So it's okay to be a misogynistic asshole as long as you are with your friends? Interesting. I caught that as well. Unlike the person in question, I'm not going to act saintly when I know I've said some of the same things.

Has Lada eaten Grimace alive yet? She does not stand for that shit whatsoever. The one Dan went after is awful at her job. Jen is pretty good at her job and gets all kinds of fired up at stuff like this.
The good in all this is that it will knock Dan down a peg or 10. Notice how nice to callers he has been today. He is actually listenable.

I have often wanted to express at my job how difficult it can be working with a bunch of women going through menopause.
But I didn't.

Looks like we finally know the date of Boers last show: CBS has announced the "Late Show With Stephen Colbert" will debut on Sept. 8 from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. “The production office is open, the premiere date is set, and we’re incredibly excited to welcome the creative and comedic genius of Stephen Colbert to CBS late night this fall,” Nina Tassler, Chairman of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement. Colbert will replace the legendary David Letterman, who announced his plans to retire back in April. Letterman will air the last installment of his 32-year-run as host on May 20."Well, I'm thrilled as well," Letterman said while interviewing Colbert after the news had been revealed. "In a situation like this ... they could have just as easily hired another boob like me." Colbert said goodbye to his Comedy Central show, "The Colbert Report," with a surreal finale in December. He officially sealed off his character's immortality, signing off with the already iconic: “From eternity, I’m Stephen Colbert.” The last episode included Colbert's deliberate breaking of character. As host of the "Late Show," the version of Colbert we've come to known on the "Report" will be gone. Although, the format this new hosting gig is still in the process of being fine-tuned. “There will be music on the show [and] he certainly will have guests on the show. Whether he starts with an opening monologue, he’s working on that right now," Tassler said (via TVLine). The goal seems to be "letting him do what he wants to do ... There will be parts that will be traditionally, and there will be things he wants to try differently.” Terry's last day?

I know it's not today. I think he modified his statement. My guess is end of the year.

Because he's old and probably can't wait to leave and go down to Florida full time.

Not to me as I don't listen.
I'm sure the people who say they hate the show but can't stop posting about the show elsewhere will think it does.

I think he's like 64 (maybe older) and he wrote that article late last year (early this year?) whenever it was and insinuated that he'd be retiring when Letterman does.

Eh. Easy trolling. I'd love to sit down and have an actual conversation with Bernstein again. If I were listening to that shit, I would have just turned it off like I usually do.

I can't go on Twitter to read about this but that's a thing. Something is gonna erupt with that Julie DiCaro gal or whatever her name is. Bernstein would maybe be a thing on SiriusXM.

They are both Chicago area guys who have a penchant for saying dumb shit at times. Both are equally adept at being patronizing toward women. At least North recognizes it.
North never put on airs that he was an erudite intellectual who feels the need to prove his bona fides by mentioning he went to Duke. North's 10th grade education may actually have a higher ROI than Bernstein's $100k Duke education.
