I wonder how Swagger avoids being a member of this thread. Arrested and takes out two champions with his sloppiness.

I know he injured Barrett but a separated shoulder really is kind of fluky and it didn't look like it was a sloppy spot. Sometimes stuff just happens.
But who else did he injure?

I thought Swagger is the one who concussed Dolph last year?

And the number of good woman wrestlers on the main roster is one less. Bummer, she busted her ass getting to WWE & could really wrestle. It sucks they put her with the worst character on the show.
I'm surprised she at least didn't get some sort of strike against her, instead they just said fuck it & fired her. I'm sure she'll pop up somewhere, any wrestling company would be smart to sign her.

Her punishment, keeping her with Santino I suppose?
Sadly she'll probably be jobbing to heel Cameron soon I'm sure. Oh well, glad they thought twice.

Aside from the E being inundated with support for Emma from the Internets, and never minding the fact that Cameron tried to bribe a police officer and all that stuff, I don't suppose the fact that the E is about to embark on an Australian tour had anything to do with reinstating her?
Whatever the case, many people love her. I still don't get it but did love the match her and Paige worked on NXT Arival. Glad she's back and hope they get her the frick away from Santino.

I heard the charges are going away because it was a self checkout missed scan type of a thing so they realized they had no real grounds to fire her.

I heard pretty much the same thing. A few community hours and it will be expunged from her record.

Report: WWE Hall of Famer Released from the Company Due to Budget Cuts Nick Paglino July 19, 2014 According to PWInsider.com, WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat has been released from WWE due to the ongoing budget cuts.
Most recently, Steamboat had been working in NXT as a coach, and had been working in the WWE offices under Triple H in the talent relations department.
This past May, Steamboat had been doing promotional work for WWE in Malaysia, but he will be doing non-WWE DVD interviews and wrestling conventions in the coming months, which is a very likely sign he’s finished with WWE.

The budget cuts have hit the production crew:
Report: WWE Production Crew Exhausted Amid $20 Million Budget Cuts Posted By: Ben Kerin on Jul 16, 2014 Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the WWE production crew are being left exhausted amid the companies drive to cut $20 million out of their budget.
Productions crew were provided with buses from Sunday to Monday on pay-per-view weeks, and on Monday and Tuesday every regular week. The crew would normally finish up around 1am once the event sets had been deconstructed, allowing them time to sleep on their bus and be driven to the next arena where they would start all over constructing the next set. Since the budget cuts have taken away their use of buses the crew now has to drive to the next city which can be a few hours away which is leaving them exhausted on very little sleep.
Some of the crew are feeling the effects of this change in a negative way and the report suggests many of them will be looking elsewhere for work.

This place is starting to turn into a shit show and not a great place to work. It already had little work/life balance to begin with, but this is getting to be a bit much. Cutting Steamboat also sounds like a huge mistake if he truly was an active coach for NXT. They couldnt have been paying him too much, right? I'll wait for Drop In to defend his pal.

Vince There really does seem to be a lot of negative for the company right now: losing tons of money, talent getting paid way less, tour staff working in even worse conditions than before, nervousness about the next network numbers.

Which is exactly why I'd be shocked if they don't back off the Rusev/Lana Russian thing for a bit.

A GUY LIKE ME COULD TURN MY RUSSIAN SYMPATHIZER AND REAL LIFE MISTRESS INTO A MALAYSIAN FLIGHT ATTENDANT AND PILOT GIMMICK. IT'S TOPICAL, AND IT WILL GET THE NEWSPAPERS TALKING. I MEAN, THEY CAN'T STILL BE RUSSIAN, RIGHT? WE NEED TO SELL THIS #WWENETWORK. SEEING WHAT WE HAVE IN THE BUDGET FOR THIS DEAL.

The Dragon may be back.......
- Last week it was reported that WWE had released Ricky Steamboat from his contract. Steamboat had started taking several booking, including conventions and shoot interviews. Now, it seems WWE may have brought him back. Steamboat reached out to the non-WWE promoters and told them that he would no longer be able to appear for them unless they reached out to WWE for approval. That is normal procedure for someone under a WWE deal. [Credit: wrestlezone.com]

Major WWE Employee Cuts Rumored to Take Place This Week Posted by Larry Csonka on 07.28.2014
Doesn’t sound good…
According to WrestleZone, it is rumored that up to as many as 30 WWE office employees could be released by the end of the week. This would be done as the next wave of budget cuts for the company. The report notes that the executive wing is expected to be the focus of these WWE employee cuts. The company has previously released several talents, also made cuts to air and ground travel, and cut things like the Raw post game show.
One source says that the company has needed to trim the fat for a while now, and that this will be less painful to upper management than it may seem. Again, at this time, take this report as a rumor. But it does fall in line with earlier reports that WWE was reportedly to cut upwards of $20 million from their budget.

Losing 2 elections and hundreds of millions of dollars must make Vince a happy camper.

So the rumor is that around 10% of the E's employees will be let go tomorrow. Really makes you question what those Network numbers are going to be. Doesn't look good.
