I’d love to see it presented more like the 80’s/90’s era and not whatever that shit was post-2000.

Jesse Ventura will be on the return of Saturday Night's Main Event and Vince won't be.

Just turned on the October 86 edition of SNME. I really hope they keep the old music.

Because of course it is.
Also this all was from a girl who gave the bracelet to Punk and it’s kind of shitty they didn’t give her at least some kick back or something out of this whole thing.

They gave her a couple thousand bucks for the design.

Comments on this are very funny though. Telling her to sue. Get Jerry McDevitt on the horn!

That was quick. Also apparently they were selling these for $10 (so $17 with shipping). Even for wrestling merch that’s wild.

Selfishly I want them to stay in AEW, but what’s left? They had tag title runs and bangers with everyone as singles and tag. They will clean up on merch for WWE.
Credit Tony for not holding Fenix for like a year after he was injured quite a few times.

Credit Tony for not holding Fenix for like a year after he was injured quite a few times. They'll get lost in WWE and see less time on TV.

WWE will just throw the Lucha Bros in with all the other Latinos who are feuding or teaming with each other. They still book by race there.

Bad Take Book appears again. I get you want to be a company man, but of all the people to take a shot at, it’s Cole, who is out injured with a badly shattered ankle that required multiple surgeries? Oh, I wonder why you haven’t heard from him for a while??
C’mon Book, you could’ve chose a few former WWE folks who haven’t been utilized well. But Cole? Makes you look like an idiot

He's not completely wrong with Adam Cole. He's basically a nobody now. Granted some of that is because of the never-ending injuries, but Cole felt way hotter during his NXT run than at any time during his AEW tenure. Maybe with an exception of his debut.

I’d say a majority of it is because of injuries. He got bad concussions and was off. Came back in the main event program of Wembley, building to the Devil storyline (like it or not) and they had to scrap it last moment due to the freak injury of shattering his ankle.
I thought he was over for quite a good amount in AEW, but each time it seemed like they were going to go all the way with him, injuries derailed it.
Just felt like an odd choice to call out as “I don’t see much of them” when you have guys like a Miro (which would be timely), Malakai, Buddy, others.
Cole has main evented PPVs and been in top programs, they just didn’t pan out. It’s not like he’s just relaxing on the sidelines waiting to be used like Booker would make it seem.

Sure he could've used other guys. I get it.
No Cole isn't lazy. He's a great dude who wants to work. Unfortunately he has been in forgettable positions. Or maybe it's like most of AEW and it's all easily forgettable. I don't know.

With the exception of the dumb Jericho feud and the never ending ROH Tag Title program (both of which took place when he came back last year after the concussions), he’s been an upper tier guy.
Funny thing is, had he said Miro or Malakai, I would’ve agreed 100%. Picking Cole, I disagree entirely.
In a sense it’s smart of Book to pick a guy to rile up the fans, even if that guy is hurt and you can’t blame that on booking. But I’d say Egon is the exception to the AEW rule when it comes to NXT. What has Shawn Spears done, what has Pillman Jr done besides have hilarious facial hair? If we want to talk main roster, Andrade is in the same position he was when he left.

Sure. It's the same with guys who went back to WWE.
Andrade is in the same spot he was when he left WWE, but that's better than where he was in AEW.
Maybe it's just me, as well. Maybe I forget too much AEW stuff.

Andrade I’d say is in the same spot in both companies. Except now he’s back in the company his wife works for.
He’s a guy who has great matches in the mid card and by all accounts, should be doing more. That’s both his AEW & WWE runs. Is he still the Speed champion?

I know Booker called out Cole but I didn't read it as he was shitting on Cole, just using him as an example. But your are right Random he should have used Miro or Black or a half dozen others instead of Cole. I think his point is that AEW has talent, they just don't know what to do with them to keep people interested in them. I took it as a criticism of the booking.

One former writer claims they witnessed a colleague in a leadership position tell another writer “something to the extent of, ‘I wish your dad pulled out and came on your mom’s tits instead of having you.’”
When asked for clarification, Rolling Stone could not confirm what the term "Doot, Doot, Doot" meant so it was redacted from the piece.
