Unpopular Wrestling Opinion Game--
Name 10 things you don’t like or think, that almost everyone else likes or has a different opinion. Here are mine (in no particular order)
1. Colt Cabana is meh.
2. AEW is fine (not God’s gift to wrestling, but glad it exists)
3. I enjoyed the Stone Cold heel turn and run.
4. I was a Christian guy, not Edge.
5. As I look back, I’ve become more ok with Brock Lesnar ending Taker’s streak.
6. Triple H is underrated
7. The American Bad Ass Undertaker may not have had the aura of Deadman Taker, but his promos were better.
8. I don’t like Corey Graves at the broadcast booth but that may be on Vince as much as him.
9. I’m a Stephanie McMahon mark.
10. Dave Meltzer sucks

2. Vince is still relevant
3. Russo is not to blame for WCW and TNA
4. Omega is overrated
5. Bobby Heenan is on my wrestling Mt. Rushmore
6. I like watching Benoit matches
7. I want Attitude-era storylines back; fuck that PC bullshit.
8. Austin was right for not wanting to wrestle Hogan.
9. WWE should do more promos without crowds.
10. Killer Kross and Drew McIntyre will be bigger stars than Roman Reigns.

This is something you'd really have to spend time thinking about, but these are the ones that came to my head.
1. ECW was overrated (there's a couple incredible storylines & all time great WRESTLING matches, but the more I watch it present day, the more I realize how repetitive it was)
2. Hogan did more harm to WCW than he did good
3. Steiner Brothers were a boring tag team from 93-the end of their run as a team
4. Velveteen Dream isn't even ready for the NXT main roster let alone WWE
5. Torrie was hotter than Trish, Lita & Stacy in their primes
6. I never understood the popularity of the Nasty Boys
7. Power & Glory should've gotten a run with the tag titles in 1990, not the Hart Foundation
8. I never want to see Johnny Gargano or Ciampa on RAW or Smackdown ever again
9. D-Von was underrated. Bubba was overrated
10. Jim Cornette Sucks

I agree Hmm...I haven’t watched Dream in a couple of years but I thought he was really solid. Surprised to read that. I see no problem with 5. Yeah I think the caliber of talent in NXT has grown so much that it really makes Dream stand out in a bad way. His entrances are fun, especially at Takeovers, but the age old say "once the bell rings" I lose interest in him.
WCW definitely wouldn't have gotten to the level of success without Hogan, but I was just bored to tears by his wrestling & his promos were just ramblings. Without the Hogan name, Bischoff would've been screwed, no doubt. But Hogan not wanting to lose like ever & when he did lose it was too late to mean anything.
Seeing how bad of a job Vince has done with Ricochet & Cedric, I fear for Gargano & Ciampa.

2. Adults criticizing WWE is as dumb as adults criticizing Sesame Street. It's a kids show. I'm as guilty as anyone.
3. The Black Scorpion angle was awesome.
4. Sid was better than Diesel.
5. Sammy Guevara's vlog is better than BTE.

I don’t think I can wrap my arms around that but for my money, 2000-2005 is my wheelhouse. So many great matches and storytellers running strong in that time period imo. |

And the lows were amongst the very worst things ever to air on TV. |

Going off some other stuff I saw: 11. Biker Taker was cool. Promos were worlds better than his deadman stuff. Entrances were WAY faster. 12. Stephanie - never thought she was hot. First she was chubby forever and then once she got her body in order, everything else on her was fake and she also developed scrunch-face. And then she got handcuffeed that one night (which sounds hot but was anything but) when her chest inexplicably collapsed and I've been weirded out by the whole thing ever since.  |

13. Lucha stuff doesn't really work for me. (Aside from Pentagon & Fenix)
It was my least favorite part of WCW back in the day. I don't know what it is. I need to see faces and emotions I guess. Masks obviously do not allow for that.

14. Most of my unpopular opinions are of wrestlers that I either thought were overrated or meh or whatever.
- Rey Mysterio: basically a midget (until he roided out for a couple years there) was never a fan of flippy dippy stuff in his day. He was also/is a terrible promo. Looked like he was 10 when he unmasked for that terrible group in WCW. Was incensed when he beat Kevin Nash... one of the most unrealistic things I'd ever seen at that point.

At some point he even started to equal Jeff's reckless AF stuff out of the ring.
Version one thru Damascus have all been terrible. He's far from brilliant. He's just weird.
Reby is also bad.
