Let's put aside that Torrie is still a smoke show and was my favorite looks wise in the Trish/Stacy/Lita days. She was a pretty bad wrestler & never held a title.
Granted the HOF doesn't mean much for the WWE, but so many more women are deserving. Victoria? Molly Holly? Jazz?
In an era where they've made women the main event and have taken women's wresting seriously, it's a weird choice to go with the poster girl for Playboy, bikini contests, lingerie contests, gravy matches, bra & panties matches, etc.
Beefcake, whatever. He was super over in the late 80s, but he's Hogan's best friend, that's why he was where he was.
These choices suck

Too bad the ongoing concussion lawsuits are keeping some people out.

Too bad the ongoing concussion lawsuits are keeping some people out. Pretty sure that was tossed out and the lawyer was unsuccessful starting it again?

One of the highlights of my referee career was doing a match with Bundy and getting to do the 5 count. Loved it.

PWInsider.com is reporting that Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have turned down “multi-million-dollar deals” to stay with WWE once their contracts expire in the fall. According to company sources, Anderson and Gallows have not been happy with how they’ve been used as of late. The pair have rarely appeared on television and their Botch Club series was abruptly dropped after just one episode. Their impending departures were said to be the backstage talk at Smackdown Live this week.
While it’s possible that things could change between now and late September, the belief is that Anderson and Gallows are already making post-WWE plans.

I don't blame them. They're only on TV when they want to hype a Survivor Series match. And Main Event is with RAW guys so SD guys are really screwed for ring time.
They were super hot coming over from New Japan and they've been really wasted after foolishly being broken up from AJ, then barely interacting with Balor.
Happy they turned down an offer. We all know where they'd be welcomed with open arms.

Yamaguchi-San passed away today. He had suffered a serious stroke in 2017. He was 60.
He was hilarious in the brief time he was with the WWF. The phrase "choppy choppy your pee pee" is legit one of the most memorable lines of the Attitude Era.
Also if you want a good laugh, his comedy during the Oddities vs Kaientai match at Summerslam 98 at MSG was great. The match itself was bad, but the comedy made that a big guilty pleasure.
RIP

The Harlem Heat will be Hall of Fame inductees.
Will Col. Parker have a rope to lead them to the stage?

I'm actually more confused by this one than the Torrie one.
Booker is already in. So they're doing this for Stevie Ray??? Who never wrestled in WWE and also was super sloppy & pretty bad in WCW from 98-00?
Just a weird choice.
Will Ahmed Johnson induct them wearing a suit made out of nothing but knee pads?

Stokely Hathaway from EVOLVE, Robbie E from TNA and Cal Bloom (6'5 son of former Beverly Brother Wayne Bloom) have all signed developmental deals.

I get it. They haven't done it since Summerslam. It makes sense. They just need to have his match when it's dark. Remember how dumb Taker vs Bray's entrances were in the daytime?
I honestly think they'll just do Demon vs Lashley and he wins the title back. He's never beaten Lashley for the IC title, he's only beaten Lio for it. So storyline wise, I get it.

Totally fine with it. They have history and despite Kurt being limited, they could still do a good match. It'd be better than Corbin!! We find out tomorrow and it needs to be Cena, I've talked myself into wanting this over any other match. Kurt doesn't need to wrestle Joe for the US Title. Unless Joe wrestles Cena, in which case I have no fucking clue.

It should be Cena. That would make sense and give him (Kurt, pronouns pal) a proper sendoff. Or a young guy to get the rub. But they needed to start that angle, no pun intended, months ago to get the young guy over. If Riddle comes in after two weeks and retire Kurt "Fucking" Angle, it will be shit on. But Shelton?!?! I love Shelton but he's almost the same age. It's a nice little callback, but not the end for Angle.

Agreed completely with Shelton.
If they had Riddle show up and retire Kurt, that's something he'll always have under his belt and they could strap a rocket to him, but like you said, how quickly will they fizzle on him and have him start losing to Corbin?
Giving a rub to a new name is better in the long run, but they've clearly shown they aren't about the long run, it's all about short term sadly.
Cena vs Kurt is a great end, but post Mania, it means nothing.
