I should show my grandpa this picture. He's pushing 80 & looks a lot better than Taker. It'd give him a confidence boost.
That being said, I'd be fine never seeing Taker in the ring again. No way should a guy looking like this be wrestling, let alone possibly winning, against a guy like Wyatt.

Can't wait to see him against Bray at Wrestlemania. That dude wrestled Brock Lesnar lass than a year ago. Fucking props to the old man.

According to prowrestling.net, the final rating for Monday’s Raw was a 2.66. This is even with last week’s rating, but the viewership was down. Monday’s Raw averaged 3.521 million viewers, which was down from the 3.70 million average from last week. According to f4wonline.com, the numbers represent the lowest average viewers since the Christmas Eve show in 2012. It was the lowest non-holiday audience for Raw since December 3, 2012.

That is terrible news KS. The one raw that actually has an awesome ending to it draws the lowest. This will further Vince's agenda to put stupid shit out there all show long.

Some interesting stuff from Tyler Reks. Especially the road travel.
- Former WWE performer Tyler Reks recently spoke about his time in WWE, crappy WWE pay and more. Here are the highlights…
If he was ready for his main roster debut two years after starting to train: “Not even close, man! There’s always the question, ‘are you ever fully ready?’ I’d have loved to have had more experience on the main roster on house shows. When I debuted, it was me, Sheamus, Yoshi (Tatsu), and Tiffany (Taryn Terrell). We were just told, ‘hey, you’re debuting.’ We’d been on the road for like two weeks, and in front of the agents like twice a week and always just with each other. I had no experience outside of what I learned in FCW. Looking back you do that and then you’re in the ring with Chavo (Guerrero), MVP, Christian, Matt Hardy – if I’d have been able to do that on house shows and then debut– it’d be a different story.”
WWE having the same guys on top: “The only guys who get over are the guys who are already over, and that’s the problem. When ‘Taker started to make fewer appearances and Edge had to retire because of his neck people like me and Hawkins were thinking, “they better do something soon, cause when all these guys are gone, they’ll have nobody left.” That’s the trend you see. You see guys like John [Cena] still on top and Show still on top. I know they’re working to build guys like The Shield and [Roman] Reigns and Moxley [Dean Ambrose]. Had they started doing that a long time ago I think they’d be in a better position. I think creative is really dropping the ball. I don’t know if it’s because of the production meetings they have where Vince changes everything last minute or they don’t put a lot of effort in to it. It’s not planned out more than a couple of weeks in advance. There are never any long-term angles any more. If I grew up on that I wouldn’t have any long-term investment in the product, either.”
Five things he would change in the company if he was in charge: “Number one would be foresight. Think beyond the next couple of weeks.
Number two, I’d say we grade our talent better. I say that carefully because I don’t know what’s changed since I left. The Performance Center is up and running, but if not much has changed then somebody needs to be grooming them when they’re in NXT.
Three, when they are brought up to the main roster someone should be assigned to that talent to keep grooming them. Someone to say “what are your ideas? I have some ideas for you.”
Four, monthly evaluations where you sit down with your agent and they tell you how you’re doing. They tell you what you’re good at, what you suck at, and what they want out of you.
Five, I’d say pay the guys better. It was getting crappy when I left, and the guys I’ve talked to now say it’s beyond crappy. People assume you once you’re on TV you make a load of money and drive Lamborghinis and stuff, and that’s just not the case.
Here’s a perfect example: I hate to spill my salary on the internet, but when I left I got a bump to $100,000 a year. But a third of it goes to road expenses. The only thing they pay for is your flight. You pay for your own hotel, and car, and food. Could you imagine trying to eat out five times a day? As a body guy, you have to maintain your physique and that means eating five times a day. Spending all your money trying to maintain that? Good luck. Then Uncle Sam takes 20%-30%. You guys do the math and see how much I walked away with, which was next to nothing. I was making more money fresh out of college as an engineer fresh out of college in an entry level position than being on TV. That’s gotten worse from what I hear. They do a ton of tours, and some guys would be making $30,000-$40,000 in the day. I went to Europe and I think I brought home $5,000. Then there was one tour I flew overseas and did a ten day tour and made less than $2,000. I made less than $500 a show. The video games are getting worse – guys used to get paid up to $100,000 for being in the video game and now it’s much, much less. The reading audience will think that’s a lot of money, but when you’re on the road it’s not. We don’t all have busses like John and Punk and Show. You’re breaking your body to barely pay the bills.”

