How are the recent results? Heartburn has been in check - sleeping better almost every night - don't snack during the day - increased libido - craving chocolate at night. Don't see a lot of downside here.

So basically Bragg seems to be a really, really good thing except when it kills you like in Kirkwood's case. Still pretty good odds though.

We're going to find out Jerry Reinsdorf owns Bragg.

I am not sleeping any better, but that has more to do with my old guy prostate/bladder issues. I wake up 3 or 4x/night to pee. Damn the back side of 60 is a hoot! I think I do have more energy during the day though. Friday will be a good test of that...playing 18 in the morning, then walking 18 or more in the pm watching the pros.
Totally agree on hepa air filters and carbon monoxide detectors.

Still feeling great. Got my bench back up to 210 today. I had taken damn near 9 months off of the gym so I have been building back up the last 5 weeks.

If y'all want to send me some money for more or less saving your lives, I wouldn't be opposed to it. Thanks.

I threw my shot of Bragg's into my morning shake this morning. MUCH EASIER to consume. Previously I had mixed it in ice water and chugged it.

I didn't pack any for New Orleans. I should know better after taking it all this week.

You could have just scooped some runoff up off the streets or sidewalks there. Probably a similar smell and taste.

Yea, I don't think I have a future New Orleans trip planned anytime soon. There were indeed many mystery puddles, smells and streams on liquid on the pavement.

Checking in. How's everyone doing?
I don't notice an impact from the ACV anymore, but I think it's just settled in my system.
I've been hitting the elliptical to get my body used to working out again. Today was a 155 heart rate for 35 minutes. Boring as hell, and I need to get some earbuds. But I'm getting a decent workout, and I'm not dead for two days. Need to crawl before I start running again.
MyFitnessPal has definitely helped leveling out nutrition outside of calories and fat. Managing things like carbs, sodium, vitamins, etc. throughout the day.
I've been using fresh lemons to drop in the Tito's and water. Combine that with a reduction of sodium and improved sleep, and my eyes don't quite look like Taker in 1991. If I eliminate the Tito's from the equation, it will only get better.

Cardio is down to maybe 4-5 miles per week. Once it warms up enough to run with keshette I will probably kick it up to 10-12 per week though I am getting good cardio at work and home just doing stuff. Felt good in the gym after being back after it for 6 weeks. Bench was up to 215 which is just a huge and stupid mental block for me. Other than the bench maxing I don't screw around in there. Total body lift in 45 or so minutes and I am out. I have found that less is more. I only go 2 days a week. I used to do 1.5 hours 5 days per week and am in better shape and feel better now.

"Why wouldn't I go to the gym today?" That thought crossed my mind about noon today. I couldn't tell you the last time I felt that way. I need to keep this natural flow of endorphins and energy going.

Went to the gym today to lift for the 1st time in a while. I've been to do cardio but was too lazy to lift.
Yowza I'm outta shape. I can outrun (ish) trouble but I certainly can't outpunch or outkick it.

I'm at 210 from 225. Still a long way to go. I've recalculated my end goal to 175, but don't have a set timetable. I'm going to start shifting to weights from strictly cardio. I don't care about gaining good weight. It's simply stunning what happens when you don't drink. The weight starts falling off. Interested in having more of The Rock in your life? fortune.com/2016/05/02/dwayne-johnson-the-rock-clock-app/As far as apps go, I can't stress enough how awesome MyFitnessPal is for food intake. The Apple Crack is a huge help as well. I didn't take it from Friday to Sunday when I was gone last weekend. I noticed the benefits on Monday like I'd never taken it. Definitely has value.

I feel like I have cut up a little bit since getting on the apple wagon. Its blowing my mind how less is more. 2 lifts per week and 1-2 jogs per week seems to be a perfect balance. I used to run 20 miles per week and lift 4-5 times. This is much better.

Yesterday, I walked 18 holes, then biked 30 miles at an avg speed of 13 mph. I can't outrun, outkick or outpunch a kid, but I'm in for the golf/bike biathlon.

While I've stayed dry, the results haven't been what I had hoped. It's time to kick up the workouts. Today was the first real test to the minimum thirty day alcohol break. I'm working at a sports bar, and even my co-worker was knocking down drinks at lunch. It was tempting, especially with some of the happenings today. But I really want to see what my exact diet, minus booze, will net.
