I apologize if I've repeated this story before. But this is one of my favorites. Right after Snuka was released by Vince, Verne wanted to bring him in. Snuka showed up for a meeting acting strange. Greg didn't realize Snuka could hear him.
Greg: Dad, we don't need this guy. He's nuts.
Snuka: You think Superfly is nuts? You think I'm nuts? I'm not nuts.
Snuka goes into a bathroom stall, where loud snorting noises are heard. Snuka comes back out.
Snuka: NOW, THE SUPERFLY IS NUTS!!

I also liked the break up of a certain tag team and a certain somebody turning heel.
Additionally, I'm enjoying the trouble that's brewing within yet a different tag team and the possibility of that individual being replaced. I'm guessing it'll be that NXT guy.
And of course there's a slobberknocker of a match that's been announced for Chamber.
And a certain promo with Triple H sounded fun as well.

If they could take away some of the other guys from The E that are undervalued.... Grab a Sandow, Ziggler and Cesaro and you are ready to rock n roll......and of course MY GUYS the Briscoes from ROH must be involved because I need to see more of them then on some shitty cable access channel on Sunday nights. |

I could see this being a shoot if this scenario occurred. They planned to bury Bryan in a match with Sheamus. They legitimately realized they can't do it because of the end of Rumble. They refused to change their "big attraction" of Orton v Batista. Go to Punk and tell him he's now facing Kane in the second match on the card. It will be Bryan in his spot v Hunter. I could easily see him saying "F it, I'm out!" But who knows these days.

Batista does nothing for me but I have never really watched him as I was taking a wrestling break. I am assuming this is 100 percent name recognition and trying to appeal to the lowest common denomanator. I thought that with this new network you need guys like Punk and Bryan to thrive. The masses that want to see Orton/Batista don't want to watch this every day. They peeps that like Bryan and Punk will absolutely watch regularly. |
