Seth Rollins was recently a guest on Philadelphia’s 106.1 The Mix with Brian Soscia, and he talked about a number of topics including The Shield’s entrance and possible problems with fans, who influenced him as a kid, The Rock’s return, and much more.

Regarding The Rock‘s much publicized return to RAW in Brooklyn a few weeks ago, Rollins had the following to say:

“Uhhhh…I mean there’s a little bit of resentment there there’s gotta be, but it’s mostly envy because we all want to have the level of success that he has. We want to have the ability to walk into a room and um, ya know be as well received as he was,” Rollins told Brian Soscia. “Although, he did take the cheap route I think by um just talking about all the boroughs and wearing his little Brooklyn jacket. But that’s The Rock, that’s how he does his thing.”

WWE has won a lawsuit to obtain the WWE.org domain name. The person who previously owned the domain was looking to get $50,000 for the domain. WWE apparently didn’t have to pay anything since they won the court case. Apparently the transfer of ownership has not occured yet. The following message was posted on WWE.org:

congratulations on wwe.org and sorry about the $1700 damage. you also caused me a damage which you owe me still and you will pay back one way or another.

my question is: are you paying back? if your answer is no and i guess it is no, then keep reading….

last time, you said i was threatening and blackmailing you, no i was not. this time i am. and i am not afraid of your stupid multi billion dollar corporation, i have nothing to lose. i swear god i will destroy your wwe within a year or less. even if i will flight it for the rest of my life.

well, i have already adopted my precausions and it is time to get you busy, i mean real busy. how many domains can be registered with a reserved amount of $10,000 ? calculate the time, effort and the huge amount of money that you will be spending on the upcoming thousands of UDRP cases. example: 10 cases will cost $13k. 1000 cases will cost you $1.3mil.

UDRP or even court cases if you wish, i do NOT care. you will be fighting with your tradmark to claim the upcoming thousands of wwe related domains. you will be also fighting for your business welfare which will be destroyed by these domains’ websites that will be identical to your wwe.com website.

identical in many ways as your entire website content has been downloaded and saved. expect a total destruction of your goods and services offered on those sites. oh some won’t be really identical because they will be promoting other stuff like porngraphy and some other disturbing stuff.

oh let me give you a small disappointment. you won’t be able to make a case for all domains at once. they won’t be registered at once or with same registry, registrar or registrant or related in any way regarding email or contact details, they will be even registered from different countries (by the way i am not a Malaysian).

not only that, one will only appear after another once and only after you are engaged in a case and that you have already made a $1300 loss. then the ball will keep rolling.

i see you smiling having this message as evidence to sue me, hahaa no problem you can use it to sue me in any court you like. you know how to fight using a sneaky law, let us see how good you are in a street fight.

i swear god, you must regret it. no need to reply, but you can forward it to your CEO.

- As you no doubt know from the number of interviews he’s been doing lately, Chris Jericho’s latest book Best In The World (At What I Have No Idea) was released last week. Jericho of course relates several WWE stories in the book and Wrestling Inc reports that one of them involves Kofi Kingston actually challenging Vince McMahon to a fight.

According to the book, during a plane trip McMahon told Kofi in a snide manner, “Maybe one day you’ll get over.” Kingston was visibly disturbed by the jab and as Jericho and Kingston left the plan, Jericho told the other man that he had to go back and challenge Vince to a fight. Kingston thought it was a rib but Jericho was being completely serious, being aware of McMahon’s personality.

Kingston took the advice and got back on the plane, asking Vince if he had a problem with him. The two went back and forth and then McMahon went in for a double leg takedown. Vince and Kofi wrestled around for a while, until Vince finally got up and laughed about the situation, appreciating that Kofi stood up for himself.

Jericho adds in the book that McMahon has been known to throw out amateur wrestling moves against the likes of Kurt Angle and thus he knew that Vince would respect Kofi for doing it.

I've seen him wrestle a few times in IWA during the time Seth Rollins was just starting for them.

Business Analysts Tells Investors To Dump WWE Stock

The Street is reporting WWE stock is down a whopping 7.31% today after Nathaniel August, the founder of the hedge fund Mangrove Partners, argued on CNBC that investors should short sell their holdings in WWE.

August told CNBC that WWE would have to "double its subscriber number to the Network to justify its valuation," which his firm doesn't believe will be achieved anytime soon.

