So "my sources" tell me Bryant has never consumed a sip of alcohol in his life. But Bernstein says he's been too hungover to play twice this year. I'm not letting Rozner off the hook either, because he could have stepped in if this is all bullshit. Which is it? I expect a response to be imminent, from sources. He probably had the allergy induced vertigo that seems to be sweeping the nation and didn't want to talk about it. Dan doesn't know shit about hungover ball. I have seen it once where it has kept a guy out of a game.....the other 400 games I saw probably had multiple players playing hungover. The guy that couldn't play never left the trainers table and coach in the clubhouse. Tmz is more credible and professional than dan these days. He really needs to step away and align his mind.

Bernstein: Didn't Tiger Woods go to sex classes?
TB: Yep. We were there at the same time.

Bernstein might want to slow down on his innuendo.......be it right or wrong. Because if the Score is really going to become WCUB, and if he continues down this path of disparaging Blue Jesus, then I'd say that this may be the one to finally get him launched. I'm not taking it personally because it's about Blue Jesus. But he's either getting really irresponsible, or I'm being lied to by someone. It's easy to disagree with a Bernstein stance, but usually it's not lies. If I'm getting yelled at while someone is making shit up, I'll go from 20% to 0% of time spent on the show. I haven't listened in awhile but it seems as if Dan has clearly been much more irresponsible in the things he accuses peopl eof on air and on twitter. I've lost quite a bit of respect for him over the last couple of years - not that I had much to begin with.

Do I recall correctly that Mac long ago referred to Bernstein as "an odd little man".

He's come a long way from the guy who would wax poetic about Ivan Calderón on a random weekend.
Douchebag.

God has spoken in voice...in the english language...directly to Wilson. Danny better watch out for lightening. Russell is on the speed dial too. He was spoken to within 3 seconds after throwing that amazing superbowl goal line pick.

That exchange between Les and Schuster (last night maybe?) that B&B played in their open was delicious.

Does anyone know the identity of "Terry's Wrestling Guy?" 6'6" 285. I swear I've asked him before but have no idea right now.

I just realized I almost never listen to the show when I'm working from home. I have to be in the car or bored in the office.

What's with the lovefest between Bernstein and David Haugh? I thought B&B hated Haugh? Maybe I mis-remember that.

You know what else pisses me off? We're wasting the last year, on the radio, of Terry. Parrot, blah blah, whatever. Terry is still incredibly entertaining to me when given the chance.

He doesn't care anymore. He rarely, if ever, challenges Dan.
Which is a problem with the whole station. Take Spiegs yesterday. He talks about how he's sick of being tarred because of one afternoon blowhole and he would confront it in transition.
Then tranny comes and the big confrontation was SPIEGS APOLOGIZING TO BERNSTEIN FOR HAVING A NEGATIVE THOUGHT!
The whole station needs an enema. Except Les. He can stay.

I do. It bothers me a bit, because Terry could challenge him. Especially now. What's going to happen? He gets fired? I think Terry's too tired to fight a pud that's going to be right no matter what's said. I've only heard second hand accounts of the Spiegel stuff. Sad. He probably realizes he isn't in a position to challenge the station narrative and the leader. I don't think his show is cooking, and he can't just pick up and move to another market these days. The whole station needs an adult, and an enema. Could Bernstein be so entrenched he could have Rosen fired? I can't imagine advertisers are happy with this latest round of listener blaming. I'm sure many don't even listen, and just have a sales guy show them touch numbers. Hopefully those numbers go down. That's organic change. If they changed the entire schedule, and fired Les, he might not be done. I could see him being like Milton from Office Space. He just keeps showing up.

Les is the only voice that isn't influenced by Bernstein.
Well Mully and Hanley too I guess.

Bernstein wins again.
Aiyana Cristal, the Comcast SportsNet Chicago reporter who was at the center of a social media controversy earlier this year, has left the regional sports network.
“After two years of positive contributions, Aiyana Cristal is no longer part of our on-air team,” a Comcast SportsNet spokesman said in a statement. “We appreciate the hard work and professionalism she brought to her role at CSN and wish her the best.”
Cristal did not respond to requests for comment.
Sources said Comcast SportsNet chose not to renew Cristal’s contract, which was up in early September. The network is believed to be close to hiring two new reporters to replace Cristal and Jen Lada, who resigned to join ESPN in August.
Cristal was the subject of an exchange on Twitter last March between Dan Bernstein and Matt Spiegel, two hosts from CBS Radio sports/talk WSCR AM 670. “I have no rooting interest in her work, but enjoy her giant boobs,” Bernstein tweeted. Spiegel replied: “I am improbably distracted from them by her professional discomfort. It’s a crime.”
Both hosts apologized the next day, but not before their series of tweets went viral and were condemned as “sexist, degrading and wholly unprofessional.” Comcast SportsNet rose to Cristal’s defense, calling the matter “a disappointing and unfortunate situation.” Others expressing outrage included the Association for Women in Sports Media and the Association for Women Journalists-Chicago, which said the apologies were “a necessary first step, [but] they simply do not go far enough.”
Cristal responded to what she called the “cyberbullying attack” with a statement that read in part: “This incident serves as a gross reminder that women continue to fight every day to be treated equally. My female colleagues share my frustration in knowing the sports industry presents us with challenges of equality in an arena that if often filled with misogyny.”
Cristal joined Comcast SportsNet in September 2013 from WPLG-TV, the ABC affiliate in Miami. A native of Tacoma, Washington, she graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Just turned on B&B long enough to hear Bernstein having a tantrum that the Cubs brought in Ryne for today's game. What a miserable prick.

Not sure why you think it's awesome, but I suspect we see entirely different things.
What I see is a sleazy guy with his shirt open in the workplace, who used to talk often about his love of porn, wearing a cross. It's not at all inconsistent that someone could dress like a sleaze bag, talk about his love of porn and show his religion by wearing a cross.
Maybe he is auditioning for his new gig: Slimeballs for Jesus.
