He isn't that old 43-44ish. I like the long beard and the slimmer look. It will be weird to see him in the ring this light on his feet.

When he wrestled Rollins randomly a few weeks back on Raw, I can't help but worry when I see a guy his size with skinny legs. I get bad flashbacks to Sid from 2001.
Something tells me he won't be doing double axe handles off the top onto Shaq at Mania (at least I hope not), so that's good at least.
Wonder how skinny he was when he started in WCW in 95 compared to now?

The Shaq match doesn't need such a spot either. But I would be hiding behind Bucky Chris like I did during the Shane spot if he tried it.

The yearly Future Endeavor video has been posted. Love that this guy has done these since 2008.

As soon as I saw Peter Rosenberg as a host, I immediately said no thank you. Not a fan of these radio hosts getting WWE gigs recently.
Just put Cathy Kelley (who I'm sure helped get Rosenberg & her pal Sam Roberts on the pre-shows) on the shows. Use her as another Renee Young.

First 2 names for the WWE Hall of Fame have leaked. {WWE Hall of Famers} Rick Rude and DDP are scheduled to go in this year.

Finally! The fact that it took until 2017 to put Rude in is ridiculous. You could make an argument for DDP being put in even without his wrestling career. Everything he's done not only for Hall & Jake, but for wrestlers & their health. Another deserving inductee.
Now put Rick Martel in & I'll be happy. I also wonder what pointless celebrity will make it in this year? They're running out of random celebrities. Hell put in Burt Reynolds. He had a backstage promo with HBK at Mania 10. Celebs have been put in for much less!
Also, I'd say give Chris Nowinski the Warrior Award, but I'm not sure WWE would want to even mention concussions or the research he's done. It'd put them in a bad light seeing how long it took them to realize how bad brain trauma is in wrestling.

The first two are great. I don't get that upset about the celebrity deal. It's a work and it's a show. No way they give Nowinski that stage. Every sports billionaire is frightened by him. This would give some legitimacy.

RIP Rex King (who was one half of Well Dunn (Timothy Well) in the WWF from 93-95), who passed away yesterday at the age of 55 due to kidney failure. Steve Doll (Steven Dunn), who was the other half, passed away in 2009. They were pretty much a jobber tag team that was managed by Harvey Wippleman. Both were in the 95 Rumble if you forgot about the team. They also fought Bret & Owen in 93, in the match above.
His family set up a gofundme page to help with funeral costs.
Chris Jericho paid the entire $2,500 on the page. As if Jericho couldn't be any cooler.

Although the guys who just shut down the site and it's announced "it's taken care of" is cooler, really fucking cool. I remember thinking Well Dunn had a chance because of their previous runs. Haha. Be well, Rex.

Are they actually confirmed? I listened to Wrestling Observer Live 2 days ago & Bryan Alvarez was the one who said it was rumored to be those guys. Meltzer wasn't even on the show. I haven't listened to any radio shows since, so he could've very well confirmed it himself, but I take everything Alvarez says with a grain of salt, because he usually just says "rumors are" which covers his ass.
That said, I'm all for these guys getting the nod if true. More current guys like Christian & Regal will draw in more newer viewers & both are equally deserving IMO. While Christian didn't have an Edge-like run, he still is a huge part of the tag division & carried every single title in the company at some point (World Champ a few times, but not WWE Champ). Regal I've always been a huge fan of since 1994 & he's the rare instance where he tweaked his character just enough to keep it fresh.
Quake & Typhoon as a team going in is weird as they just held the titles twice. Typhoon sadly is more remembered for falling through a wall. I think Quake deserves it more.
IRS should absolutely be inducted by Bray & Bo. Fuck kayfabe & let them induct their father.

NoDQ.com > WWE > Lesnar vs. Goldberg Closing WrestleMania Posted by Steve Carrier on 01/13/2017 at 06:31 PM
WWE is now advertised to appear at all the RAW television events starting this Monday all the way up until the February 27th show, which is the go-home shot to the WWE Fastlane event.
Brock is not advertised for the February 13th RAW in Las Vegas because he’s currently serving a suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for failing drug tests related to his fight with Mark Hunt at UFC 200. The company wants to have a strong build for his rumored match against Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania.
Speaking of WrestleMania, we have been told that Brock vs. Goldberg will be the main event that closes the show.

Remember when Rock/Hogan should've gone on last at WM18 instead of being in the middle? Yeah, I feel the exact OPPOSITE with this match.
Sure Survivor Series was a very enjoyable shock, sure it made me slightly look forward to this match more. But honestly, what can you do to build this match into being a main event aside from just brawling? What's Brock going to do, spear Goldberg's kid?
Cena vs Taker should main event, however plans for that have apparently been scrapped & Taker is supposed to be facing a Raw roster guy now (not Braun Strowman, thank God).

Maybe Reigns-Taker.
A title match should close Mania.

RIP Superfly
The first wrestling match I ever saw was with Superfly. I was flipping channels and came across WOR tv out of New York. I saw Snuka vs Albano in a cage at MSG. Jimmy went to the top rope, then to the top of the cage and took flight. I was hooked immediately and never looked back. He was my guy.

Daaammmnnn! I like that a lot & honestly never thought I'd see it happen this soon. Quite the HOF headliner!
Now the question is, will he wrestle for them? He can still go, not saying a full schedule by any means, but damn, put him on Smackdown for sure. He was the face of that brand for years, not to mention the guys there could absolutely benefit from him (guys like American Alpha & the interactions with AJ & Daniel Bryan would be cool).
Woodridge will be giddy as hell when he reads this news!
