Only thing I worry about is, yes, I actually want Mauro, Graves & if we must, have Lawler with them (heel Lawler is exponentially better than face Lawler), but with Smackdown being live now, that means Vince might be going to these shows. And he'll be in Mauro's ear telling him what to say.
As of now, he doesn't go to SD, so it's pretty much all Mauro doing his own commentary, which is awesome.
Anything that gets Byron Saxton off of 5 hours of commentary each week.

It's as if WWE chooses who is in their movies by using the Royal Rumble tumbler.
WWE announced Friday that the company's movie studio is teaming up with Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions to produce The Marine 5: Battleground. The film will once again star The Miz but this time will also feature Maryse, Naomi, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, and Bo Dallas. That's right... The Social Outcasts will soon be film stars.
According to the description, this installment - which is to be directed by James Nunn and written by Ed and Rory McHenry - will feature Miz's character of ex-U.S. Marine Jake Carter working as an EMT. After responding to an emergency call, Carter must save an injured man from a bloodthirsty biker gang.
This is the fifth film in the Marine franchise and the third starring The Miz. The original, starring John Cena, was released in theaters in 2006. Making $22.1 million on a $15 million budget, the film was WWE Studios' most profitable project until 2013's The Call, starring Halle Berry.
The Miz took the helm of the series in 2012 when Randy Orton, who had been cast as the lead of The Marine 3: Homefront, was forced to drop out due to a real-life bad conduct discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps. The Marine 5: Battleground is scheduled to start filming on May 31. So far, there's no word as to how many shows the WWE superstars will have to miss.

That tweet from Pabst is pretty damn good. haha
Also, the Social Outcasts yucking it up about being movie stars could be kinda humorous.

NoDQ.com > WWE > Paul London: "WWE Is A Horrible Place To Work" Posted by Brad Davis on 05/28/2016 at 03:24 PM
Veteran pro wrestler Paul London recently appeared as a guest on the Pancakes And Powerslams Podcast and spoke candidly about his time in WWE. Below are some of the highlights from the interview.
On getting heat for “stealing” someone’s move:
"I remember we were working I think Matt [Hardy] and Shannon [Moore] in New York, and I decided that we could start doing something where Brian [Kendrick] is on all fours, and I run, jump off his back, and do a Shooting Star [Press] off his back. So I started doing that in the matches, and it was getting really good reactions, how we were using them. And I remember [Billy] Kidman coming up to me, and he said, ‘Hey man! You’re gonna steal my move every night?! You’re gonna keep stealing my move every night?!’ I just looked at him and said, ‘Do you do a running Shooting Star off the back?’ He goes, ‘uh… well no, but…’ I go, ‘Well… yeah.’ Brian came up to me and was like, ‘Man, what is wrong with you?! You don’t talk to somebody like that! If I was him, I would’ve slapped you!’ Well, it was kind of a dickhead thing to do to come to me and act like he owns every variation of the move when he can’t even do it that well himself."
On his title run with Brian Kendrick lasting nearly a year:
"We had really good chemistry with MNM, we always had good matches with them. They’d kind of given up with these other projects that they were throwing at us, like the Shane Twins, whoever those guys were, The Gemini. They were throwing all these teams and really hoping that we would erupt into something to become like the new Legion of Doom for them. That was their precedence for tag teams, the Legion of Doom. Every time, they compared to them. What about your TLC phase? You always go back to your LOD days, which was amazing, but they would continually express their disinterest in the tag team division. So needless to say, eventually when they realized that all these horrible projects of theirs were terrible, it was almost like they ran out of options, [and saw] what we could do with MNM. We just had really good chemistry with them."
On which WWE Hall of Famer “lost of his respect”:
"Ted DiBiase, Sr. pretty much lost all of our respect in a matter of seconds. We were sitting in the catering section, everyone had pretty much finished up eating and we were wrapping up eating as well. Million Dollar Man walks in there, and he pulls us aside, well he pulls them aside really, MNM, because I think we were wrestling again the night as a build-up match for the inevitable pay per view championship match. So we were kinda throwing around some ideas for that night, and Teddy walks in there, pulls them aside and says ‘I just want to clarify the decision to [switch] the titles is because Joey has this [injury] issue. It’s not because of these guys; definitely not because of anything that these guys have done.’ He kinda just threw that at us, in our face. It was a really backhanded thing to do. It was just flat out rude. Brian got up, and I think he was about to give The Million Dollar Man Sliced Bread #3, and I had to intercept and walk him outside."
On WWE being a ‘horrible place to work':
"When you work there, you eat so much crap. It’s like middle school all over again when you work there, on any level that you’re at. I don’t care if you’re the megastar or the opening guy, corporate office guy, whatever. At some point in your tenure there, you’re gonna be treated like garbage, absolute garbage. And like less of a human being, like the stuff you wipe off of your shoe that you stepped in by accident. And you’re gonna be treated like that constantly. It’s a constant mental hazing. It’s disgusting. It’s a horrible, horrible place to work, absolutely awful place to work. So, it’s not good for human beings of any nature. It was just things that would numb you to life working there."