Interesting. So those actually were cryptic messages they sent out back then. Or somebody did. Can't remember. Well good for them. Though the E is the one with all the money, there's certainly a negative momentum train that Vinnie Mac is conducting.

I find this rather surprising.
- As reported earlier this week, the Tuesday episode of Smackdown brought in 2.02 million viewers, down 20% from last Friday’s episode. PW.net reports that the show did a 1.51 household rating, down 13% from the previous week’s 1.74.
The household rating is the lowest since the July 4th episode of Smackdown, though the more important 18 – 49 demographic rating was a 0.6 as previously reported. That was down just a tenth from last week and even with two weeks ago.

Honestly I'm just glad he's not on some type of "quest" perhaps with a group of followers, or a "fellowship" if you will, attempting to take control of and/or destroy the ring... I mean... "Ring"

King Kong Bundy Says Bret Hart & HBK Were “Terrible” Champions, Says Wrestlers These Days All Look Alike, When Has He Last Spoken to Vince? Nick Paglino December 23, 2014 King Kong Bundy did a rare 80 minute interview on Vince Russo’s free podcast ‘The Swerve’ from www.pyroandballyhoo.com and can be heard here: www.pyroandballyhoo.com/podcast/swerve-ep-22-king-kong-bundy-early-years-wm-working-whulk-andre-locker-room-changed-returned-wwe/Talk moves to King Kong Bundy looking like a professional wrestler. Bundy said the wrestlers today: not only do they not look like professional wrestlers, they don’t look like grown men. Bundy was out for five years with a bunch of foot operations. He wants to get back out there, not wrestling, but get his name back out there again. He said he is still only 57. Bundy on WWF: “I can’t say WWE. To admit that an organization that I was associated with got bitchslapped by the World Wildlife Fund…” On his 1994 run, Russo says Bundy was only 37 at the time: “I was a young kid. That was a brilliant run. I will never forget that for as long as I live. The business was on its ass. You couldn’t put people on a seat with a crowbar and I’m sitting around watching Barry Horowitz doing interviews and I was doing none. I was there for almost 18 months but they didn’t do anything with me. Vince called me and said he was going to give me a super push. I went back and got nothing. That is a very cold place when they are not doing anything with you. I’m watching Barry Horowitz, nothing against Barry Horowitz, I like him, he has no business in professional business, but I like him. I’m watching Horowitz do interviews and I’m doing none.” On what Bundy did between 1989 and 1994 / Vince McMahon: “I did a computer commercial in late 87. It ran for two years. For three years, I worked for the computer company. The other years I bought a bar – that didn’t work out. I spent a lot of money. I gambled a lot. I did a computer commercial. It was a Dutch company called BenDex. It was a Dutch company that did $6 billion in sales. I do the commercial. All of a sudden, I got full page ads in USA Today, Time, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated. I hoped Vince wouldn’t find out about it. Needless to say, Vince found out about it big time. Ever since that day, and I’ve been told this and never revealed this, ‘that was the kiss of death to your career’. I say ‘To hell with Vince McMahon’”. Russo can’t comprehend Bundy doing a computer commercial costing him his job. Bundy explains: “Vince is such a control freak: the idea of one of his pieces of property being used by somebody else – it was just death to him. He couldn’t stand it.” Bundy on his WrestleMania 1 pay: “I got 5 grand.” Russo said Rock and Austin maybe made $5 million or in the millions. Bundy says: “I don’t know why Vince McMahon pays anybody anything hardly because they have nowhere to go. Where’s John Cena going to go? Japan?” Russo says the top guys are being paid well while people below the top 6-8 guys aren’t. Russo puts over WrestleMania 