That was pretty great.
It's a shame to lose Oberyn though.

This was a good battle episode at the Wall. Not on the level of the Battle of Blackwater Bay, but not bad.
Season finale next week where there should be a couple nice OMG moments.

This was a good battle episode at the Wall. Not on the level of the Battle of Blackwater Bay, but not bad. Season finale next week where there should be a couple nice OMG moments. I didn't really like it. Grenn and Pyp dying? Sam being so bold? And for only a handful of Nights Watch left there sure were a lot that got killed by Thenn's and Tormund. With a couple more surprises for next week, I don't see how any other season is going to live up to this one.

Yeah Pyp and Gren dying ducks but they haven't been an integral part of the show. I think Dolores Ed will be the one to manipulate Jon's ascension.

That was pretty bad ass. Some interesting liberties with Brienne/Hound stories but it could work. Helped that was a great fight. Not sure I understand Varys after hearing the bells and then getting on the ship?

Yeah Varys taking off is...odd. is he gonna take Jorah's place with Tyrion?
The rest was pretty good.

Also, the Cersei-Jaime deal was odd. Didn't he rape her 9 episodes ago? Now she can't wait to jump all over him.

Melissandre and Jon Snow shared a look over the fire of burning bodies.
Dany chaining up Viserion and Rhaegal was depressing. At least Drogon is still out killing kids.

{Spoiler} I will be beyond livid if they cut the out the Blackfish. But it would be replacing Oakheart not Swann. Effing Westeros noobs on that site.

Winter is coming again on Sunday.
And the new release date for Winds of Winter is October.

Way too much going on again. We don't get the Old Man in the House of the Black and White. Jamie and Bronn team up should be fun though.

So Tyrion ends up with Jorah anyway.
Not sure how I feel about Sansa actually being in Winterfell rather than Jeyne.
Loved John doing away with Janos Slynt.

FYI I am watching this season but refraining from posting anymore until season is over. There are certain things I really like they are doing and certain things I don't (re: above). I am willing to withhold judgement until I have seen the entire season and see how it goes. Ok I'll say one thing - the Sand Snakes aren't nearly as hot as they were in my head. And Bronn is awesome, I suppose if no Blackfish he is the next best thing to have.

So Stannis is marching on Winterfell and Jon is going for the Wildlings.
I enjoy Dany's story immensely more in the show.

Cersei got hers.
Stannis marches to Winterfell and war.
Aemon doesn't go to Oldtown.
Jorah and Tyrion find their salvation.
And GHOST.

Don't fuck with dragons.
Next week the internet will break. I really thought they would have done it this week and done last nights next week to end on a high note of sorts.

Most if the story lines for this season end the same way as they do in Dance.
Except one.

I've not read any of this thread. HBO is doing a marathon of the entire series. It was on my to-do list before the new season started, and they made it a little easier until I get HBO Go on my television.
This show is pretty much everything I'd heard thus far.
