Man, does ANYBODY like Vince Russo?
A few days ago it was revealed that Vince Russo is still working for TNA even though the company and Russo have been denying it. As it turns out, Spike TV hates Vince Russo and TNA was trying to hide the fact that Vince Russo is working for them. They wanted to hide it from the fans but more importantly they wanted to keep this a secret from Spike. Spike TV knows about it now. Also, a lot of the talent knew but the company would deny it to them too. Russo is not in charge of anything but he’s a creative consultant for the company. He doesn’t go to shows but he’s been working from home. This could blow up in TNA’s face because of the timing of all of this with TNA’s TV deal on the line. They have people knocking down their door to broadcast Impact. On that note, do you know how hard it is to have a showing like the one above with a national cable show. You have to do everything you can to keep people from attending. It's really time for them to go away and let the leftover performers succeed elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm skeptical about the Jarrett deal.

There's times where I think they're on the verge of something incredible. Most of those times are Calvert induced so I'm not so sure. Global Force Wrestling announced the following today: GFW TO PARTNER WITH EUROPEAN PROMOTIONS Global Force Wrestling: Join The Force! NASHVILLE – On the heels of partnership agreements with the top promotions in Japan and Mexico, Global Force Wrestling has formed an alliance with several of the top independent wrestling promotions throughout Europe, including the United Kingdom, Germany and Ireland. Stepping forward to #JointheForce are Revolution Pro Wrestling (www.revolutionprowrestling.com, covering south of England) New Generation Wrestling (www.ngwuk.com, covering north of England) Premier British Wrestling (www.pbwwrestling.com, covering Scotland) Westside Xtreme Wrestling (www.wxw-wrestling.com, covering Germany) and Emerald Wrestling Promotions (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Emerald-Wrestling-Promotions/100651866652805, covering Ireland). “If you look through the history of pro wrestling you’ll find great talent from Europe woven throughout,” Global Force Wrestling founder and CEO Jeff Jarrett said. “We put the word ‘Global’ in this new brand, and we meant it. We believe fans want a wrestling promotion that brings something new and exciting and will engage them at every turn, and that’s what we’re going to do.” Veteran wrestler Doug Williams, a multiple singles and tag team champion in his native England and in various U.S. promotions, has been instrumental in helping Global Force Wrestling put together this European alliance. “I am very excited to be a part of the Force, and I really look forward to helping facilitate the relationships between GFW and these top independent wrestling promotions,” Williams said. “The European style will bring something a little different to the table, just as the other partners will.I can’t wait to see it all come together under one umbrella.” GFW announced its partnership with Mexico’s AAA on April 29 and with New Japan Pro Wrestling on June 23. Score Jr is absolutely ecstatic about these partnerships. He feels that Jarrett is bringing back "territories" to combat Vince, He also feels like the WWE and/or GFW are hacking into his XBox dealio as he apparently has this sort of setup already going on in his WWE2Ksomething game.

Smart kid. I've said for years Vince could create a "territory" system that's run like a franchise. The kicker is the locations don't have to turn a profit, just not lose money. The benefit is the talent creation. Along with 100 other things I discussed. Jarrett is only doing a talent share, which should minimize costs.

Oh the E has definitely hacked our boxes.
The last 6 months of Xavier Woods career looks an awful lot like a certain tiny afro having Blacksploitation Ninja crossed with a certain white and red suited Malcom-X-ian manager, both of which I've been making on WWE video games for the past 3 years.

That's bad news for TNA.
They seemed to turn things around recently. Hopefully they land somewhere else. Maybe CMT.

I think they'll be alright. Where does a network find those kind of ratings?
CMT is a possibility.......depending on the Jarrett/Toby Keith connection.
Fox Sports 1 and NBC Sports have a ton of programming hours to fill. (Though NBC might be out with their WWE relationship)
Kind of crazy too, considering the last couple weeks' ratings have been SOLID.

