Buffone just went off about Matty replacing Mac on the show. OB suggested Buffone was going to get both of them fired. I didn't know of Doug having issues with Mac. It was quite the thing.

Let me tell you something, mister. This guy wants a raise to $500,000? You know how many times I made that kind of money in my career? NEVER. NADA. ZILCH. While I was battling Fuzzy Thurston, the "Macker" was fighting with his friends over whether they were gonna watch the Flinstones or Bugs Bunny.

I think they changed the name when Larry was on months ago as well. They should just call it "no one is listening regardless of who hosts".

WSCR is going to go into the shitter now.....if it already hasn't. Completely unlistenable aside from the weekend baseball shows. I think some listeners held on thinking Mac would return and will now shut it off completely.

I just don't get the Spiegel hate. I love when people say he's huffy. In the last two years, I've heard Mac, at least once per show, go all "HMPF I don't know?!?" But he's the loved one. Don't get it.

Don't get it. I'm good with Spiegs but I do enjoy the kesha/Spiegs rantings. As far as Danny green & gold goes, I really don't see much love at all for him anymore. He gets crushed in the comments section of any article ever written about him in the last year or two. I vaguely remember a place where he was somewhat loved but can't quite recall where that was. |

I can't stand him for numerous reasons.
#1 He doesn't know his shit. If he studies something then he can speak on it but he has gotten simple things wrong that irritate me to no end. How the hell do you not know shark was a WR at ND. How can you say Garrett Cole of the Pirates blew out his arm in spring training this year and has been out for the season.
#2 the complete lack of self awareness when it comes to just about anything non-sports related.
#3 The cover band crap. Rammie of wssp does stand up on the side. He doesn't miss work after every damn show and he doesn't blow himself for his hobby.
#4 He becomes a vagina when challenged or when someone doesn't agree with him or concede an argument to him. The Michael Sam show a few weeks ago with Jim Miller was AWFUL and it was awful solely because of him pissing and moaning to no end about "being humanitarian" Jim and Florio didn't agree with him and he pissed his pants for the rest of the show about it....constantly bringing it back up again and again.
There are moments when he can be tolerable but the rest of the time when he is balancing being a pompous, lack of self awareness asshat with being a vagina put him right at the very top of my shit list for radio hosts/tv hosts/analysts.