They're bringing in Eddie Guerrero's kid as Daughter of Gooker.
Apparently someone has been watching Lucha Underground and liked Son of Havoc and are changing to a female.

Have you seen the Cena tweet about the jorts with Ellen's face on them & they're bedazzled? He said he's a "man of his word" & will absolutely wear them when he returns.
I loved the last Cena run with the US Open, please don't make me hate him again WWE. Looks like it'll be that way. All for some stupid publicity on the Ellen Show? Seriously?
If he wears them, I hope someone, anyone, puts a brutal beating on him.

Don't buy this list at all. Someone just made a list & posted it and news sites want clicks. Sort of expected more in the case of wrestlezone.
This pretty much leaves American Alpha & Asuka in NXT. Not to mention it's been confirmed there will be two World Champs, so Reigns appearing on both shows makes zero sense. And also why have two separate women's rosters? And tag champs only on one show? Because that worked out so well to start last time?
Whoever put that list together should've done a much better job. It's like they went through the Wikipedia page for the WWE/NXT roster, closed their eyes & pointed to a name.

That's a mistake.

Take it for what it's worth, but Meltzer has said multiple times that the plan (of course that could change 80 times before the draft) is for Roman Reigns to be champion on Raw & John Cena to be champion on SD. He said they already have a plan to get there too.
I think it makes more sense to have 2 champions. You can make more main event stars that way & draw more crowds. I get John Cena himself is a draw, but you can only have feuds without titles main eventing a brand for so long. Reigns can't feud with 2-3 guys over the title every month.

That's an awful idea.
Please don't let that happen.
Your 3 main champions (WWE Heavyweight/Women's/Tag Team) should float between shows.

Granted I think they're doing this split too early & if they are going to do 2 World champs, I think it's too early, especially since they made a big deal out of making a sole champion back in 2013, only 3 years ago.
However, I know it wasn't overly popular, but I liked the 2 sets of champs, as dumb as that sounds I know. It made Cena, Batista, Orton, Brock (although he was going already as the Undisputed champ), allowed guys like Eddie, Benoit, Mysterio title runs. Same with the tag teams on SD (chalk that one up to Heyman booking in 2002-2003). Women were primarily on one brand on RAW & then Torrie/Sable did bikini stuff on SD.
I prefer 2 champs if they're doing a split, but I'm fine if there's 1. It just would seem the whole "you're fighting to be champion" mindset would get sort of put on the backburner & it turns into "fighting to be champion.....just until the champ is done with his feud on the other brand" first. Can you really devote 3-4 months to build a feud for the title & then the other show you just fill time with an "I hate you" "I hate you more" feud?

Whoever made that list doesn't want to see black wrestlers on Monday nights apparently. Unless you count D-Von.

Fuckin' Vince NoDQ.com > WWE > McMahon-Goldberg Heat Prevented Previous Deals Posted by Brad Davis on 06/02/2016 at 01:59 PM Some new details are coming out about Bill Goldberg's deal with 2K Sports for the upcoming WWE 2K17 video game. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that they first tried to sign Goldberg for previous games, but it was none other than WWE Chairman Vince McMahon who put a stop to that. Goldberg didn't leave WWE on good terms back in 2004. Meltzer reports that the split left McMahon so negative on the former World Heavyweight Champion that when WWE was in talks to sign UFC's Mike Goldberg as an announcer, McMahon wanted him to change his name for that reason. The original plan for Goldberg's arrival in WWE was for him to work a series of three matches against The Rock, but those plans changed to what we ended up seeing on WWE TV when Rock's movie career took off. As previously noted, WWE's Goldberg DVD garnered better sales than the company expected, which could have lead to Vince McMahon signing off on him being included in 2K17.

Brock Lesnar vs TBD is the CO-MAIN EVENT OF UFC 200 ON JULY 9TH!!
Not sure what this means of him in the WWE.

I've read Josh Barnett is campaigning hard for the fight (which they could build very well), Mark Hunt & Todd Duffee.
So it looks like he'll be fighting a Top 10-15 guy.
