I see. This is like the equivalent of having Albert the secret investor.

It's not terrible. There were plenty of worse choices being bandied about. Work on the main roster of WWE for four years, tour Japan for three, and you have enough money to be a decision making money person in TNA. Surprise. Tonight, the mystery investor will be playing the Adam Sandler role. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqVtvIQy7tI

That's exactly what I was thinking. What the hell kind of money does MVP have to make it a believable story? This could be good bad tonight. MVP sucked at promos...and now with Dixie? Oh joy...

I have another reason why the Carter Family needs to sell TNA. I just did a search for a funny Dixie picture. That was a damn fine looking southern lass. She now looks beat up. As someone who knows what stress and other things can do, she's aged ten years in the last three. As Laurence Holmes would say, she could still get it. But I legitimately feel bad. I think wrestling is killing her slowly.

Two things currently I like about TNA.
1. They have a better belt. The "WWE" sucks. I still love the WCW world heavyweight champion one. The TNA one would be an acceptable looking belt in the E.
2. Getting Sting off the books is going to help their expenses. I wonder what kind of draw he is on his own these days in association to TNA. If its minimal, letting him walk is a great move. Looks like Angle is taking the Sting role and they probably will use him that way until his contract runs out. This isn't bad business since their wrestling product is pretty damn good. If they could just fix their creative and tv production.

Did you guys just see the "limo" van that just pulled up with the investor in it? They can't even do this right.

If they could just fix their creative and tv production. I remember putting a full scenario together a few years ago. It essentially eliminated every expensive talent. But everything I heard is Spike wanted Sting, Hogan, etc. Without that cable deal, TNA is dead in a month. We'll see. If they're letting him go, that's obviously not the case. By the way, I'm pretty sure I just saw the new TNA investor show up in a 2002 Ford Windstar Minivan. Seriously.

I wish Bully would go back to the E. Same with Angle. And reunite Beer Money and bring them in too.
I'm also cool with all of them going to the new Jarrett/Toby Keith promotion.

Please do not forget that Teddy Long had to pay MVP a lot of money to agree to an exclusive contract with Sandown so he probably was able to become a TNA investor with just that money alone.
I think it says more about him as a business man that he would spend his money so foolishly like investing in TNA.

MVP brings a sign into the ring. "I'm the New Investor!" Only problem? It said "Magnus = Ratings" on the other side. That's the action of a guy who just invested his own money in TNA.

MVP! I never cared about this guy in the E. I actually liked him. But this doesn't do anything for me. Also, you're correct. The Abyss/Park thing has gone on for about two years. Blown up on the opening segment of a taped Impact.

Go to the UK get a huge crowd?? I'm on pause right now for True Detective. I might join here at the top of the hour. TNA is kind of a big deal in the UK. That's why I actually praised Magnus being champion, and the way they created this little heel faction. The problem is the "little heel faction" is supposed to be the biggest thing in the company.
