Punk is coming out of this with another injury. He started the match not even going for the buckles because he wanted to beat up Drew. Now he's trying to sneak a win by hitting buckles at the same time as Drew. There have been some in match story issues on this show. |

This show ending with a lefthanded handshake is quite fitting.
Hey, for a maintenance show, it gave me something to have on in the background while I do some work.
Compared to a mid-PPV 10 years ago it was a 5-star show.

Getting caught up on this thread. Shouldn’t the Drew/Punk match have been just a standard beat the fuck out of each other kind and not the buckle tappin one? This is a blood feud, turned into a bracelet feud, so I guess this fits.
Again, haven’t seen the match, but do you think they went the buckle tap route as a way to limit how intense the match was so not to risk another Punk injury?
That’s a legit question. You can make the match more about cinema and can they/can’t they reach the buckle instead of just whipping the holy fuck out of each other.
