That's outstanding.
I'd make a trip to see that.
Although the skeleton next to Owen Hart may be in poor taste.

Maybe Hogan inserts himself into Triple H-Bryan storyline. The Rock did so as host with his main event years ago. Maybe Hogan creates a stipulation to get Bryan in that title match, by defeating Triple H first. Then the fans get Bryan 2 times in one night. If Bryan went over on Trips, Orton and Bootista on the same show...wow

From what I read from Smackdown, Batista really plays up the heel role on the show. They've built Orton up (or at least have tried to) as their top heel & the crowd is going to boo Batista regardless, it's just weird to see a heel/heel-ish Mania main event.
Ryan I was thinking the same thing, as I just watched Mania 27 a few days ago. Seems like it could be a possibility Hogan could put Bryan into the match. They're going to have to do something. Building Batista/Orton as the last match of WrestleMania without any interference or anything will be universally crapped on by everyone.

Pretty funny stuff from Foley:
Mick Foley No Longer Under Contract With WWE Posted by Larry Csonka on 03.03.2014
He looks forward to working with the company in the future…
- Mick Foley posted the following on his Facebook…
THE END OF AN ERA
It is with mixed emotions that I announce that, as of yesterday, I am officially no longer the General Manager of "Saturday Morning Slam." While I am saddened by the end of my illustrious run as the main man behind the stratospheric success of "Slam" – truly some of the finest weeks in company history, I also know that I can look back without regrets. Whether it was dancing with the Prime Time Players, dancing with The Usos, dancing with Broadus Clay and Sweet T or singing "Danny Boy" with Shaemus, I held absolutely nothing back; leaving a piece of my soul behind with each and every historic 30 minute episode.
OK, seriously: I enjoyed having the opportunity to do the show, enjoyed being a regular part of WWE TV for a while, and am grateful that WWE honored the contract for the entire year.
So, with my "Slam" contract completed, I am no longer under contract to WWE, but look forward to working with them in the future. I did an appearance for WWE today at a NY Islanders game, will represent them at a Knicks game this week (pretty sure these are unpaid appearances, although WWE can feel free to surprise me with a little check-a-roonie in the Foley mailbox if they want to) and will continue to represent WWE in a number of community relations appearances in the coming year.

Minimum of five years writing and production experience in network television
That is why the shows suck. At least hire cable writers. Everyone knows that's where great writing is now.

What in the ever loving fuck are they gonna do with Sting for a year? I read that. Does he show up at the end of the Taker/Lesnar match?

Hopefully he and Taker train for a year and Sting comes out at the Raw after Elimination Chamber.

Do you think that would be the first time they show him or will we see him at some point in the next 30 days?

I'd show him after Taker's match, standing in the rafters.
Then show him at big shows through the next year.

I like that. Will that be the only match that the Stinger wrestles in the E or will he blow thru like 20 opponents in the next year culminating with Fandango just before his huge once in a lifetime match with Taker?

I'd show him after Taker's match, standing in the rafters. Then show him at big shows through the next year. Goodness gracious. This is perfect business booking. Well, and booking. Taker beats Lesnar. The whole stage deal is going off. Sting is standing on top of it. Taker does his whole bit, and "almost" sells Sting, wincing like he doesn't totally know what's happening. Sell Sting shit throughout the year. Taker doesn't respond. Taker shows up, but Sting isn't there. Etc. Ultimately Taker goes over, which makes Vince happy. Sting is questioning WWE business maybe? Prove himself? He only has to show up roughly five times. Give me the 2014-15 version of 97' all over again. It's not nostalgia. It would work. I could put a Rock/Cena one-year setup together for this deal. The only problem is they have to stay healthy. Thanks Obama.

I think they'd need JR to call the match at Mania this year to sell the importance and shock of seeing Sting.
Cole just can't convey that sense.

Cole & JBL's bickering each week is awful. I had to mute it during Smackdown, it's arguably the worst I've heard in a long time in WWE. JBL just repeats himself over & over, we get it Show & Bryan are donkey & Shrek, no need to say it on 3 straight shows.
I love that idea for Sting. Throughout the year have him do what he did on Nitro, just show up, drop someone & leave. Obviously I don't think they'll do the "coming down from the rafters" thing, have they done that in WWE at all since Owen? Regardless, having him come down, lay a few people out & then have him do it a little more & more as Mania nears. It could work.
If they do it, Sting will be 56 & Taker will be 50. Taker always brings it at Mania & if he is there for one major match, Sting could more than likely put together a decent one as well.

I want this match. Wish it was this year. Doesn't have to be amazing, but I'd love for them to put on a ring psychology clinic for the back - somewhat like Hogan and The Rock did, but with their type of characters.

Vince: Steve, can I call you Steve? Ha ha. I know we've got a history with the whole repelling thing. But let me show you something Ted Jr. (Vince shows footage of him doing the Michaels drop from WM 13).
Sting: Yep. (Perplexed)
Vince: Ha ha. Jesus Christ I love this guy! We're going to make some money together Little Ted. Paul is going to start working on your buria, booking scenario for the next year. Great to have you aboard.
Sting: Vince, can I call you Vince? I didn't sign anything yet.
Vince: Of course you didn't pal. We needed to make sure this works for both of us. That's why McDevitt is coming in with the papers now. By the way, all of those rafter waivers. Standard in any deal. Don't worry. Goddamn pal. I'm excited. Mark is excited. Hell, even Paul is excited. But most importantly, I can tell you're excited.
Sting: OK
Vince: (Paul, I want him dead six hours after 31)

I bet Roddy Piper won't be inducting him. Piper went from thinking he'll be on the card against Hogan, to watching Mr. T get inducted at the HOF ceremony. This is about as bad as Vince's "Piper's Pouch" comment.

WWE News: Company Happy With Network Streaming, DISH Not Likely to Carry WrestleMania Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.19.2014 DISH says no... - WWE does not believe that they have had any serious issues with live streaming on the WWE Network since the NXT Arrival show. While there have been a few small individual issues here or there, they have not heard of any significant issues in terms of streaming the live editions of WWE Main Event. - DISH is sending the following messaging to subscribers who have been asking about the availability of WrestleMania XXX: Please note that WWE is not willing to adjust PPV costs to satellite/cable companies, which is unfair to their customers. DISH needs to re-focus efforts to support partners that better serve DISH customers and other satellite/cable companies, including DirecTV, have also expressed they may no longer provide WWE PPV events in the future. I like how Dish tried to throw in DirecTV there without saying they were not going to offer Wrestlemania. Guarantee Direct does.
