Run Starcade in December, Halloween Havoc in October, and Great American Bash in June. COMPLETELY agree with this. COMPLETELY!!! Wouldn't mind seeing King of the Ring as the other June PPV.

Wrestlezone has learned that Bray Wyatt will be returning soon and his feud has been revealed.
Bray Wyatt will begin a feud with Dean Ambrose upon his return and the angle of the storyline will be one man’s craziness versus the other’s craziness.
It has not been confirmed that Wyatt will appear tonight at WWE Hell in a Cell. Expect Wyatt to be back on WWE television very soon and begin his feud with “The Lunatic Fringe.”
I'm fine with this.

Hell yeah. The promos alone would be worth it. Beats the shit out of that rumored Wyatt/Sheamus feud they had talked about a while back.

As noted, WWE has started selling some CM Punk merchandise on their shop website. It appears WWE and Punk have reached some sort of deal. Punk is also in the WWE 2K15 game that comes out this month and the WWE Flintstones movie that comes out next year.
As noted earlier, attorneys of the former WWE Superstar sent WWE a 22-page letter regarding non-payment of royalties he feels he's owed. In an apparent response to the letter, WWE slashed prices on many Punk items before removing them altogether. This included a huge price drop in the “Best In the World” DVD and Blu-ray, which was reduced to $2.99.
The discrepancy stems from WWE feeling Punk was in breach of his contract when he quit the organization this year, and therefore WWE feels they do not owe him anymore money. It should also be noted that Punk's 22-page letter to WWE was not a lawsuit.

- Actress and comedian Thea Vidale, who played Shelton Benjamin’s mother in the WWE storylines back in 2006, said in a recent interview with Neal Morgan that her time with WWE was the low point in her career. Vidale said she was sexually harassed everyday by a “middle aged man that didn’t understand what no meant.”
Vidale said:
“I genuinely hated that place. While I was there I was sexually harassed everyday by a perverted middle aged man that didn’t understand what no meant.”
Vidale did not name names but continued:
“It was disgusting, I’ll never forget the day he came into my changing area with his private parts hanging out of his pants. I made up my mind at that point I was done with that company.”

I really enjoyed that angle and I'm not ashamed to admit it. As far as the allegations, I've got Harvey Whippleman, Ron Simmons, or Vince McMahon.

It was announced at the Smackdown taping tonight in Houston by the Big Show to the live audience that Daniel Bryan will indeed require surgery on his arm. Bryan has been out of action since June hoping to avoid surgery by rehabbing his shoulder.
Bryan had been scheduled for a surgery in August, but doctors felt he should be able to rehab it without surgery. A recent report stated that strength had not been returning to Bryan's arm and while not confirmed, the belief was that Bryan could be having to undergo Tommy Johns surgery that would keep him out for a full year.

FUUUUUUCCCCCKKKK!!!! I'm glad this will mean he'll eventually be healthy (hopefully), but the selfish wrestling fan in me is pissed we won't see a HHH like build up for a return any time soon.

- Lemelson Capital founder Emmanuel Lemelson is of the opinion that the McMahons intend to sell WWE. Lemelson, who manages one of the largest hedge funds in the world, spoke with Benzinga for a new article about WWE and the Network and said that the company is “clearly an acquisition target.”
Lemelson said that he believes the company is in a particularly “special situation,” opining that it has poor fiscal management but excellent creative management. He is of the opinion that a new management team or a company sale will likely play out in the future. He was very positive about the company’s brand, noting their international appeal and saying that the company’s assessed value of $1 billion is flawed as they were likely worth that much before the network’s launch.
He added that the third-quarter results will not likely have much of an impact on stock prices, either positive or negative, and said of the Network, “The OTT network was a brilliant idea, but the timing and execution from a strategic partnership perspective were wrong, The real value of WWE is not the OTT network; it’s the moat around its brand and prospective earnings power under the right fiscal leadership.”
The third quarter results will be revealed this week during the traditional quarterly call.