You mean reruns of Ink Master are going to pull better numbers? I know TNA has sucked majorly, I stopped watching during all the dumb Aces & Eights stuff when it got ridiculous. I keep up with it here & ere on YouTube, but they have done absolutely nothing HUGE to draw & interest viewers. King Mo standing by Dixie? Yeah that worked out wonders with Tito & Rampage. And bringing in guys like f'n Snitsky (with his Ox Baker facial hair) & Zeke (even for a few weeks), that won't do it.
They have bright spots like Roode, Storm, Aries & of course The Wolves, but other than that, it's nothing special. Bubba Ray was one of the best heels in all of wrestling a year or so ago & now he's just another baby face taking on "the man" or in this case "the woman" for months. EC3 has been solid in the ring from what I've seen & Spud is so fucking annoying, meaning he's doing his job perfectly.
Sadly the negatives far outweigh the positives with TNA & it has been that way for a long ass time. Ahh the days of "Joes Gonna Kill You" are long gone, hell I have no clue what happened to Joe. Somewhere AJ Styles is rockin his Bullet Club shirt & thrilled he got out while he did.

I don't think Spike is going anywhere. This could be really good for the wrestling business. Great call dummy. I'm heading to Vegas. Any thoughts? I'm not asking for advice, I want to sell you some real estate.

Dave Lagana, former WWE creative writer and current Director of Creative Writing for TNA, has approached Ring of Honor as a possible next step. He is interested in producing future live PPV events, as well as managing all of ROH’s online and social media presence.
Lagana has been with TNA since October of 2011, and actually worked as a backstage producer for Ring of Honor for several years, following his six-year run as a writer and producer for WWE. He became well known on the internet as the voice of the “I Want Wrestling” podcast in 2011. We’ve been told there is at least some preliminary interest by ROH in bringing him back to the company.

What are the chances Spike's parent just buys TNA? Losing TV makes it worthless. This could be the moment Bob and Jan step in and tell the little lass it's over. You can still get something. Spike can continue with one of their best shows and stop wasting time with Dixie and Co. This could be huge. Imagine if you don't have the obvious backdoor deal with JJ, and you have WWE, TNA, and GFW? It could be a thing.

It's pretty hard to make Russo a sympathetic character. Leave it to a Hart. Whoa. For the record, Russo blamed the Owen deal on the WCW guys *STEVE* that mysteriously out of nowhere offered their services. The same guys *STEVE* supposedly *STEVE*, who had been successfully lowering Sting to the ring....without dropping him.

Look bro, it was this guy Steve, and bro, Steve said they've done stuff, bro, Steve, in the area for Sting, bro, and Steve said Steve.
By the way, that entire story is bullshit. I've heard at least five people debunk Russo on that one. All that said, Smith Hart is the dick in this deal. I only need the authorization of a Chris in Joliet to really go after him.
I don't have a brother, or a brother's death to try to gain Twittah followers. But I have people I consider brothers, and I wouldn't use them dying to get over. You know you're a piece of shit when you make Russo look like the face in a feud.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT REGARDING MY SITUATION WITH TNA/SPIKE TV 08.03.2014 BY VINCE RUSSO LEAVE A COMMENT
As always, there has been much rumor, hearsay and scuttlebutt surrounding certain topics concerning myself, TNA and Spike TV. At this point in time, having parted ways with TNA and the ability to finally speak freely–there are a few things that I would like to set the record straight on.
1. As I stated earlier this week on the VIP Section of pyroandballyhoo.com, I was officially hired by John Gaburick as a creative consultant on October 24, 2013, with the plan being that it could lead to a permanent position in the future. At the time of my hiring, the specific instructions laid down to me by Dixie Carter, was that if anyone was to find out about our working relationship outside of me, herself and Gaburick—it would come to an end. I asked why the blanket of secrecy from the start—but never received an answer. Almost 9 months later, when an e-mail that I had accidentally sent out to a third-party was brought to the forefront, Gaburick was untruthful in telling the source involved that I was recently hired to produce the TNA announcers.
2. John Gaburick told me sometime in January/February that at a recent TV taping, he DID INDEED tell Spike representative Scott Fishman, that I was working with TNA as a consultant. He even went as far as to tell me that Scott “was cool” with it. Therefore, the story that Spike just found out about my involvement with TNA merely weeks ago, which caused them to not renew their TNA contract, is an ABSOLUTE MISTRUTH. Spike knew of my TNA presence some 6-plus months prior.
3. YES, I am 100% GUILTY of trying to work that said source who received the e-mail, in an effort to protect the wishes of my employer. I regret even agreeing to be dishonest, deceitful and untruthful from the beginning, but the TRUTH is that I needed the income, so I agreed to the verbal restraints that were dictated to me from the start. I regret that now. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have never accepted the job under those circumstances being that my ability to be honest and truthful with family and friends was taken from me.
I hope that clears up many of the rumors that have surrounded me as of late. I take full responsibility for LYING to protect the wishes of my former company, but that is the extent of my responsibility. If I could do it all over again, I would have turned down the job under those guidelines, regardless of the financials involved.
There is much more to this story, but I choose to lay it out one step at a time due to the intricacies of the situation. I just feel it is VITAL at this time to, again, get this point across—if John Gaburick did indeed tell me the truth—that he informed Spike representative Scott Fishman of my working relationship with TNA back at the beginning of the year—then SPIKE TV HAD FULL KNOWLEDGE THAT I WAS WORKING WITH TNA OVER SIX MONTHS AGO.
In going forward, my focus becomes 100% on my website pyroandballyhoo.com, and those who choose to go along with me on my journey. In addition to that, there are a couple of projects I’m currently working on and just wanted to share with you briefly.
-I am in talks to further develop a script that my son Will and I wrote about a year ago called Belle of the Brawl – the premise of the show involves a fictional wrestling company owned and operated by a woman.
- Also, I plan on writing the third installment of my wrestling trilogy series that will go into detail concerning my 10 year run with TNA from start to finish. The title of the book is Total Non-Stop Agony, and the plans are to release it digitally through pyroandballyhoo.com.
In conclusion, after 20 years of dedicating my blood, sweat and tears to three major wrestling organizations, without ever holding anything back, and always delivering the best product I possibly could, I think it’s fair to say that that portion of my life has officially come to an end…
…or has it???
Peace,
Vince Russo

