Monday, February 21, 1994 It took me nearly a year, but I finally get an A rating show. This was not nearly my best booking or creative. This was more a culmination of the build of some storylines, characters and continued development of in-ring talent. Really hoping we can knock WM10 out of the park. Hogan also seems to be over again, thank God.  |

Fucking Hogan just asked to be released. I refused. He tells me he is sitting out the rest of his contract. I can't even talk or negotiate with him. WTF!?!?!? Wrestlemania is like 3 fucking weeks away and he is main eventing from a year long storyline build. Maybe I won't get that Hogan-Hart Wrestlemania match after all. I've reach out to Randy Savage for a 10 Pay-Per-Appearance contract to fill in for Hogan if I have to. Match will be better, but I am going to be so pissed. The Hogan-Hart storyline is the higest graded storyline in the entire wrestling world at the moment. Fucking Hogan...

Could he still offer to come back even though you can't negotiate? I heard Vince is still trying to reach out to him, but Patterson is completely against it. Hogan is currently content retiring to Venice Beach, and take in Dodgers and Kings games. Rumored to be engaged to Alundra Blayze.

I need to see Terry's Peeps held up on the shoulders of the entire face roster to close the show. However, I have an alternative. You go with Savage face v face. Scott Steiner just put his brother out of action at the end of the tag match. Savage wins a forty minute spectacular. Bret and Savage shake hands at the end. The next night, the show opens with Bret congratulating Savage on the win. Says he needs to take some time away to think, but Savage is the champion. All of a sudden, a new theme hits. Out comes Big Poppa Pump. He challenges Savage to a match. Steiner absolutely destroys Savage in the match with a DQ finish. Hart comes in for the save, propping Savage up in his arms while staring at a grinning, posing Steiner. Steiner has permanently retired Savage. Title is vacant. You build to Steiner v Bert. |

This would start the beginning of the Million Dollar Hitmen. However, the Hollywood Blonds are white hot (sans Bob Holly) right now so two heel factions don't make sense at this point anyway. I may save that down the road for Blonds to go face while Bret goes heel. If Savage signs and I can't get Hogan to show up, then I'm going to have to make some decisions here. Fucking Hogan. On a side note, WCW premiers Nitro on ABC in a week and half...Hogan? Motherfuckers... |

It was the only was I could re-open talks with him. Now I'm just trying to negotiate for WM10. I'm at the point where I'll give him whatever fucking $ figure he wants. |

Wrestlemania X will be going down tonight. Overall happy with the card. Hogan really fucked me on the year invested build. WM10 taking place at the Cotton Bowl instead of MSG - and with Hogan out I bet I don't come close to selling out. Fucking A.
