How about this as a concession - if you draft an established tag team like the ROAD WARRIORS it counts as two picks and you get skipped the next round.

Really only 6 more picks, right? 12 more picks. We'd be picking 36 male wrestlers. 12 of which need to be transitioned to tag teams at some point. Plus I'd have to add an additional 2 picks somewhere (maybe another jobber or manager or announcer) for a grand total of 63 on a roster. 7 picks a day. 9 days. |

More picks/rounds is what I’m fine with. If you choose to draft a tag team, like LOD, then that’s 2 picks back to back and you don’t get another round.
Don’t draft Hawk and 5 rounds later expect Animal to just be there, you know?

You already accounted for 6 tag team picks. This would just add 6 additional picks. Maybe. I don't know. We had 6 tag teams PLUS 24 male wrestlers. If we can't draft tag teams, then we need to draft 12 more guys in order to make the 6 tag teams. |

If we need up going "draft tag teams" route, I think that has to be the rule. I guess this is fine, but we are still going to have to vote on tag teams sometimes. They are just not all as easy and simple as the examples jackref mentions. KS already wants to potentially do something randomone would disagree with. We allowing the Twin Towers? Hollywood Blonds? Evolution? DX? Hart Foundation? Los Guerrero's?

I think if you draft a team like the Hart Foundation or Blonds, you have to have them as a tag team competitor.
If you want Bret, draft him early. If you want the Harts, you’re getting Anvil as your next pick.
Don’t draft the Blonds and then have him as Stone Cold. You have him as Stunning Steve and Flyin Brian

Tell you what, here is a suggestion....
Hold a tag team round on a separate day.
After singles are picked, we know what established tag teams will still be out there. I would say ten singles are picked, then hold the tag draft. That way, you still might have Bobby Eaton, the Hardys, etc. out there to have a tag team.

Say I draft the Bucks as my last pick on one day, that’ll mean my first pick the following day will be burned. I’m all for drafting guys individually if we do choose but teams must be 2 picks. |
