Ok, so Velvet is actually the one that grabbed the briefcase and then gave it to Robbie E during the opening match. Now that only 2 (twoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo) briefcases remain, Robbie E is freaking out and has made Velvet sit in the seat. It's the "Fired" briefcase. So Velvet is actually the one who's fired. I guess. Either way, Robbie E was the highlight of the night. And now MVP and Lashley are fighting in the streets of New York. Let's hope neither one of them uses the Rear Naked Choke. |

Long opening promo segment but I liked it a lot on a couple of levels. Showed wrestlers can make their own matches in a logical way without an authority figure present, and they really concentrated on how important the World Title was to each of them.
So apparently Lashley, Roode, MVP and Aries will be going at it later for the title. That doesn't suck.

Damn fine Knockouts match. WWE should be ashamed of what they're having their Divas do. Or not do is probably more like it. Terrell retains her title.
Can't say I'm the biggest fan of the up close, ringside, floor level camera work that is becoming so prevalent in both TNA and ROH. Much prefer the wide angle, though the close stuff does offer a certain intensity not otherwise seen.

Long ass talking segment. Pretty effective though as Tommy Dreamer called out Eric Young and eventually EY snapped on him and a timekeeper. I struggle with taking Dreamer seriously ever since that podcast about him hopping around on someone's bed with his bare ass and trying to wipe it like a dog does when it has stick shit.
That disturbs the fuck out of me.

By the way, all of the "live reports" of Hardy's bumps sucked. Yes, it was a stupid bump. But people reporting his legit injury must have missed Storm kicking him two minutes later.
Up next, we have MVP's group that makes no sense. I feel for the TNA creative team. I tried to create logical factions with this roster. Usually I can pull something out of my ass. I had NOTHING.
