There's at least one WWE HOF'er that could arrange that.

I'm totally guessing on Angle. My guess is they told him he can never be cleared by WWE to wrestle. So they are getting him in the fold for the HOF and a training gig. Possibly work the indy scene as a bonus.

Yeah I can't help but go into fantasy booker mode now. Truly hope he wrestles again for them. He's still got some matches left in the tank, so why not have them for WWE & not some random indy promotion?
Honestly, put him in a match with Rusev at WrestleMania, that's the biggest no brainer there is.
Then make him a mentor for American Alpha, drive people to SD. He doesn't have to wrestle necessarily, but have him at least as an on screen character. His charisma & talent is too good not to be used on TV.

I don't know what Insane Championship Wrestling is but rumors are that WWE is buying them and airing them on the Network.
I'm kinda sick of WWE to be honest.
Monopolistic fucksticks.

Maybe that's where the UK championship will be defended.

It's not, it's a hugely popular UK promotion.
Also just read that Beth Phoenix is the rumored female for the HOF this year. Not sure I agree with that. She was a really good wrestler, but I don't think Beth is HOF worthy this soon. There's quite a few other ladies who deserve it more.

Victoria should be in before Beth Phoenix.

Beth was a really good wrestler who was stuck primarily wrestling models. She was a woman wrestler in a divas era, which is unfortunate, but true.
For what she did in women's wrestling internationally, Bull Nakano is another good option.

I think Beth Phoenix benefited from being in the Diva era. It made her different. She would be a top girl but not that big of a deal now.

Today is the 25th Anniversary of arguably the greatest Royal Rumble in history. I was going to do a Ranking list like I had done for Mania, Summerslam & Survivor Series, but never really had the time to devote to it, maybe next year, but figured it was worth mentioning. Go watch the show again if you haven't in a while. THE greatest commentary top to bottom on a 3 hour PPV by Monsoon & Heenan. There's no argument there. Looking at the rest of the card, it doesn't seem special at all, rather weak, but the commentary actually made you interested in (almost) every match.
-The New Foundation vs The Orient Express -The Mountie vs Roddy Piper for the IC Title -The Beverly Brothers vs The Bushwhackers (this match was straight garbage, no commentary could save this) -The Legion of Doom vs The Natural Disasters for the Tag Titles
Then the Rumble, 16 current WWE Hall of Famers (Dibiase, Flair, HBK, Tito, Tornado, Valentine, Volkoff, Bossman, Piper, Roberts, Duggan, Snuka, Savage, Mustafa, Hogan & Slaughter) were in it, Flair's performance was one for the ages. The post match promo was brilliant. The crowd turned on Hogan after the match (which makes me happy). Heenan going crazy on commentary for actually being right. One of the few times the heels got to celebrate.
Figured it was worth mentioning. At least give the Rumble a watch again for the Flair story.

I'm following Linda's hearing on Twitter. I still can't believe that's happening. I'm waiting for a crazy Senator to yell like Mr. Costanza in the Seinfeld finale "How can you keep pushing Roman Reigns?!?!"

Starting to wonder if Shaq is still involved in the Wrestlemania plans. Seems like there's a Big Show vs Strowman lean lately.

I think it's still Shaq/Show. They've got time, plus they aren't going to build Show/Strowman for 3 months.
In regards to the Rumble there's 14 Raw guys announced (including Taker) & only 8 Smackdown guys. That leaves 8 people left. I'm assuming we get a legend or two (Sid maybe because it's in the Alamo Dome where he main evented with Shawn?), maybe a few NXT guys (Samoa Joe possibly? Tye Dillinger hopefully), then I think we'll see one or two of the UK Tournament guys.
Almost more interested in who the other 8 people will be than the Rumble itself and I'm super interested in the Rumble.

Dillinger not coming out at number 10 is just a missed opportunity.
The crowd will be chanting 10 right after number 9 enters.

It's the most obvious choice ever. Then again, if they choose not to do it, then you better put someone like Miz in at #10 just to get more heat on him.

Anything other than a full on heel Reigns vs Undertaker will be a disaster.

Wow reading those other proposed matches, I just got a lot less excited for Mania. I understand that it's the 2 woman feuds on Raw, but Nia Jax in a Mania match for the title shouldn't happen yet. She's nowhere near ready. Plus she's incredibly boring.
Shane vs AJ? I'm sorry, but I don't want to see that at all. We got our Shane Mania moment from last year, I really don't care to see him in a spotfest another year. And you're wasting AJ.
Cena vs Joe would be honestly great, but we all know the track record, Cena is going over (ask Rusev & Wyatt). Which he shouldn't.
I want a heel Reigns building to the show, I don't want a post match heel turn or during the match. That said, regardless of what happens, I don't want to see this match.

So I highly suggest watching all the Dean Ambrose parts of the Total Divas finale. I was laughing my ass off. Renee brings him to meet her parents in Canada, when her mom comes to the door he hands her flowers & beer. Then an incredibly fake staged thing where a guy steals Renee's hat at dinner & Ambrose chases him down and forces him to admit to the camera that he's a drunk asshole, which is followed up by him going to do shots with Renee's mom. He also is left sitting outside a store while her & her mom shops and he starts doing karate, playing drums, tripping over benches, etc. Dude is a crazy person & it's great.
I can't stand the show itself as it's so incredibly phony (Lana pouting because RuRu didn't want to rent a $10,000 flower arch for the wedding (which they ultimately get). Riveting stuff), but Rusev & Ambrose are hilarious. And all the girls are usually wearing next to nothing, so that's a plus.
