- Tony Khan says he's extremely pleased with his multicultural diverse roster. He says that Kick asS Wrestling searched the world over and brought in the best of the best. Khan said he selected talent from New Japan, NKT UK, NXT, WWE, WWF, AWA, Bob Luce's Chicago promotion, Impact, ROH, AAA, AEW and wherever Lou Thesz is from.
- Khan says the promotion offers a little something for everyone. Old school, new school, super heavyweights, hosses, mixed martial arts trained wrestlers, catch wrestling, legit shooters, technical experts, grapplers, high flyers, speed, agility, SUPER KICK PARTIES, violence, blood & guts......Khan then laughs at the blood & guts mention and says "Well who knows about that one"

- Khan says he's still finalizing deals but as of now he's comfortable revealing the following:
* K.A.W. will have a 2 hour show on Wednesday nights called Unchained. He's not prepared to announce the start date as of yet. He says the show will air on WGN. He also mentioned he's already secured the rights to use Van Halen's Unchained as the theme song.
* Khan says they will also have a 1 hour show on Saturday nights called KickStart Saturday Night. It will air on Channel 44. Once again, he notes that he's secured the rights to use Motley Crue's Kickstart My Heart as the theme song. Khan says the negotiations with the Crue's Tommy Lee were rather long and quite lengthy but in the end they were able to drum out a deal.
- Khan went on to say that the Wednesday night show "Unchained" will take place from the International Amphitheatre. The Saturday night show "KickStart Saturday Night" will take place in the Chicago Coliseum. PPV's will be held at the Chicago Stadium.
Khan said he hopes that once K.A.W. has established itself in the market, he hopes to branch out and possibly do a little touring. He mentions Carthage College, UW Parkside & the Milwaukee Auditorium as possibilities.

- Khan says K.A.W. will have 5 Championships: * Super Heavyweight * Heavyweight * Tag Team * Women's He says the first PPV, which is still unnamed & date unknown, will culminate with crowning Champions in all 5 divisions. Khan said the brackets will be unveiled at a later date and that they will play out in a tournament format on both Unchained & Kickstart, leading up to the PPV. Dave Meltzer then tells Tony that he only mentioned 4 titles. Tony Khan says there's a reason for that. I was saving the best for last..... The 5 Star Strap!!!  |

 Couple tidbits from George Ofman after he listened to the Hood & Holmes Wrestling Show last night on The Score. J. Hood said that the original name for the Cornette stable was going to be KILL THE BUCKS but the network (WGN) nixed those plans. Laurence Holmes reported that Donovan Dijak is dropping his first name and will now simply be known as Dijak.  |

BREAKING NEWS In his Chicago Sun-Times column this morning, Terry Boers wrote that sources have confirmed to him Kick as S Wrestling is on track and expects their first show will air Wednesday Night, April 7th at 7pm on WGN from the International Amphitheatre.  Casey Kasem's wildly popular American Top 40 show just went live on the East Coast, and Casey is breaking news regarding KAW Wrestling. He says he has learned of the first 5 wrestler theme songs. They are as follows: John Silver - Man on the Silver Mountain by Rainbow Bobby Duncum Sr. - Dirty White Boy by Foreigner Chyna - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap by Joan Jett (ACDC cover) Eric Young - Paranoid by Black Sabbath Casey says he needs to go to commercial but in just a bit, he will reveal the 5th song which has shocking ramifications potentially. UPDATECasey is back from break with the following update. He says he has a clip from a couple of hours ago but that the first minute or so has been omitted. Kasem has been told that Skid Row and more specifically Sebastian Bach came out and said that the band will be providing The Young Bucks with their KAW theme song. The Bucks were then shown in the audience. Bach appears to point at them as the clip gets underway.
