Walgreens currently has 100 multivitamins, which are essentially Men's One-a-Day, for $7.49. Buy one get one 1/2 off. So almost seven months worth of multivitamins for $12 with tax. If you really want to get nuts, 200 are $12.49. Same deal. I highly recommend it. No neon piss, just health. www.mensfitness.com/nutrition/supplements/supplements-every-guy-needs

I'm starting to feel like a machine. My appointment was cancelled, so I had two trips to the gym, 1 1/2 hours in the yard, and demo'd a bedroom for my friend.
Only recent change has been dropping to 1,400 calories, plus whatever the workout burns. I'm usually under the combined amount. The previous week was kind of a waste, so this one is starting strong!

wow. Congrats. Your discipline is really impressive. Wish I had a medal to give ya, cause you sure must have a muscular, toned chest to pin it on!

When the counter girl at the club checks your account, double takes at the picture, and says "damn, have you lost weight?!?"

I don't know if this is the healthiest thing for the mind, but it's on point.

I definitely don't mean that from a sales standpoint. It means be the bigger man. Amazing Red is KS size, so he has to do something.

So I hit a plateau a couple weeks ago. I was doing many of the same things, but not losing weight. Without getting too descriptive, I was also eating about thirty grams of fiber per day with little results. We happened to be working with a gym and I talked to a trainer. I found out I wasn't consuming enough calories. When I really got going, many of the hunger strikes that have plagued me my entire life went away. I was also eating all healthy, filling foods. I got to a point where I was almost forcing myself to eat to get to a certain amount of food. My baseline was 1400 calories, plus whatever I burned from my workout. It worked great from the start, but that approach had a shelf life.
She put me on a body comp machine. It was outstanding information. My current body structure requires 1700 calories to exist. My body started protecting itself through storage. These are all things I knew about, but crazy to experience. At no time did I feel like I was starving myself or even uncomfortable. Basically, it was a nice start. Now it's time to shake things up.
I'm going to roll with a 2100 calorie diet regardless of that days workout. I'm going to shift away from 80/20 cardio to 80/20 weights. Three, twelve rep sets. The main reason I'm sharing is because this is an incredibly common issue with starting out. It shows you don't know anything until you actually do it. I've been reading about it for years.

Finished the packer 5k this morning and did an 8k last week. I'm no cross country athlete buy these are still small enough to be fun and long enough to make it feel like you accomplished something. 4 or 5 per year is my goal and the money usually goes to some cause.

Ten pounds and one World Series Championship later, it's time come Wednesday. Who is coming with me?

Ha, I'm up to 223 from 213 at beginning of the summer.
The CPA studying is unhealthy. I've been running my ass off 4 miles but it's ruined by the nervous eating when studying.
I'M IN.

It's time for me to get to 180. It's more health than weight, but I can do it.

Do you moonlight at the suicide prevention hotline on weekends too? I bought a SodaStream and now make my own bubble water. It's a piss poor replacement for delicious carbonated beverages but I must compromise. The saddest part of dramatically cut down beer consumption are all the skunked IPAs I have. Just sitting rotting away. I have no idea what to do with them.
