Apparently there were 700 tickets for the show and they didn’t sell it out. They also had an actual cheerleader fella to try to get the crowd going.
Charging like $250 a ticket for this show is what they were doing. Fucking serious? I know this was the Apex, but why not cram that place full of people and make it seem super special?
Overcharging tickets until the last second (which in this case they didn’t even drop the price) has been an issue with AEW. That shouldn’t be happening in NXT.
Missed opportunity to me.

Cody announced a Battle Royal next week to determine Trick's next challenger. Said you might know some of them, but some of them will be from different locker rooms.
I'm assuming from TNA, but maybe Starks?

I’d honestly have Starks win the ladder match and TNT Title. Don’t just put it on Jack because it’s the logical thing to have your heels run around with titles together, have one of them chase, fail, chase and ultimately win it.
The Elite’s golden boy has everything set up for him to win…then he doesn’t.
I realize I’m describing what a babyface should do, but it could work in Jack’s case.

Good for them, this NXTNA intrigue seems to be working. But they had Evans win that battle royal to earn a Title shot against Trick, only to beat him later in the show by Egon.

This is brutal. BUT, they need to do this kind of stuff in NXT to get people mic time and promo work in front of a live audience. Even if you could hear a pin drop and the acting is fucking atrocious. You can only (hopefully) get better with the more reps you do.
Yeah, this is bad though. I also still don’t understand why Roxanne is a heel, that feels forced as hell. This tiny fiery babyface just became a whiny heel.

I know this is only a quick clip, but when Trick first started, he struggled on the mic, he’s improved so much as a promo, so it’s absolutely doable over time for others to improve as well.
