My go-to SummerSlams are 1990 and 1991. Attitude Era would be 2000. 2002 may be the best one top-to-bottom though.
SummerSlam '92 was cool but I didn't see it until later on VHS. This was during a period where I had switched to WCW almost exclusively (I know, what was I thinking?).

The Kurt Angle documentary was amazing. Very little (comparatively speaking) was about his pro wrestling career. Just a really well done look into the good and bad of his life.

I was surprised how much was focused on his collegiate/Olympic days. When they covered his pro wrestling career there wasn’t much new, but it was a very good documentary.
I also love how even after all these years, they can’t help themselves to shit on TNA, no matter how briefly. Playing a clip of JR talking about how disastrous that run was.
I wouldn’t call it disastrous. His actual life was crumbling and falling apart with drugs and alcohol. The actual matches I dug from Kurt.

Kurt's TNA run was fine until Hogan and Bischoff came in. He did some really good stuff in TNA, but as you mentioned, he was Perc Angle behind the scenes.
I may be the only person who prefers skinny bearded Kurt over the roided up WWE Kurt.

The Kurt Angle documentary was amazing. Very little (comparatively speaking) was about his pro wrestling career. Just a really well done look into the good and bad of his life. I liked the Cobra Kai inspired first hour, but it fell flat for me. I didn't care about them blasting through the pro wrestling as we've all heard those stories. But something didn't work and I usually love their docs.

I thought the OG incarnation of the Main Event Mafia was solid and fun. Booker T & Nash beating up X Division guys whilst doing commentary as Black Snow & Chet Lemon. Scott Steiner being his usually psychopath self. Angle was the Don of the group. And Sting was the odd man out who eventually was booted.
Then it got dumb with heel Joe and Taz and then babyface Rampage Jackson & Magnus feuding with Tito Ortiz and Aces & Eights (fuck sake, gee, why didn’t TNA work you ask? Exhibit #337)

I've seen online recently where some people are starting to feel nostalgic about Aces & Eights. There are actually people out there arguing that it was a good storyline. The only positive thing about it was how committed Bubba was to his role. Other than that, awful.

It was the Black Scorpion storyline. A cool idea with no real idea on how to follow up on it or where to go.

Don’t promote this on your 80 forms of social media or whatever. Stupid dweebs.
At least this finally sees the light of day. I’ll watch this weekend. I hope 1/2 is just Vlad fist bumping Sid every time they were in the Garden

Those numb nuts finally put it up. Just now starting.
This has been on the shelf so long, the first person you hear talking in the doc is Jeff Jarrett

Oh God we have Sam Roberts putting over Brock Lesnar douche and Frank The Clown 2 minutes in? Less Sam Roberts (who still has hair during this) please.
All these jabroni’s are hoping to be Vlad, but they’ll never come close. Vlad never made it about him, he was a superfan and came across as such.
The old photos already are pretty fucking great.

I teared up. He’s such a good dude.
Him losing the two things he loved the most during Covid is so sad.
Wish the doc was longer but happy it finally saw the light of day.
Zero reason it should’ve been on the shelf for 3 years.

Wow. That Vlad doc was not what I expected. Go out of your way if you haven't watched it. It should speak to everyone on this board in some way.

Good for Vlad.
I don't think having his identity wrapped up in WWE is the healthiest thing in the world, but glad he seems to be doing well.
Fucking Bruce thinking anyone named Vladimir is Russian...

It’s a good time to point out nearly the entire World Class run is on the Cock. After watching The Iron Claw, I’m diving into a bunch of Von Erich matches/promos.
Armand Hussein & Killer Tim Brooks vs Kerry & Kevin in the main event of Episode 2 (the first ep available)
2 referees in the ring for the match just looks weird

We haven't done that since the pandemic. That would be kinda fun.

How many people will sign up for Peacock to see the Chiefs game and discover the Royal Rumble is available in a couple of weeks?

I'm late to the party here, but according to a post on WWE Network News from last fall, WWE is no longer uploading classic content. So those Wrestling Challenge, WCW Saturday Night, and Prime Time Wrestling series will sadly remain incomplete.
Not sure who they polled for that decision, but okay.

I've heard from multiple places the old stuff doesn't get watched much at all. I don't know what the cost or concern is to just roll all of it out there either.

Yeah I know it doesn't get the viewership or engagement that the current stuff does. But I can't see what the harm is in just putting it all out there.

Exactly, it comes off as lazy to just have all these shows that you own and they’ll never see the light of day again.
Prime Time 90-92 Mania Action Zone Shotgun Jakked/Metal Heat 2000-the end Wrestling Challenge 87-the end All American Wrestling Live Wire Velocity
Saturday Night 1993-2000 Main Event Pro Prime Worldwide
So dumb they stopped or never posted these shows.
Thankfully Quarantine Files have you covered on a lot of those matches!

Granted he & KO winning the tag titles at Mania was great, you’ll never get another moment like this.

Bray documentary is out, and is really well done.
Cool hearing old interviews with Bray and Harper.
