So I was watching last nights NXT on Youtube this morning. And during the first Women's match it was Sasha Banks against...and here's the problem...No F-ing Clue. They didn't introduce her, the announcers never said her name once and the crowd was chanting "Let's go black shorts". Even the commentators acknowledged the chant, but never said this chick's name. I mean what the hell? I understand she's a newbie to NXT and is going to Job in the match, but actually introduce the new talent. I did find out she was KC Cassidy, but should I really need to search for someones name?

According to TMZ.com, WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall had to be escorted out of an independent show in Asbury Park, NJ over the weekend because officials deemed him too drunk to perform. Hall was scheduled to do a meet and greet at the Skate & Surf Music Festival, but he was reportedly drunk hours before the scheduled appearance time. Officials asked Hall to sober up before the appearance, but he reportedly refused. Officials then asked Hall to leave, but he again refused and demanded to be paid. Security was then called in and they had to escort Hall from the event. Ricky Otazu, who was promoting the event, had the following to say to TMZ Sports: “The event was too well run for us to make a fool of ourselves by allowing him to appear. I'm not sure about that DDP Yoga. Jake almost died after completing it and Hall is hitting the sauce again. And Jericho turned into a fem. (Which is cool but still)  |

WWE.com has posted a new entrance video for Rusev, which abandons his ties to Russia and goes back to presenting him as being from Bulgaria. When he originally debuted he was called the Bulgarian Brute, and in storyline defected to Russia. It remains to be seen if the Russian flag and the Hero of the Russian Federation “Gold Star” medal are dropped from the act.

The submission deadline for the new season of WWE Tough Enough is June 5th at midnight. The Winners, which will include one male and one female on this season, will receive a one-year $250,000 contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.
The show will begin airing on the USA Network Tuesday, June 23rd at 9PM ET.

Not the most exciting news but:
- According to Pwinsider.com, here are the latest updates on The Big Show, Layla and Brad Maddox.
* Big Show was back at last night’s WWE house show in Utica, NY. He was expected back on TV last week, but creative pushed his return back.
* Brad Maddox and Layla were also at the house show last night. Maddox was doing some dark matches a few weeks back, but has not been a TV regular since being written off in May of 2014.
* Layla hasn’t been on the road since the last WWE European tour but did appear for the company on May 11th in Washington, DC at a Susan G. Komen event.

Why does Big Show have to return? He can just go and be fat, tall and terrible at home....forever. I'm still not sure Maddox didn't have a wellness break. He looked coked out of his gourd many times.

Maddox had a YouTube show briefly, it was pretty funny I thought. I've always been a fan, they've just never done a thing with him. He'd succeed & get a chance in the indies, but still wish he'd do something on the main roster.

I didn't know this, but I guess Owens vs Cena at the PPV is a non title. That at least gives Owens a chance. It's more likely he gets DQ'd or counted out, but it'd be pretty good if Cena took a pin. Cena will always be strong & will still have the belt. A pin over Cena would be huge for Owens & would give him even more bragging rights on NXT.

I'm the NXT champ, a title that means something because I hold it. I beat you, I'm on a better show, better luck next time kid.” Then Owens could walk around for a year and say he beat John Cena, and it builds for a rematch way down the line. Also legitimizes NXT even more. |

* According to Pwinsider.com, NXT star Sami Zayn is in Birmingham, Alabama today. He is scheduled to be getting shoulder surgery to repair his damaged rotator cuff. Zayn was written out of NXT storylines at the NXT Takeover: Unstoppable event. The injury, which was aggravated again when Zayn appeared on Raw to wrestle John Cena, is something that has been bothering Zayn since before he signed with WWE.

- Regarding WWE NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks missing last week’s NXT live events and TV tapings, there is now talk that she suffered either an arm or shoulder injury. It was reported earlier this week that she was not injured.
Banks was scheduled to work a match during the 4th episode of last Thursday’s NXT TV tapings but she left to go to the hospital when her fiance Sarath Ton, working as Mikaze, was legitimately knocked unconscious during a tag match with Jason Jordan and The Vaudevillians. As noted, Sarath was recently hired as the new WWE seamster. We don’t know yet if Banks went into her Takeover match against Becky Lynch with the injury or how serious it was. As noted before, it’s possible she didn’t wrestle at the tapings due to Sarath’s injury and now we know that her match was scheduled on the same taping that he was injured on.
– PWMania.com reported that Actor Stephen Amell of Arrow, who worked a brief angle with Stardust at RAW this week, has expressed interest in guest hosting and possibly wrestling in the past. It’s now confirmed that WWE is looking at doing some sort of program between Amell and Stardust.

- Regarding Rusev possibly suffering an ankle or foot injury at Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown tapings, sources have confirmed it is a legitimate injury. As of Wednesday, WWE’s official word was that they didn’t know what the situation is just yet.
Other sources have said that Rusev was trying to downplay the injury late Tuesday night and telling people that he was okay.
Rusev is scheduled to work the Elimination Chamber for the vacant WWE Intercontinental Title on Sunday but there was talk that he may be replaced by Bray Wyatt if he’s not cleared to wrestle.
