Had no idea where to put this, but my Black Friday stuff from WWE came today. Got a Mania hoodie, NXT Brooklyn shirt, Dudley's Blu ray, History of US title Blu ray, Attitude Era Vol 3 DVD, history of Hardcore title DVD and you bet your ass I bought a $2 Ready Willing & Gable rally towel. Grand total was $45. Ain't bad at all.
Point of this post was to highly suggest checking out the Attitude Era Vol 3 DVD. It's all dark matches, house show matches & matches from foreign countries. ZERO COMMENTARY. Currently watching The Rock, DLo, Kama & Faarooq vs Austin, Taker, Cactus & Terry Funk. Insanely random. Corey Graves hosts it. If you can find it cheap, check it out.
Also that Hardcore title DVD rules. Steve Blackman & Crash Holly matches and moments aplenty!

You know who understands small business in 2017 America? A seventy-year-old white woman who built her company on destroying her employees with the assistance of a mentally ill husband. Let's do this thing, USA....USA......USA....

Mickie James signed a deal with WWE and will join Smackdown next month.

They also signed Kimber Lee, Heidi Lovelace, Nixon Newell & Evie. 4 very solid women wrestlers. With the exception of a few, they have a real solid roster of women in NXT. They just have to do stuff with them instead of feeding them to Asuka.
The Mickie signing is awesome, especially for SD. She can help girls like Carmella & especially working with Alexa will be cool to watch.

- According to today's Wrestling Observer Daily Update, there was a change in WWE creative when Tom Casiello was let go. Casiello was the managing lead writer, who oversaw the Raw & SmackDown writing teams. It's noteworthy that he was a key person who was very influential in the push of the women wrestlers of late.

Apparently they are using his old name too, which sort of makes no sense. Let's say he does get to the main roster (hopefully, he deserves it), you can't market KO merch for him because of Owens.
Hope there's a name change, as he wasn't in NXT super long and in all honesty, it was a silly name to begin with.
Happy he's back though.

I just saw pieces of his last match. Unless they put a shirt on him KO style, this won't go well.

Haven't been a fan of Hero in a while.
He's a smart guy and works good, but he looks like shit.

I've always been a fan of Hero, but I'd be lying out my ass if I said his appearance wasn't an eye sore. At least don't wear the tiny trunks, change it up.
That said, he still moves & works like he did when he was thin. So I don't think that takes away from it.
But the reason for him being released before was because of his conditioning, but they've had a change of heart on having a certain look (some recent NXT signings & most notably Kevin Owens).

Holy shit. I was about to do a bit about Hero doing a Buddy Rose gimmick. I've never really looked at the "Blow Away" gimmick as an adult. Think about it.

WWE will soon be crowning the promotion's first ever United Kingdom Champion.
It was announced at a press conference in London today that WWE would be holding a two-day tournament that will air live on the Network to determine the first UK Champion. The tournament will feature 16 wrestlers and will be held at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England on January 14th and 15th.
Triple H made the announcement at the press conference and was joined by Michael Cole, William Regal, and Finn Balor. It was also revealed that former ROH star and behind-the-scenes talent Nigel McGuinness would be joining WWE to call the action alongside Cole and Regal. Triple H cited the move as the next chapter in WWE's talent development and content strategy. He said that they have spent the better part of the year working with promotions like PROGRESS, Revolution Pro Wrestling, ICW, and OTT to find the best talent in the region. The UK's wrestling scene has exploded in the last few years while featuring some of the best talent in the world. Competitors for the 16-team tournament include Trent Seven, Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, Wolfgang, Tyson T-Bone, Tucker, Jordan Devlin, Roy Johnson, Joseph Conners, HC Dyer, Jack Starz, Sam Gradwell, James Drake, Tyson T. Bone, Dan Moloney, Chris Tyler, Saxon Huxley, Ringo Ryan and Tiger Ali. Two of the competitors will be alternates.
Really like this idea. WWE is going all out on UK talent for this and having Regal/Nigel on the call with Cole (I get it why he's there) is incredibly smart. Good for Nigel to getting to WWE. It's cool new content you can put on the Network.

Michael Cole said during the press conference for it regarding Nigel, "I've had my eye on him for a couple of years now & I finally got him here."
Wait, so we're to believe Michael fucking Cole was the person who brought in Nigel? And not only that, but Cole has had his eyes on Nigel for just a "couple of years"? So after his in ring career ended?
Get. The. Fuck. Out. Of. Here.
I'm thrilled Nigel will be involved don't get me wrong, but to think it was Cole who brought him in. In all sincerity, go fuck yourself.

Devils advocate: Maybe Cole meant he has wanted Nigel to come in as an announcer for the past couple years.

Maybe, but saying Michael Cole can fuck off is so much better haha.
I just have a hard time seeing Cole watch Ring of Honor in his free time, scouting. He's one of the biggest guys in the WWE bubble.

Brock has been suspended for 1 year and fined $250,000 for getting popped at UFC 200. The suspension means nothing, seeing as he wasn't going to fight in the UFC again anyway (at the very least not in a year).

Show looking the slimmest I've ever seen him. When he wrestles Shaq at Mania this year, he's going to look like a cruiserweight compared to The Big Aristotle!