1-3′s success and asks Bundy’s most successful year financially in the wrestling business: “Vince, I would tell you personally, but I won’t say it live only out of shame… Kamala was a guy he wouldn’t pay for whatever reason. I’m not saying I was the worst paid guy, but I certainly wasn’t one of the best.” Bundy on 1-2-3 Kid Sean Waltman on the magazine: “…I remember back then. I don’t know if you were in charge of the magazine then, but business was on its ass. You couldn’t give a ticket away and I look in the magazine and there’s a seven page spread on the 1-2-3 kid. I doubt Sean has ever sold a ticket in his life…Why would you ever make a seven-page spread on the 1-2-3 kid? Were you high? He has no arms. His arms are like my wrists!” Russo says he got his boy Bundy on the cover of the magazine – referring to him dressed as Santa. Bundy: “Was that your idea, Russo? F— you. That was a stupid idea! That was you, Vince? Oh, that was just bullsh**. I didn’t know that was you. Oh my goodness. That was the worst idea ever. I can’t believe you did that. Now, I’m depressed. I hope you’re happy, Vince.” Russo says “You were the evil Santa to scare the kids away!”. Bundy says: “That was terrible, Vince. I think the world of you. Your talents are great. You’ve proven that, but that was a horrible idea.” Bundy on how it was like working with Andre The Giant: “You really want to know? Absolutely miserable. Andre The Giant was not a nice man…” Bundy on working with Hulk Hogan in the 80s: “Hulk got me my job and always took care of me. He was always good to me. Bundy on Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels being terrible world champions: “… The advent on the downfall of this business was champions like Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Horrible world champions. Did not look like grown men in my opinion. I read Bret’s book. Wow. You cannot pick up a page without being amazed at how this man’s ego was out of control. Bret wrote in his book I called him ‘little man’. I always called him the ‘little hitter’ because he looked like a little kid in the ring. I come back six years later and he’s the world champion… Total piece of sh**, Bret Hart. I used to be friends with Bret. I stayed at his house one time back in the day.” Bundy on Hall of Fame: “I haven’t spoke to Vince McMahon since I left there in 1994.” Russo says Sunny is in the Hall of Fame and Bundy isn’t. Bundy joked: “Koko B. Ware is in the Hall of Fame. I didn’t have a career Koko had.” Bundy on the wrestlers today: “They all look alike. That’s something I’ve been saying for years. You can’t differentiate one from the other. They all look alike. I never watch the show – never. It’s basically unwatchable.” On the bonus 90 minute video interview on the VIP section of pyroandballyhoo.com/vip, Bundy talks about how he feels Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart should not be world champions. He trashes Macho Man Randy Savage, even after Savage passed away, and said Spike Dudley should not have been in the ring. Bundy also talks about Jeff Jarrett not being a draw and how Jarrett had a “creepy looking outfit” referring to the striped clothing he wore in the 90s. He also disagrees with Russo on the way he wrote Sexual Chocolate Mark Henry. Finally, Bundy explains why wrestling changed but doesn’t elaborate on it, leaving Vince Russo and his producer to ponder for 20 minutes at the end of the video podcast trying to figure out what he meant.

- It was previously reported that Adrian Neville will be getting a “Mighty Mouse” like gimmick when he arrives on the main roster. The Wrestling Observer (via Wrestlezone) reports that Neville won’t be dressing like a mouse character, even though it’s inspired by the small yet powerful cartoon. Instead, his gimmick is said to be more like Crash Holly.
– Cesaro has recently slammed his own entrance music at a live event. He is heard in the clip below telling the WWE crew to cut his music because “it’s not good at all.”

