the scenes prior to a show, like the Rock talking about hitting his spots and the camera being there. The rest was fine, your standard WWE doc. Rollins deserves more credit than he got for doing that weekend with a fucked knee. Roman deserves credit for having to switch opponents and stories before the biggest show of the year. Both of which didn’t really get much time to tell their story in all this. It was a doc to make you think The Rock & WWE thought this was all the fans idea to change the Mania main event. So WeWantCody trending for 3 days and Rock getting booed completely made you change it and go “you know, it’s the fans who are right, we have to give them what they want”. When the flying fuck has it ever been that easy? I think it was money fell through for Mania 39 for Rock/Roman, they thought they could get to 40, but Cody got hot after 39 and they pivoted then. No way was the biggest Mania ever pivoted a month and a half before it happened. I actually don’t think this is that unbelievable. The backlash was pretty big. The difference is Vince isn’t making that call anymore and he was stubborn as fuck. I’m not saying you’re wrong but I think it’s definitely possible they did pivot that late. |

I could see them pivoting after Vince fucked off and decided to make it a multi year story with Rock, they’re of course not going to come out and say that though, for obvious reasons.
If Vince was still around, I have no doubt in my mind we would’ve gotten Rock vs Roman at Mania 40.

She just abruptly left CMLL before the shows this weekend.
While I would’ve liked her in AEW following that Forbidden Door match, AEW simply can’t get everyone, I know that. Regardless, I’m glad she’s going to get more exposure. She crushed it

It’s not Dave, he said on Observer Radio this morning that people are blowing it out of proportion. They had a short term deal that is about to expire, but folks knew it was around now it was close to up. Everyone is getting along fine and it’s not the story people think it is about him trying to angle for a lifetime deal or anything. Just hammering out terms.
My assumption is if he’s been injured for so long (wrestled what, 2 matches?), they can extend the current deal right? Just like if others were hurt, they can keep you longer (like they did with Brodie if I remember correctly).

According to SOURCES, it wasn't a short term deal. Rather it was a 3 year deal that would expire in 2026.

The longer and longer the Grant case goes, the more and more she comes across as unlikeable and unbelievable.
She doesn't want to turn over a piece of documentation that this Doctor says will help his case. If she has it, and it's nothing that helps him, turn the thing over. Instead it looks like she's hiding stuff.
