I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss Jade in AEW. Credit her for going to WWE, getting paid off little in ring experience, but we’re coming up on a year being in WWE and she’s had 4 singles matches. Getting ring experience during tag matches is fine for a while, but at a point you’re going to have to throw her out there without so much of the training wheels. She’s a beast, let her at least go out and try.
I know she’ll turn heel on Bianca and that’ll be presumably the big Mania feud, but I’ve just been so underwhelmed by her run so far. They just wrestle the same 4 tag teams recycled. Though she did like 90% squashes in AEW, so it’s sort of the same

I don't think they planned on the tag run going this long but they watched the matches.

Bianca and Jade have been solid together. Jade is learning how to be a WWE pro from a great teacher.
The heel turn will be wonderful, and Jade winning at Mania will make her bigger than she's been before.

I could see them starting the turn at the Rumble or something. Both of them want to win it, Jade dumps Bianca (or vice versa) and you’re off. Bianca is Hogan and Jade is Sid. Yeah, I know, I wish I didn’t use Hogan in this example as well.
As for Jade, you still have house shows, maybe not as many, but still. She’s wrestled ONE singles match on a house show. Use the house shows, something AEW didn’t have at their disposal, to give her ring time in front of people. Only way you can get better.

If the owners of the company didn't know it was happening, they're incompetent. If they did know, they're complicit. Which one is it?

Weird that Vince's lawyers left this part out in regards to Mushnck being sued by WWF for defamation. www.postwrestling.com/2021/02/14/tom-cole-at-center-of-the-wwfs-90s-scandal-passes-away/"During this scandal in 1992, Vince McMahon noted to reporters Dave Meltzer and Phil Mushnick that he had previously fired Phillips in 1988 due to his relationship with children appearing “peculiar” and “unnatural”. However, Phillips was re-hired, with McMahon informing the reporters at the time in 1992 that it was on the condition he “steer clear from kids.” Mushnick was later sued by WWF for defamation regarding the accusations made, the sides settled in 1994 without any money being exchanged and neither Mushnick nor the New York Post admitting error." This is insane.

At the time, it felt like going after Vince was like going after wrestling fans dealing with harassment just for liking wrestling. Now I want him buried below the jail.

At the time, it felt like going after Vince was like going after wrestling fans dealing with harassment just for liking wrestling. There was a part of that in Mushnick's writing, and his thinking. He was Bernstein in the 80s. He's a snob. But even assholes can be right about evil.

I’m applying for this.
Everyone will enter the Royal Rumble to the tune of Hot Cross Buns that I play on the recorder because it’s the only song I know.
If you thought wrestling entrance music was confusing before, you ain’t seen nothin yet, folks!

While I think she was over the top far too often (not every match needs balls out screaming your head off intros, also I was one of the few who didn’t care for the Cody break down into tears call), if that’s how good of a job she was doing when she didn’t like it, that’s impressive.
I do laugh that her goal was “to maybe be general manager one day.” Like that’s an aspiring role in wrestling now?

I could be wrong, but her posts strike me as someone who maybe got a little involved in her hype. I say that as a big fan.

A better, more coherent version of what Billy tried to do with NWA.

However if her heart really isn’t into doing ring announcing, I get it. I wish her well. I hope she doesn’t regret it. I thought she was delightful. She has been my favorite ring announcer since Finkel.

Save it for special occasions. Jon Moxley doesn’t have to have 47 syllables in his first name for every match. Doesn’t matter where she does it. So you’re wrong.

So fucking stupid and pointless. The blood money belts that they’ve been building up are going to stay in Saudi and the winners get rings.