Paul Heyman talks about his flirtation with TNA:
In 2010, after Brock Lesnar choked out Shane Carwin, there was a discussion that I had with TNA that involved Spike TV. Ultimately, because TNA had been trying to get me on the phone from the day I left WWE in 2006 and I never took the phone call. We finally got into a conversation because Spike TV had reached out to make that happen. Ultimately, the story of this is, if I was going to do it, I wanted the Dana White deal. I wanted complete control, I wanted a piece of the company and I wanted the ability to, when the time was right, to take it public. I wanted to do the programming completely different than the way they had been doing it and Spike TV signed off on it. The concept was a very youth-oriented, youth-based, youth-marketed promotion. A complete contrast to the way WWE does things. A complete and utter alternative to WWE at the time. While the ruling family in TNA had no problem with my salary request, my ownership demands, my concepts, etc. etc., they didn’t want to implement as much of a youth-oriented product as I was looking for and I balked at it. I have no regrets about that. At the end of the day, they were happier being a WWE-lite promotion than they were branding themselves something different as TNA. So that was the last flirtation I had with doing my own thing. I do my own thing with my marketing brand and talent agency in New York City called Looking 4 Larry Agency. I’m very proud of the body of work. We have a long list of clients including 2KSports and in the past THQ and EA Sports and a number of different clients. And I get to do my own thing in the mainstream world with a marketing firm right in the heart of New York City. In regard to doing my own thing in sports entertainment, I kinda do my own thing now with Brock Lesnar and I’m very happy doing it. Running a whole show is a 24/7 and 365 commitment, and you would need an enormous amount of financing and very strong distribution set up front to get me to the table to even consider such a task. Otherwise, it’s doomed to fail.
WWE-lite is a perfect way to describe TNA.

So I just looked at the TNA YouTube page & there's a vid of a guy who's not Don West, doing his best Don West impression, selling a new limited edition item.
Only 86 have been made. It's a plaque like thing of Dixie Carter getting put through a table. It includes a pic of Bubba holding the table, a pic of Dixie going through the table, a small tiny piece of the mat canvas & a small tiny piece of the "exact table used".
This bozo said "I've seen memorabilia stores sell things like this that go upwards of $1000, but on ShopTNA.com it can be yours..........for $199.99!"
So, by all accounts, TNA wants to sell 86 of these. Meaning they hope to make a little over $17,000 on this.
My question, how many of these do you think they'll actually sell?
