HODOR!
That episode was nuts. I'm not sure how I feel about all the happenings but I think I like it.

Meh. I'm not huge on the over the top supernatural stuff. I feel like they have enough stories with humans and conquests. Well, and midgets and dragons. But whatever.

The time paradox that basically created Hodor has a "Lost" feeling to it. Hopefully they know what is going on.
The Children of the Forest creating the Others was odd, but not completely out of left field. They created the Others to fight Men, and then the Others ended up turning on the Children.
A girl is still not no one, no matter how much she tries to convince herself that she is.
Tyrion and Varys getting Melisandre v2.0 into Dany's camp. That probably won't end well.
Are Yara and Tyrion going on the Victarion journey? Or will Euron go there himself?
Either way, he ain't Euron Crow's Eye here. And the GODDAMN DAMPHAIR DOES NOT SUPPORT EURON!
The Starks are on the move to rally the Northern houses and Brienne is heading to get the Blackfish.
Next week looks to be all kinds of crazy in King's Landing.

I think we're seeing all of the Stark children end their journey and join together with various learned powers.

It kind of bothers me that it has become a meme like this. Not sure what that says about me.

Weeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaak episode. However, spoilers were unveiled. Very much a set-up episode and majority of the story lines I don't care for. -Samwell/Gilly...yaaaawn. -Randyll Tarly! Now that's a badass motherfucker. Damn he's a cranky SOB. But you can see why he's an MFer on the battefield. Fucking ruthless. -The timing is obviously different than the book but they also cut the crap and revealed Coldhands. -Can't say any book reader was to surprised with Benjen being Coldhands. Now let's see how Bran fucks him over -King's Landing...I just can't get into the Sparrow/Lannister/Tyrell storyline. I don't understand how Maergery flipped so quickly from 2 (?) episodes ago. -Arya vs Waif...hell yes. Of course I literally have no idea why GoT writers decided Arya needed to 3 damn seasons to get to this point. So stupid how her story line got slow played. -Blackfish!!!!!! Didn't really feel this episode other than Arya vs Waif showdown coming soon at a TV near us!!!

Very much a set up episode.
Lannisters and Tyrells gets outsmarted again. I agree with KW that Margery's turnaround is a bit quick, but I think she is playing at some kind of long con. Not sure what it is, but there has to be something else.
Arya found herself again. Again I agree with Kirkwood that her journey to the hall of Black and White was utterly pointless if this is the end of it.
Sam taking Heartsbane won't end well for him. Or Gilly and the baby.
Dany and DROGON was great. Nothing really happened but that was a helluva visual.
Bran and Coldhands. Pretty neat. Bran seeing Aerys and basically all of history was cool.
Burn them all.

How many times does GoT have to finish an episode with a dumb Dany speech? It's like every other episode she reminds me Chappelle Show Black Howard Dean.
We're going to Mereen, then Yunkai and Astapor! After that it's Dragonstone, King's Landing, the Reeeeaaacccchhhh, beeeeyaaaaaawwwwww!!!
Should've ended it when Arya decided she's not no one and blows out the candle.

I think you guys under estimate Sam. I think Randyl will be the one to get his comeuppance for shitting on Sam his entire life. Drogon was awesome. They have done a great job with the Dragon CGI for this series. And I am still not sure what happened with Sparrows and Margery. Fucking Tommen just starting get some cojones and he goes all dumbass again. THe best part was the Blackfish coming back - hell yes. I hope he skewers Walder Frey and the entire line.

Yeah I may be attributing characteristics of book Tarly to show Tarly.
Book Tarly would skin Gilly and the baby and force feed it to Sam.
I like they're sending Jamie to the Riverlands too.
And Jackref gets the Blackfish.
Finally.

Sam is the one character I thought could never be killed. I had a really bad feeling when they were walking him in the house. I suppose that's the writers doing their job. *Honk, WWE, honk*.

I suppose it's hard for a fanatic to admit a mistake. Isn't that the whole point of being a fanatic. You're always right.

- Sheesh, did they really have to spend a quarter of the episode on The Hound? Nice to see him alive but far too much time allocated to whatever that was. - Sansa/Jon storyline was alright. Sets the scene of how difficult their challenge will be to regain Winterfell. - Blackfish!!!! Riverlands scenes were best of the episode. Good stuff. That's going to be a great plot to follow. - Arya/Waif has begun. This is going to get really good. Let's see if Arya uses her training to outwit Waif. - King's Landing getting set to have some shit go down. I am intrigued as to what Maergery's plan is with her long con. - Iron Islands scene was fine as they established they're taking the ships to Mereen. Move that plot along. Nothing wrong there.
Geez why did they spend so much time with the Hound?!!?

What a waste of Ian McShane. Very disappointing. And how did the Brotherhood not see the Hound? He is almost a foot taller then most people and horribly disfigured - not someone who can hide in a throng of peasants. Arya should have seen that coming too - I look forward to when she Needles the Waif. Interesting how Yara and Theon going to get Dany and not Euron.

There's an interesting theory about Arya and the Waif that I have to find.
I think McShane only wanted to do one episode once he found out his friends had already been killed off.
