Almost a year removed from Jey getting popped for a DUI too.
I don't see WWE doing anything about this regarding the tag match Sunday.

Should be some good matches this Sunday at Elimination Chamber. Expecting the WWE title to main event the show, women's tag titles to open the show.

Trevor Lee ACH Rachael Ellering Karen Q (Mae Young Classic girl) 3.0 (tag team from Canada) Samuel Shaw (from TNA a few years back) Jonah Rock Elliot Sexton All are the newest NXT recruits. Thought the Samuel Shaw was a good character until creative screwed it up. Trevor Lee will be great in NXT/205 live.

Corey Graves and Carmella? Huh... Not cool Graves, not cool. I'm reading people online saying none of the blame should be on Mella as she did nothing wrong. Fuck those people. He's a married man who apparently cheated on his wife & she's been sneaking around with a married man. So they're both in the wrong. Commentary will be interesting for the Chamber match tomorrow

DX supposedly getting a Hall of Fame induction this year. Interesting timing with "The One" Billy Gunn in AEW.

Tye Dillinger posted on his IG that he requested (and I assume was granted) his release tonight, ironically on his birthday.
He should end up in AEW. He's way too talented to not be used elsewhere.
Hope he has succes wherever he goes. He's engaged to Peyton Royce so let's not feel too bad for the Perfect 10.

Meh. He had a decent NXT gimmick that got beaten into the ground on Smackdown.
Good luck elsewhere.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that WWE had a different episode of RAW put together sometime last week, one that didn't include any new call ups. A week of ratings continuing to decline, All Elite Wrestling continuing to gain momentum, and the announcement that Undertaker is joining Starrcast 2 on AEW Double Or Nothing weekend, left McMahon feeling "off".
McMahon decided to add some top tier wrestlers to the main roster, so he accessed the pool of available NXT stars and asked them to fly out their best four guys. Meltzer notes that Triple H didn't initially know about the call ups and there was a lack of communication throughout the process.
The RAW match that ultimately saw Bobby Lashley & Lio Rush vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor & new NXT call up, Ricochet, was reportedly set to be Finn Balor vs. Ricochet in a singles match just before the show aired. It's believed that Triple H made the call to switch up the singles match between the two babyface characters because he was concerned about how the crowd would react, and he didn't want either star going over the other after Balor had just won the title and Ricochet had just debuted.
It was also noted that, for the foreseeable future, Ricochet, Black, Gargano, and Ciampa will be performing on WWE NXT, RAW, and SmackDown. The idea is to give each superstar their respective push and be "put over like crazy" in the process.
It will be interesting to see how this translates to NXT's TakeOver special on WrestleMania weekend. It was mentioned that NXT already had storylines and a card laid out for the upcoming TakeOver event but the sudden change of plans may alter that.

If you ever needed proof that Vince doesn't watch anything other than Raw or Smackdown, there it is. Vince has no idea who these guys are.

On the rare occasion he sees someone from NXT, he brings them up because they look like shiny new toys (Heavy Machinery are big, EC3 is an oily muscle dude, Lacey Evans is a blonde with big boobs, Nikki Cross is batshit crazy), then loses interest quickly. Which makes me worry about these new guys in the long run. I just hope when XFL 2.0 gets going, Trips starts taking more control of the main roster.

It's impossible to keep track of who is married/engaged/coupled with each other in the whole WWE/NXT.
They could do a whole other season of Mixed Match Challenge with real life couples

Yeah, I was really hoping that these guys could avoid the main roster for as long as possible. I think Velveteen Dream would be more suited for Raw or Smackdown personally than any of them.

Ciampa and Gargano have been feuding for 2 years and we're called up and are a team again. Commentary did nothing other than say they used to be DIY. They didn't give a backstory at all.
Happy these guys will presumably be getting bigger checks on the main roster, but some fucking continuity in your storylines would be appreciated.

To be fair, aren't Ciampa and Gargano on somewhat good terms now?

In NXT I'd say that both are heels but Johnny doesn't trust him, he wants to, but can't. Even when he was going to go with Ciampa, they had Candice come out and stop him.
We haven't had a reunion. We haven't had the heel Mega Powers handshake.
If you'd never watched NXT, you'd think these two were buddies who hit a quick rough patch but patched things up on the main roster.
The lack of commentary telling us their backstory is annoying and lazy. Makes NXT seem pointless.

Right. They're 2 heels on the same page. At least for now. Are they being portrayed as babayfaces on Raw and Smackdown?

I'd say yes. Their backstage promo with Roode, Gable and The Revival came off as babyfaces. Also facing The Revival and The Bar with hot tags, celebrating on the second rope post match (at least on RAW).
They're being portrayed as babyfaces the past two shows.
Which is funny when you see Ciampa walk out to that killer "No One Will Survive" theme.