"The company has roughly a billion dollar market cap and they've launched an over the top network and pretty much all their profitability going forward is dependent on the OTT network and right now based on the number of subscribers that they have, they'll earn nothing at a corporate level and they need to double the number of subscribers just to justify their current valuation and we think that that's never going to happen.... So they launched it in April at WrestleMania and at the time they launched with 670,000 subs and at the end of the second quarter they only managed to add an additional 30,000 subs and as we've done scuttlebutt based research in how people are reacting to the network, we think people are really unhappy and that the number of additions is going to prove very disappointing."

I hope that was a work.

So in one week we get that quote about Cena/Orton matches and we get Mr. MIB ripping the rock. I like it!!!

Former WWE Diva Chyna posted discussed WWE’s domestic violence policy and the Yahoo! Sports article on Stephanie McMahon. She said that Stephanie is “bad for business” and she’s lucky that she has the golden ticket because she sounds ignorant and offensive. She said that when Stephanie talks about her love story and how she met her husband and how she met her husband it’s like “ewww” and Stephanie comes off awkward.

Then she talked about the domestic violence policy. She talked about when Sean Waltman and her had issues years ago. She claims he was mentally and physically abusing her and she tried to call the police and he tried to lock himself in the bathroom. Police ended up arresting both of them. She said that when the victim is physically and mentally exhausted then you’re screwed. She said that Stephanie is way out of her league talking about domestic violence. Chyna said that it makes her want to have no associate with wrestling and WWE and it’s not ok for people to hit each other on TV. She said that her life has been living hell for the last decade…because of her job and the abuse. Chyna’s video is below.

Amy Schumer is hilarious. Judd Apatow is great. Cena doing anything out of the ordinary, changing it up, it's absolutely fine with me. I'll see the movie, I like the rest of the cast too.

So this is quite the thing. Could it end up like the NFL/CTE type thing? Also gonna include a link at the bottom of the entire lawsuit. I didn't read the whole thing (which could take hours) but I skimmed through and found it pretty fascinating.






UPDATE: WWE’s Director of Public Relations/Corporate Communications, Adam Hopkins, has just provided 411mania with the following statement:

“Billy Jack Haynes performed for WWE from 1986-1988. His filed lawsuit alleges that WWE concealed medical information and evidence on concussions during that time, which is impossible since the condition now called chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) had not even been discovered. WWE was well ahead of sports organizations in implementing concussion management procedures and policies as a precautionary measure as the science and research on this issue emerged. Current WWE procedures include ImPACT testing for brain function, annual educational seminars and the strict prohibition of deliberate and direct shots to the head. Additionally, WWE has committed significant funding for concussion research conducted by the Sports Legacy Institute (SLI), leaders in concussion research, and WWE Executive Vice President Paul Levesque sits on SLI’s Board.”

Original: The Portland Tribune published a report that former WWE wrestler Billy Jack Haynes (real name William Albert Haynes III) is suing the WWE for alleged mistreatment for wrestlers and the WWE’s disregard of wrestler safety. In addition, Haynes is asking the court to grant class-action status for about 500 workers who suffered injuries while performing in the WWE.

Below are details of the lawsuit filed by Portland-based lawyers Steve D. Larson and Joshua L. Ross of Stoll Stoll Bernie Lotking & Schlachter:

“Under the guise of providing ‘entertainment,’ WWE has, for decades, subjected its wrestlers to extreme physical brutality that it knew, or should have known, caused long-term irreversible bodily damage, including brain damage. For most of its history, WWE has engaged in a campaign of misinformation and deception to prevent its wrestlers from understanding the true nature and consequences of the injuries they have sustained. WWE’s representations, actions, and inactions have caused its wrestlers to suffer from death, long-term debilitating injuries, lost profits, premature retirement, medical expenses, and other losses as alleged herein.”

How about instead do War Games? Trips is all about old school it seems, why not do that for a PPV? The chamber, much like Hell in a Cell, lost its luster once a PPV was made specifically for it each year. I'd be fine with the Chamber happening on a special occasion instead of every February. I only assume they haven't done War Games because 2 rings takes up more room on the floor & they need as much revenue as they can get right now. More floor seats the better.

And those titles for new PPVs are horrible. Borderline 'Capitol Punishment' bad.

Maybe it would have been a good idea to do it made sense last year...
