Awful news. This is a chance though for others to step up & make them into legit stars in NXT now though. 2 of the 4 top challengers (Breeze & Balor being the other) are now out for an extended period of time. It's brutal, but it'll be interesting to see how they go about handling this. Do you make Baron Corbin a top contender? Do you hot shot someone who hasn't debuted yet like Uhaa Nation? Hell could Rhyno challenge Steen? I would honestly be fully content with a Breeze, Balor, Owens feud for the title for the next 8 months honestly. This seems to push back the callup for Balor to the main roster, but quite frankly, I'm fine with that.

NEW YORK and STAMFORD, Conn. — USA Network and WWE announced today that WWE Superstar Chris Jericho will be the host of the highly anticipated series WWE Tough Enough, and will be joined by a panel of experts comprised of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan and WWE Diva Paige. The high-octane reality series premieres LIVE Tuesday, June 23, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on USA Network and around the world. This season of WWE Tough Enough will combine the can’t-miss excitement of live television with reality-show drama, as WWE hopefuls vie for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become the next WWE Superstar or Diva. Unlike anything on television today, the lightning-fast hour of entertainment and competition will include live results every week, giving fans worldwide the power to decide who stays and who goes the very same night. Each week, one cast member will be eliminated until one man and one woman are considered “Tough Enough,” with each earning a one-year, $250,000 WWE contract. Throughout the competition, the contestants will be trained by WWE Legends Booker T, Billy Gunn and Lita. Contestants will also come face-to-face with WWE icons including WWE Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon; Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative, Paul “Triple H” Levesque; Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon; and WWE Superstar John Cena, among others. “These athletes, each with varying skill sets, will be put through a grueling boot camp that will test their physical, mental and emotional limits in a way that the series hasn’t done before,” said Jessica Sebastian, Vice President of Unscripted Series, USA Network. “Each week, their training and experience culminates in a spectacular live event where they will be put in front of their WWE heroes and an audience of fans. In this reimagined version of WWE Tough Enough, only the best will survive.” “This season of WWE Tough Enough will be the most innovative, unique and engaging series on television,” said Kevin Dunn, WWE Executive Producer. “A live global telecast, real-time voting with immediate results, and unprecedented use of digital and social media during and between telecasts will all lead to a groundbreaking viewing experience.” To date, entrants from 113 countries have submitted videos, which have been viewed more than two million times on YouTube. To view play lists of entrants’ videos or to submit a new audition video, go to WWEToughEnough.com. For a compilation of entrants’ video submissions, click here. On Monday, May 25, the WWE Tough Enough App will be available for free download, giving fans even more opportunity to engage with this cutting-edge reality competition series. Through the App, viewers will receive access to exclusive content, learn more about the contestants, take part in social conversation between live telecasts and vote in real time. Fans around the world can also vote live each week for who stays and who goes via text (U.S. only), on Twitter @wwetoughenough as well as on the WWE App, WWEToughEnough.com and USANetwork.com. WWE Tough Enough will emanate live from both the state-of-the-art WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla., home to WWE’s developmental division NXT, and the innovative professional production studios at Full Sail University located in Winter Park, Fla. This launch will mark the inaugural use of the University’s latest high-caliber, on-campus production facility. In 2012, WWE and Full Sail announced an innovative partnership, which created a student scholarship fund, and also allows students of the university’s entertainment-focused degree programs, including Film, Show Production, Digital Arts and Design, Internet Marketing and Entertainment Business, to gain real-world experience alongside WWE’s professional production staff during WWE NXT tapings. WWE Tough Enough is produced by WWE, USA Network and Left Hook Media. Matt Odgers and Scott Teti are Executive Producers for Left Hook Media. Jessica Sebastian is Vice President of Unscripted Series for USA Network. Kevin Dunn is Executive Producer for WWE. Be sure to join in the conversation at @wwetoughenough, @wwe and @usanetwork, and engage with your favorite WWE Tough Enough personalities @iamjericho, @reneeyoungwwe, @hulkhogan, @wwedanielbryan, @realpaigewwe, @bookert5x, @amydumas and @billygunnwwe. www.wwe.com/shows/wwe-tough-enough/hulk-hogan-chris-jericho-paige-daniel-bryan-headline-new-season-wwe-tough-enough-27362450

Don't mind Jericho hosting or Booker T being a trainer. Both make sense.

