My thing is, this couldn't have been planned that far in advance. Why give her that much offense on Asuka if she's going to be released?
She's a really good wrestler, just rarely got to show it off.

Sawyer Fulton was let go from his NXT contract.

Feel bad for the guy, he was in NXT forever doing nothing, finally got put with Sanity when they debuted, but immediately got injured, so he was replaced with Killian Dain.
He's a big dude. I could see him getting work on the indies.

Saw this online: " - Regarding the WWE releases of Emma, Summer Rae and Darren Young, don't expect to see them sign with any promotions until March at the earliest. F4Wonline.com notes that all three are currently being paid through the end of February under the non-compete clauses in their WWE contracts."
So Emma & Summer can go back to spending all day on the beach in a bikini...oh wait, they both have been doing that the last 6 months too. God Bless Instagram.

Leo Gao got released too.
MANY people seemed to like him and he seemed like a funny guy on Twitter.

Sawyer Fulton was let go from his NXT contract. WWE 2k18 has been out less than a month and its already outdated with 4 roster members gone.

So the "yeti" dude(Josh who won Tough Enough, not the Yet-tay), that sounded like Chewbacca was whacked.

Just saw the Ellsworth was whacked. Makes sense after all of the beatdowns he took in Europe from the women.
I have to say I was jealous of the dude for a while there. Got to be next to Carmella for a long time. Got to have Carmella give him a bronco buster. Got a power bomb from Carmella. Got a match with Bex probably got a handful here and there in the match. Guy lived the dream...Jimmy Dream!!
He's gonna make a lot more money on the Indies now.

He got the most you could hope for out of a run that started as a one-off jobber.
Good for him.

Obviously I'm not hating on Ellsworth the actual person. Just hated that character with a passion. WWE always overdoes it with those types (Santino, Eugene etc...)

He turned a squash match into an almost 2 year run. I can't praise the guy enough. He did amazing in his role.
Nothing but respect for the dude. He'll get a lot more gigs on the indie circuit now too.

Late July of 2016 was his squash with Braun. So a year & a half.

He is just another guy and isn't going to get any more $$ on the indy circuit really. He got paid from WWE for 2 years but someone like Zack Ryder has actually parlayed that into a career. Same dood really.

For some reason, I thought KS would be a huge fan of small wrestlers being led around with a collar.

He was a job guy for one night, managed to get a full time gig. Got placed into the World Title picture with main event guys. Then when that fizzled, placed in a completely different element, being a lackey for a female character, which hasn't been done in a while (at least not that I can remember right now, could be wrong). Was a focal point of the first female MITB, pissed a lot of people off doing so (which was his job). Had a T-Shirt, action figure, trading cards all made of him.
You might not have enjoyed his character, but it's incredibly impressive how much they did with him considering he was a one squash match guy.

Legit just wished he had a better write off. Have him help Carmella one final time to win the title. Then, when she doesn't need him anymore, dump him for good, classic heel.

I guess it was only impressive if you enjoyed what they did with him. I didn't. In the least. Not his fault. He did whatever it was that he was supposed to do. I think they mostly kept him around just to make bad chin jokes to be honest.