Mick Foley has my back. If DB is actually healthy, long term, this is how you save the Lesnar experiment. Let Reigns win the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. He's not ready and the fans will shit on it. Perhaps the most vocal proponent of Daniel Bryan winning the WWE world heavyweight championship at WrestleMania 30 this past April was Mick Foley. He promised to break his television if Bryan didn't win the Royal Rumble, then blasted the company for not booking him to do so. Eventually, the powers that be saw the light and, well, you remember how the biggest show of the year ended back in April. Now, with the announcement that Bryan will enter next year's Royal Rumble after he finally recovered from neck surgery, Foley is once again advocating for the "YES" man (from his Facebook): LESNAR/BRYAN AT MANIA? I SAY "YES"! I'm not going to smash any TV sets this January. I'm hoping not to say, write, or tweet things that make my relationship with WWE difficult. But following Daniel Bryan's emotional speech on WWE Monday Night Raw last night, I think he could be the guy to face Brock Lesnar at this year's #Wrestlemania. As opposed to the earlier Ryback - WWE promo, where Ryback seemed uncomfortable, and in too much of a rush for us to appreciate the substance of the words, Daniel Bryan allowed his emotions to tell the story - reminding us of the journey he'd been on this past year, while not letting us forget what it was about him that made so many of us root for him to begin with. He fights from underneath like few before him ever have, and (despite what some of my colleagues may think) would be a credible threat to knock down the mountain that Lesnar has been built to be. It would be the ultimate David, facing the ultimate Goliath. Man vs Beast. Man vs himself - really no need for Man vs company here. Give Paul Heyman free creative reign to bring out the best in Daniel Bryan - and for the WWE Universe to bring out the best in themselves - and we have got ourselves a compelling Mania main event. See you on the road this month in TEXAS, with JAN 10-15 shows in #McAllen #SanAntonio #Houston #Addison & #Austin and MICHIGAN shows (with Colt Cabana) in #GrandRapids & #RoyalOak (near Detroit) realmickfoley.comCurrent rumors suggest Roman Reigns is the favorite to win the Rumble before moving on to face Brock Lesnar for the title in the main event of WrestleMania 31 on Sun., Mar. 29, 2015, in Santa Clara, California. But as we saw this past year, plans can change in a hurry. Your thoughts?

Probably won't go anywhere but I like this!!
It was announced on WWE Main Event that Edge and Christian have filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against WWE because of what happened at the end of Monday Night Raw. Storyline, obviously. The announcers said that more details would be available on Smackdown so it appears that we’ll see or hear from them again more on WWE TV.
Edge and Christian will still be appearing on Smackdown because they were still “contractually obligated” to host the show.

- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that after a long period of speculation, Uhaa Nation (Sesugh Uhaa) has agreed to terms with WWE on a contract.
As reported previously, Uhaa participated in a tryout camp back in October and WWE officials were impressed, making him a high-priority signing. There had been some uncertainty when it was reported he was signed to a WWN contract, though it it appears that he has worked that out. No word in when he will officially come on board

Chances are they get fed to the Ascension instead. The shirt is great, what isn't great is Tyson Kidd. The fact gimmick could work MAYBE if they gave it to someone with any charisma whatsoever, but Tyson Kidd has got less than none of that. Don't get me wrong, Kidd is solid in the ring, but if we've learned anything from the Total Divas experiment it's that the only member of the Neidhart-Kidd household who has any business on WWE TV is that stupid cat.

- As previously reported, Heath Slater has taken time off from WWE dealing with the assault claims made against him stemming from a WrestleMania XXVII afterparty in 2011. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has officially dropped his SLater Gator tag team with Titus O’Neil, which had drawn a lot of praise for Slater in getting over via a lower-card comedy gimmick.
The site notes that Tyson Kidd and Cesaro were put together as a tag team in order to fill the gap in heel tag teams left by the Slater Gator team. Tyson Breeze has been working on house shows with O’Neil against Los Matadores.