According to PennLive.com 20 year old Scott Hoffman, who is from New Jersey, is under arrest after allegedly killing his girlfriend’s 18 month old boy after using wrestling moves on the child. The man claimed he used The Rock Bottom and The Last Ride, used by pro wrestlers The Rock and Undertaker, respectively.
The man claims he performed the Last Ride move on the child and he missed the bed, causing the child to hit the floor where he was knocked unconscious. The child was rushed to a local hospital but diagnosed with a collapsed lung and possibly broken neck and unfortunately passed away later.
WWE issued the following statement to The Patriot News in response to the story:
“There is no excuse for a 20-year-old grown man to assault an 18-month old child, no matter what. Using a flimsy excuse about emulating a wrestling maneuver does not absolve Brandon Hoffman of this abhorrent crime. The death of Bryson Shoemaker is a tragedy, and WWE offers its condolences to the child’s mother, Sierra Shoemaker.”
Unreal.

According to DumbFuck.com, 52-year-old Brad Dickman, who is from New Jersey, is under arrest after allegedly running an escort service for the last fifteen years. The man claimed he was only emulating then WWF character "The Godfather" and wasn't doing anything criminal.
The man claimed "Pimpin Ain't Easy" and pointed to his many charitable efforts in the neighborhood. He said this is clearly the fault of World Wrestling Entertainment and planned to file charges.
WWE issued the following statement to The Patriot News in response to the story:
“This is me putting my extended index finger into an OK sign made by my other hand.”

Harper & Rowan teased a reunion tonight on Smackdown. Harper beat Fandango & Rowan came down and beatdown Fandango as Harper looked at the sheep mask.
Seeing as all that Rowan accomplished in his face run was that he solved a rubix cube, the reunion would be great for him. Harper I would've liked to see get a bigger push, but he's stuck in the "heel who can have a solid TV match with anyone, just not an actual feud" role.

There's no reason this roster can't have some awesome tag teams. There's like 40 guys on the main roster. They can't all for the 3 main titles. If there's one thing ROH does extremely better than the E is the tag division. By a mile. The E's division is embarrassing compared to the likes of seeing reDRagon, Young Bucks, War Machine, The Addiction, Briscoe Brothers, the Decade, The Kingdom, etc etc....

I'm definitely in for reuniting The Wyatts. But something has to happen. It doesn't make sense for them to just get the band back together. They will look weak. Does Bray need them against Ryback? Barf. They can't make it on their own, so they run back to Bray? Bad. I'm trying to think of a good storyline.

Here's what I would've done, not sure how they could fix it after tonight, I like it, just this is how I would've gone about it...
They should've had Wyatt face Rowan in what would assume be a throw away match on Raw or SD (which are what Rowan matches are now). Have him lay him out with a Sister Abigail & cradle him saying "you're lost again & just like before, I can save you, come home Rowan, come home" or some nonsense like that. Then you have Rowan slowly start questioning whether he should or not.
Harper never truly "lost his way" & stays loosely affiliated with Wyatt. If they are content with doing this dumb Ryback feud, then work the relationship with Rowan & Ryback from back in the fall. Have a tag match with Wyatt/Harper vs Rowan/Ryback. Have Ryback win & try to show Rowan he doesn't need them. Still have Rowan lose singles matches against Harper & Wyatt, so it makes him frustrated (even have him lose pointless matches to other people to really put over the frustration), to the point where he can't take it anymore. You have Wyatt do his promos trying to brainwash Rowan more & more, but still keep Ryback trying to keep his head on straight until Ryback/Wyatt face off & then you finally have Rowan "come home" and turn on Ryback. BOOM, the Ryback/Wyatt feud has purpose (more than it does now), you've incorporated Harper & you've used Rowan in a way where you actually draw interest in his character questioning what he should do. Wyatt has his family back, we get our beast tag team back & Wyatt can go for the IC title with momentum. I prefer Ryback feuding with Sheamus or Barrett quite frankly.

