Genesis Part 2...Dixie acting first 5 minutes. Just awful. Thing is I really like the wrestling out of this company. Its such a disaster. That may have been the worst attempt at advancing a storyline I've ever seen. Ever. Seriously. Ever.

Always nice to have a dungeon master behind the chick in the steel cage eye molesting her and mouthing weird shit at her.

Kurt Angle doing a promo backstage as if its live, but you can here a match taking place in the background since they are using the mic on the fucking camera. Amateur hour.

So if Sting loses, he's gone? His contract is up soon...

I've been told he's going to do the Wrestlemania thing. I guess we'll see. It would be awesome if he was a special entrant in the Rumble. Maybe he cleans some house. Next entrant Undertaker. People. Shit. Pants.

I've been told he's going to do the Wrestlemania thing. I guess we'll see. It would be awesome if he was a special entrant in the Rumble. Maybe he cleans some house. Next entrant Undertaker. People. Shit. Pants. I get fooled by these things almost every year but this time I think it's happening. And I could swear that you could almost pinpoint where the E learned he was coming in. I think the original plan was Lesnar/Taker. Then they did that Lesnar promo/squash between Lesnar and Henry where Lesnar made him look like a total beyooootch. Some comments were made too that seemed to be driving towards Taker. Then somewhere during that following week something changed because the next thing you know, Big Show is making Lesnar look like a beyootch. And if it's Bryan/Taker, at this point there's no real logical way to get those two together at Mania. The timing of Sting's kayfabe contract/real contract match up quite nicely with allowing for this possibility. And Sting seemed to have softened his stance in recent years and possibly was even regretful for not jumping at the opportunity the past few years. Sting probably has a nice little Legends deal in the future as well, should he do this. TNA & Impact are a mess. The stars have aligned perfectly.

If he doesn't now, then Sting just isn't all that smart when it comes to business. I'm not even a big Sting fan, but you have a wrestling icon who never has wrestled for Vince. I would be surreal to see him on RAW leading up to Mania. And a lot of money could be made for "one more match" with The Undertaker.

Though he does have a reported net worth of $8 million, he won't be drawing anything from TNA in the future (when they shut down) as opposed to what he can open himself up to with Vince. One weird thing with Sting/Taker, or even Bryan/Taker for that matter, is that there's no heels. Sting can't play one to save his life, the fans won't allow Bryan to heel, and Taker is Taker....who also hasn't heeled in like forever.

As much as I would like to see Sting/Taker for the sake of seeing it. What happens, he comes in, loses to Taker at Mania (no way is Taker's streak ending because of Sting), then what? He leaves? He starts a feud with someone else? I actually wouldn't mind seeing Sting work in some capacity with other guys, but it seems like if he goes to WWE, he'll be there for a one & done match.
I started watching Impact this week, but turned the channel after the intro. It's embarrassing how bad Dixie Carter is as an actress. I also liked the "Spud, just go find Ethan!" opening credits hit & out walks EC3 with the guys just like that. Dumb.
I will watch next week for Richards/Eddie though. And assuming title change number 14 in the last month between Sabin/Aries.

You know though, if Sting and Taker put on an epic match does it matter if we know who will win? I feel like the last few years that's what we expect but every match is pretty awesome lately at Mania for Taker.

There's really only 2 people left that we would have our doubts about in a match with Taker. Cena & Bryan.

Top Guys I'd Like To See Sting Face at WM30 other than Taker purely from a match standpoint:
1. HBK 2. Triple H 3. CM Punk 4. Damien Sandow 5. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt This list makes me realize it's Taker or Bust for Mania. After Taker beats Sting, and builds him for the WWE audience in the process, these could work. But there's zero history. I don't think Punk could pull off a Sting feud for Mania. Obviously there's no history with Taker. But it would still be a thing because of their mystique. WWE can ignore all of Sting's history, with the exception of his two years feuding with NWO black. At least for the vignettes. The kids might not even know the NWO. But it will look cool. Meanwhile, the nerds will be jacked. I think Sting could put in another year until the following Mania. He wouldn't face Taker, in what SHOULD be Taker's retirement match. But he could put some guys over, solidify his legacy, and have a pretty complete career.

I'm not getting too heavily invested on a Sting WWE deal, been let down too many times. Specifically the one where it was like 2-21-11 where there were awesome promos leading up. I wouldn't mind more of that.
Then again TNA could do it where he's the "investor" so them tearing up his "wrestler" contract wouldn't matter. He could then do some BS where he brings back AJ too. Which would bum me out actually. Hopefully I'm wrong on that one.
Also, anything to get Sandow on the Mania card, I'm all for. Such a waste of a potential push they did (or didn't do) after his ridiculously underrated feud with Cody after the MITB.

I mean I think HBK and Triple H could definitely work. I could see the Wyatt Family being intrigued by Sting. Have Sting lose at Mania to Taker, let him go on a nice run with some top guys throughout the year and at Mania 31 maybe let him actually go out on top - or if Taker-Sting 1 was somehow epic, let them go at it again. I don't know. Like I said, I've never been a huge Sting fan. I'm pretty neutral, but I do think he's a really good worker. I like his in-ring psychology. With the current state of the "E" it wouldn't suck if he took up ten minutes of programming a night.

He bring himself back. This is exactly why Sting put his career on the line to go after the title, because he really didn't put anything on the line. He outsmarted them. Boring.

Also, what's his beef with Vince McMahon? Didn't he at one time not want to go to the WWF simply because he thought Vince was a bad person? I mean, doesn't he need to reevaluate that process if I have my story right? Bischoff, Russo, Hogan and Dixie Carter - these are the people he has been answering to over the last 15 years. Does he really think Vince is any worse than these people? Hell, if anything the E is more kid friendly than ever. The E's values are far more in line with his life values than TNA.

I'm just dreading hearing Tenay go ape shit crazy when Sting is revealed at the investor. Think about it though, Sting is 54, even though it'd be great to see him in WWE just to have him there, I don't know if I'd buy him having a chance to go over on any of the guys there. He's almost better suited for TNA & doing the whole wrestle a 4-5 minute match every so often. His days of fighting for the World title should be over though.

The investor has been revealed. I just farted. Compared to Dixie, it's got more heat and smells better. I guess Buff Bagwell was too busy to be the investor.
