Here's a LIVE shot of people already lining up to get inside the International Amphitheatre for tonight's inaugural episode of KAW's UnchainedVery irresponsible. Not a mask in sight. Hmpf. Should change name of event to Unmasked.

When those windows open up the crowd in line is going to look like Sonny Corleone at the toll booth. Won't have to worry about masks after that.

"You've Got Another Thing Comin'" by Judas Priest is blaring from the speakers. Possibly the greatest wrestler in WWE history hits the ring and it's Roman Reigns!!!
"Big Bad John" by Jimmy Dean is next and out comes Big John Studd, Bobby Duncum & Bobby The Brain Heenan.

Studd & Reigns meet at the middle of the ring. Studd dares Roman to body slam him. Roman tries. Roman fails. Studd hits him with a double ax handle to the back. Roman is down. Perhaps Roman has met his match. Studd is a massive man.
Studd & Reigns go back and forth for about 10 minutes. Chops. Stares. Dares. And a little bit of cocaine to be honest.
Finally Reigns hits Studd with a Superman punch. He goes for the pin. Bobby Heenan distracts corrupt Rick Knox on one side of the ring. (The fans count to at least 7 as Roman pins Studd in the middle of the ring)
On the other side of the ring Bobby Duncum is also causing a stir. It's basically a 3 on 1 on Roman at this point. (Which isn't so bad for Paige but definitely not good for Roman.)

Roman hits Studd with a spear. This should be it. Heenan grabs Knox by the leg and starts complaining. It's basically Roman against the world at this point. Out of nowhere, it's David Lee Roth with a ROTH KICK to Bobby Heenan. Roth takes out Heenan but on the other side of the ring, Duncum Sr. takes off his cowboy hat and appears to grab a horeshoe from it and nails Reigns with it. Studd then pins Reigns 1, 2, 3.

Zack Sabre Jr. comes out to Way Cool Jr. by Motley Crue. The ladies love this man. Many of them actually faint due to his extreme good looks. Couple of squirters as well which doesn't seem all that PG-13. Darby Allin comes out next to Lose Yourself.
Sabre Jr. grabs the mic from Brandi Rhodes and wonders, "Was Ringling Brothers here last night and forget one of their clowns?"
Darby immediately gets in Zack's face.
Darby Allin gives Sabre Jr. more than he bargained for but in the end, Zack Sabre Jr. just had more experience.

Lou Thesz vs Antonio Inoki is up next. The world has been waiting on this since their classic 1975 matchup. Lou Thesz almost ended that first match in under 5 minutes and he did so again tonight. Here's the move that almost did it: That only got a 2 (twooooooo) count as Inoki kipped up from it. These two tacticians went on to perform for 20 minutes of technical excellence. Shooting, strong style before strong style was even a thing. Thesz never met a rope break that he didn't take advantage of but in the end Inoki was a bit younger and a bit tougher.

Did the feed go out? Only 3 matches on a major event? The feed was running on "green" energy and featured weekly sale beverages. The Red Bull generator never had a chance.

Tessa Blanchard is beside herself. She's yelling at Rick Knox, she's kicking the ropes, she's pacing rapidly around the ring as Jade Cargill makes her way to the ring.
Jade enters the ring and the two come face to face. Knox calls for the bell. Blanchard turns around to face Knox and starts yelling/asking him why he's calling for the bell. You can hear Blanchard screaming "SHE DOESN'T EVEN WORK HERE!"
With her back to Cargill, Blanchard continues to admonish Knox.
Cargill then applies a double chickenwing, lifts Blanchard high off the mat and then violently slams her face first into the mat. Jade turns her over and covers her. Knox counts to 3. JADE CARGILL HAS DEFEATED TESSA BLANCHARD IN LESS THAN 20 SECONDS!

Jade Cargill is making her way back up the ramp. Meanwhile, Tessa is in the ring having a fit and demanding a microphone. Tony Schiavone hurriedly waddles to the ring. Tony gets in the ring and holds the mic up to Tessa to speak into. (Woodridge approved!) Jade stops at the top of the ramp to watch.
Tessa Blanchard: "She doesn't even work here!" Tony Schiavone: "Well actually Tessa, if check the The Territories Rules slash Rosters slash Regulations slash Updates thread, it's right in there." Tessa gives Tony a death stare. Blanchard then turns to Jade Cargill. Tessa: "You people get everything handed to you on a silver plate, while I get cancelled if I even slightly raise my silver spoon" Jade looks around for a mic. Out comes Mean Gene to hand her one.
Jade: "What do you mean YOU PEOPLE?" Blanchard: "You people, my opponents. Tonight was a perfect example. I had no idea who I was facing. I couldn't prepare. I wasn't able to watch film and make a game plan. But you knew who you were facing the entire time. You had time to scout. To prepare. And you took advantage of it with my back turned. Who do you think you are, Cargo?" Jade: "It's Cargill" Tessa: "It doesn't matter what it is and you don't matter. I guess I'll just have to start making my own opportunities around here"
Jade gives Tessa the bye-girl hand and walks away.

Verne Gagne comes out as Push Comes To Shove blares throughout the entire arena. Tanahashi is out next with Triumph's Fight The Good Fight echoing throughout the Amphitheatre.
The two shake hands before the bell. Which isn't surprising considering they're two of the nicer men this sport has ever known. As if that isn't enough, they're also nearly identical in height, weight, speed and technical prowess. Tanahashi holds the edge as far as aerial stuff while Gagne's advantage will be his experience. They are both two of the more decorated champions that wrestling has ever seen with Gagne having captured 10 AWA World Championships while Tanahashi has won the IWGP title a total of 8 times.

The two hook up. Gagne gets Tanahashi in a headlock which is quickly reversed into a headlock on Gagne. The two continue to trade holds, seemingly trying to one-up each other. Business really begins to pick up at the 20 minute mark when Gagne attempts to deliver a backstabber. But Tanahashi has been there before and knows how to counter that move. He hits Gagne with the Twist & Shout. He follows that up with a Dragon Screw leg whip. Tanahashi goes for the cover. One, Twooooooooooooooo and Gagne kicks out.
They're now both back on their feet. Gagne hits a dropkick out of nowhere. Tanahashi sluggishly gets up and is met with the Gagne Sleeper. This could do it! Tanahashi is losing consciousness. Rick Knox holds Tanahashi's arm up, releases it, and the arm goes limp. Knox checks on him again. And again the arm goes limp. Knox then checks on Tanahashi for a third and presumably last time. This time the arm stays up!

Tanahashi is powering out of the sleeper. He eventually breaks the hold. But Gagne puts the sleeper right back on Tanahashi. This time though, Tanahasi immediately ducks out of the hold and puts a sleeper of his own on Gagne. The Dragon Sleeper!
Gagne is withering. Rick Knox goes to check on him. He lifts the arm up, releases it, and it immediately falls to Gagne's side. Knox raises the arm a second time, releases it, and once again it falls lifelessly to Gagne's side. Knox goes to grab the arm again but just before he does, Tanahashi hits Gagne with a Bridging Dragon Suplex. He covers Gagne and gets the ONE TWO THREE. Tanahashi is your winner at 33:14.
After the match Tanahashi is seen tending to Gagne. He eventually helps Gagne to his feet. Tanahashi then raises Gagne's arm as a show of respect. Just as they started their evening, the two once again shake hands and Tanahashi helps Gagne to the back.