WWE applied to trademark the name Kevin Owens on 10/24. This is expected to be Kevin Steen's ring name in NXT. Steen officially signed with WWE back in August.

In a shocking twist, I'm actually fine with this name. Steen's sons name is Owen, so it makes sense. Relieved he wasn't stuck with a name like Buster Fiddlesticks or something like that.

In a nutshell:
- The WWE released their Q3 financials today, and announced the number of WWE Network subscribers. The company confirmed that they have 731,000 subscribers for the network. The company added 31,000 subscribers in the quarter, representing a 4% increase from June 30. They noted that they had an “average of 723,000 subscribers” for the quarter. During the quarter, WWE gained 286,000 subscribers. This would have put the company well over 900,000 total subscribers; unfortunately they lost 255,000 subscribers during the same quarter. Retaining the subscribers continues to be an issue for the company.
The Network was expanded into 170 countries, and considering that they had 700,000 subscribers at the end of Q2, this has to come off as a disappointment. The company continues to gain some subscribers, but is also continuing to fail in maintaining the ones that they had.
All indications from WWE and from financial experts are that WWE needs to average 1.1 million subscribers in 2015 to maintain an equal cash flow. If they were to average 1.4 million for the year, they would be able to attain the profitability of the pre-WWE Network days.

According to The Wrestling Observer (via WrestleZone), the Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins main event at Hell in a Cell has an interesting stat attached to it. The main event was the first match since November 23rd, 1994 (Survivor Series) that two WWE Superstars under the age of 30 headlined a singles match on PPV. That match featured The Undertaker vs. Yokozuna.

In an interview with Fighting Spirit Magazine, Alberto Del Rio spoke about racism in WWE and the incident that led to him getting fired. Here are highlights:
– Del Rio said that racist comments were made constantly in WWE, usually at the Latinos or African-Americans. He never said anything because it was made by the people higher up in the company. He would only say something if someone lower, like Cody Barbierri, made the comment.
– At first Del Rio was told he would be suspended for slapping Barbierri. However, WWE figured out that there was a lawsuit involving an incident with the Big Show years ago. They decided to release Del Rio in case Barbierri sued. He was led to believe that he would be back in a few months. He told WWE if he wasn’t hired back by the time he hung up, he wasn’t coming back. He added he already decided to leave when his contract expired.
– He didn’t reveal who made the call to him but added it was someone who made several racist jokes. He said because he does it, others think it’s okay.
– He said that the former Sin Cara is making $5,000 per match in Mexico with two to three matches per week. He said that the new talents in WWE are making $500 per match. A superstar who wasn’t named (but has a brother in the company) reportedly told Del Rio that he worked a Superstars match, a long RAW match, a promo on RAW and then a dark match at the end of Raw and only got $500 for it. He said other wrestlers got $2,000 for a four show tour of Mexico. Young talent aren’t unhappy but aren’t completely happy. They feel like they have no other choice.
– He said that WWE only wants you to use their style and won’t allow you to “think outside of the box”. He doesn’t blame WWE for that but said he will now mix American, European, Japanese and Mexican styles.
– He said that Dos Caras (his father) will have a retirement event in 2015 with Del Rio, his brother Guillermo Rodriguez, Mil Mascaras and stars from Japan. Rey Mysterio wants to be there.

His style works everywhere but WWE.
He'll make a decent living and be happy working indies around the world.

Former UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen mentioned on his podcast that WWE offered him a $5 million contract at one point, in which he turned down. "I was offered $5 million [WWE head] Vince McMahon... Now, I was still under contract with the UFC and I never took this to Dana," Sonnen said. I handled it on my own. I told them 'No' and that was the end of that. I never told Dana White this story, but here's why I didn't tell him. I knew if I called Dana and said, 'I've got a $5 million offer from Vince McMahon,' Dana would have matched it." Sonnen said that he didn't contact UFC President Dana White and have him match WWE's offer because he didn't want to be seen as disloyal. nodq.com/wwe/416784393.shtml
