WWE just announced that Emma has been released from her contract.
The company put out a statement saying, “WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Emma. WWE wishes Emma the best in all of her future endeavors.”
The 28-year-old, whose real name is Tenille Dashwood, had a rough stint in WWE. After a successful run in NXT, she was brought to the main roster and paired with Santino Marella. A year later she was sent back to NXT and debuted her Evil version of the character.
Emma returned to the main roster in 2016 but failed to get much of a push. She was supposed to debut a new character earlier this year named Emmalina, but plans were scrapped.
She last wrestled Asuka on Monday Night Raw this week and lost.
It’s unclear what led to her release.

I'm going to miss her hotness WHILE wrestling, haha. I know she never really amounted to much in WWE, I mean how can you get over when you're saddled with the Santino disaster when she debuted (that Wal-Mart thing really did a number on her too). She got injured at bad times, got put with the dumb Emmalina gimmick (though the vignettes ruled), just not a lot went her way on the main roster.
She's a good wrestler, people tend to forget that since she rarely got a chance to show it off all that much. Hopefully she goes back to the indies & of course continues to post delightful Instagram pics.
This sort of just came out of nowhere though.

Add Summer Rae and Darren Young to the list as well. Wow, didn't see those yet. Darren Young had been injured for a long time & even just did an appearance at the Clippers game last night with Miz, Becky & Enzo.
Summer was hurt with I think a bad back injury & we just never saw her again. Talk about someone who posts delightful pics/videos on social media. She'll be just fine modeling. I'm honestly surprised she lasted this long.

Emma was a solid worker in NXT. The bikini pics helped her but she did nothing on the main roster. Injuries didn't help.
Summer and Darren aren't shockers either.
Rusev isn't going anywhere.

I don't see anything bad about the joke, but he shouldn't be tweeting stuff like that right after the person was fired. And Emma posted the broken heart emoji, so it's not like she's super happy she's gone (at least I assume). So he should know better. It is interesting to see the people who have responded though.