Former WWE head developmental trainer Bill DeMott was recently interviewed on Vince Russo’s podcast and discussed his resignation from WWE following widespread allegations of abusive behavior towards his students.
DeMott had the following to say about ‘millennials’ and their sense of entitlement:
“I always use the term it’s never the quarterback, it’s the coach. Millennials, I think right that’s what this generation is called the millennials. I think it’s in the whole world. So what I can say and what I will say is as a dad as you are, as I am, I try to figure that out to keep my children away from that entitlement.
I guess it’s old school that you get what you earn and you try to earn what you want. I think that’s all I am going to say about that because I think no matter what the case, Walmart, Publix, IBM, I always use IBM I don’t know why, I go to a lot of management seminars and that’s a lot of the conversation, the opening conversation: ‘What do we do when they don’t like that?’ And I want to walk out because I’m not going to learn anything if I’m still trying to figure out.
It’s tough, it’s going to be tough for whoever has to figure out what they want tomorrow.”

He's such a dickbag. Did he defend the part where he smacked a dude in the head who had a concussion?
I'm not saying everything Demott has been accused of is 100% true & I completely understand that today's society has become butt hurt more easily, but even if some of the accusations are true, he's a piece of trash & deserved to be fired/let go.

WWE is planning splitting up Los Matadores and El Torito on television soon, according to the Brian and Vinny Show on WrestlingObserver.com.
The plan is to have El Torito join The Lucha Dragons and bring in Hornswoggle as part of the Los Matadores.
They have already started to tease the separation on this past Thursday’s episode of SmackDown.

I won't lie, I'll chuckle seeing Swoggle dressed as a matador the first time.
The puns on commentary & the 8 months of matches to follow on the other hand, will be horrible.
Poor Kalisto, how can he break out in his own when he's in a feud like this?

Its what they should've been the whole time. There's no way this was the plan all along. Go out & get zero reaction, no cheers or boos, nothing, for what, 5 months? It was to the point where the Matadors were put in the tag title match at Mania & not them. The Matadors!
Thrilled they've been so awesome, especially Woods, whose screeching on the floor during tag matches is pretty damn entertaining.
Unlike The Ascension who steamrolled everyone for a month, then Vince lost interest & now they've done nothing for months. They were awesome in NXT, now they're goofs.

@thedamiensandow: ...and to my critics in and out of WWE. Remember, I'm the guy that made being a stunt double work. Play the hand you are dealt. Go forward.
I think this Mega Powers deal will be entertaining for about a month, but they need a woman to get between them. Should've never had Summer turn on Mizdow. They could've had her play the Elizabeth role. I see this getting stale quick though. Hope I'm wrong, Sandow has turned chicken shit into chicken salad many times before.
However it's clear that WWE only considers him strictly a comedy act, which is disappointing, because it means he'll never get a legit push out of it. He's entertaining as hell, but he's a great wrestler too. Wish they'd give him a chance for a singles title.

Sandow is the perfect kind of guy for that kind of title. It would be near impossible for him and others like him to get one of the three main titles with Rollins, Cena, Brock, Ambrose, Barrett, Reigns, Ziggler, Bryan, Orton, Rusev, etc....... ahead of him.

According to WWE.com, the WWE Tag Team Championships and the Intercontinental Championship will be defended inside the Elimination Chamber. It would be the first time either championship are on the line inside the Chamber.
So 6 teams? Cesaro/Kidd, New Day, Harper/Rowan, Lucha Dragons and are you seriously going to tell me The Matadors & Prime Time Players (Sandow/Axel and The Ascension are the only other options) are going to be in an Elimination Chamber? Just weird. 4 of the teams I'm fine with, but the others, eh not so much.
I actually like the idea of the IC title being on the line in the Chamber to hopefully crown a new champ. Barrett, Neville, Ziggler, Sheamus, maybe Stardust & someone else.
