If I'm Jericho, there's no way I don't get essential promises of a title run. I know that didn't go well for Batista, but Jericho will get over. They really abused him agreeing to put over young talent. He could be great as the leader of an anti-establishment movement. He can add a couple young guys. Almost a DX Light.

Monday Night RAW, June 30th, night after MITB(written without guessing who's gonna win the MITB match(es) and/or the Daniel Bryan situation) 9:00 Hour Randy Orton vs Dolph Ziggler - Tremendous battle back and forth but in what has pretty much become the norm for Dolph, he loses yet again.

"You've let them get in your head. All you think about is your "Spot" instead of your opponents. You're the same guy that ENDED MY CAREER at one point. ME, the guy who beat Stone Cold and the Rock on the same night. The first ever, and I mean ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhvah, Undisputed WWE Champion as well as the Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla..........BABY!!!" Crowd erupts. Jericho continues....... "Can you please find it in yourself to do something relevant agaiiiiiiiiiiiiiin?" Ziggler takes the mic.......... "I can"  Ziggler lays out Jericho and heads up the ramp. Jericho is laying on the mat with a shit eating grin on his face. We go to commercial. |

I actually like it. But I wouldn't do it ON Jericho's return. I'd let him do his own deal one night, and do the Ziggler thing the next night. I'm being serious. This didn't totally suck.

Monday Night RAW, July 7th8:30 Goldust/Santino vs Rybaxel - Goldust and Santino lose. Not surprisingly, it was probably a horrible match. Cody is seen backstage watching.

If you can ignore the Ted DiBiase part, you can see that Jericho has found Cody backstage....  I said IGNORE the DiBiase part. Jericho starts in, "Hey Cody, how you been? I can see how tough this is for you. I don't know how to say this but as a friend to your family, Dusty, Goldust and yourself.............I've known you since you were this high (putting his hand down at about kS height). And I've known Dustin since he was about this high (putting his hand up a little to Rock Star Spud height)..... .....it's obvious that you aren't the weak link. No matter who you put with him(Goldust), they lose. It has to be almost impossible to watch the end of your brother's career. But he's had a great, great run. That day comes for all of us at some point. It's nothing to be ashamed of........" Jericho is still going......... "I say this sincerely. It's time to have that long rumored match with him. Do you want to see somebody else end his career? If somebody has to do it, shouldn't it be you? As much as I hate to say it, it's time has come. You need to turn the page and restart your promising career. You can't carry him forever. Are you feeling me?" Camera zooms in on Cody. Cody says, "No, but you're feeling me" Cody lays out Jericho. Jericho almost seems to have a slight grin on his bruised and battered face as we go to commercial....... |
