If a guy that wouldn't hire a Woodridge Ryan is in charge, I'm not expecting much from the new stadium.

They liked both of us. They needed someone to kind of know what they were doing on Day 1 and that wasn't going to be me. I had the "homefield" sporting event background. The other candidate had the music touring background. They would have been happy with either one of us. Was one of the first times when I got a call back where it was hard to disagree. The company also handled the entire interview process better than any company I haev ever worked for or interviewed with. Very professional. Anywho, I think its interesting this guy is getting out of dodge in less than 3 years working for Vince.

Source: Vikings.com
Former WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events, Patrick Talty, has been appointed the General Manager of the upcoming Minnesota Multi-Purpose Stadium. The new building – prematurely dubbed “Vikings Stadium” by locals – is currently under construction, and will be the new home for the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings for the 2016 season.
What makes this news interesting to wrestling fans is the possibility of WWE hosting WrestleMania in Minneapolis for the first time. Because of potentially harsh weather that frequently extends into the spring months, WWE has avoided the midwest for years, with the exception of the enclosed Ford Field in Detroit for WrestleMania 23.
With MetLife Stadium in 2013 and the brand new Levi’s Stadium in 2015, the company is making a habit of attempting attendance records at newly constructed stadiums around the country. The city is shooting for a 2016 grand opening, and with expandable seating in the neighborhood of 73,000 – not to mention that the new GM is a former WWE executive – it makes “Vikings Stadium” a logical choice for WrestleMania in 2017.

He's not gone.
He's just back in his cave.

Day before Thanksgiving? That's brutal.
This one pisses me off, because, despite not being used at all, I always really enjoyed Maddox. He was a different GM, not the same old shit. Another problem was, they never let him wrestle, ever. Aside from his dark match, house show matches, only time he wrestled was getting steamrolled by Ryback or The Shield. It's unfortunate, because he's a talented wrestler.
He's been at PWG shows before as a fan (Night 3 of BOLA 2014), so maybe he can get a gig there?
Wonder if the axe will be coming down on more guys as we head into the holidays? Heath Slater has to be worried.

I've generally been a fan of Slater but he was brutal Monday night. Still better than Ryback though.

Yeah I like Slater too, but if you look at it, the guy hasn't changed anything other than his haircut for nearly 6 years. He's always been the One Man Band BayBay (aside from 3M-Wee). I guess when you're stuck on Superstars & dark matches you don't really have to.
He's entertaining, but Monday was not one of those times.

NoDQ.com > WWE > The reason why Maddox was released by WWE Posted by Aaron Rift on 11/25/2015 at 05:27 PM
As reported earlier, Brad Maddox was released today (Thanksgiving eve) by WWE.
PWInsider.com reports that the company was not happy about the language Maddox used during a dark match promo at last night's Smackdown taping. Maddox using the phrase "cocky pricks" was specifically cited as something that upset people in the company and the decision was made to release him today.

Hahaha I want to see that promo. That's the reason though? That's such a cop out for WWE to fire a person.
"cocky pricks" in a dark match = fired Poking fun at a kid who died of an overdose = used to get heat on an uninterested feud
He called the crowd a bunch of morons when he teamed with Adam Rose last week on Main Event against the Usos.

Oh god dammit....well maybe this is the best for Sandow since he is all that is awesome and vince can't figure it out. Sandow could hook up with fellow stud Dalton Castle now.

Hopefully we'll eventually find out what Sandow did. It just doesn't make sense. He was even a Killer Kowalski guy.

If he did anything it had to be really bad because Vince seemed to just toy with him the last 2 years. Instead of releasing him he just gave him the shitties gimmicks he could think of and then Sandow killed it and was given an even worse gimmick and so on and so on.

Exactly. He killed each gimmick. Rob Naylor, who used to book NXT, said Sandow was the most talented guy around when he was involved. It always came through to fans. Baffling.

Everything they gave Sandow, he got over with it. Team Rhodes Scholars, got over. Mr. Money in the Bank, got over. Imitating old Superstars, got over. Being Miz's stunt double, got SUPER over. Then, nothing. If it wasn't for Hogan & his racist remarks/fuck tape, I would assume the Mega Powers with Axel would've gone on longer, but it stopped & then he was left with nothing.
Santino sucked. He has his wrestling school in Canada. Liked him early in his run, but his gimmick got old. And he was kryptonite for Emma. El Torito was done now that the Colons are back to being Primo & Epico as travel agents. Hornswoggle had been done for years (3MWee was funny though) Riley never recovered after his spat with Cena backstage. Aside from his brief feud with Kevin Owens in NXT, he didn't do anything. Cameron pinned a girl the wrong way. You can't come back from that. Last person from Tough Enough reboot to be hired too, which is sad.
Didn't Barrett give his notice a few months ago? So why would WWE release him? Does this mean they have to pay him severance? If so, dumb move on their part. Could've saved some money.

Fun fact, the Smackdown taping I went to around this time last year, I saw.......
Cameron's last TV match, against Tits Bella. Damien Sandow's last TV singles win (minus Main Event) against Curtis Axel. King Barrett's last semi push winning the King of the Ring.
Haha, way to make the last stop in my town memorable.

That sucks, Joey was a big part of WWE.com. I did see just a brief part of his Facebook Q&A, but really only saw the part where he said he'd hire Joey Ryan and how great his sleazy persona is & it could easily be changed into a PG act, which, I'm not really sure about.
Big loss IMO. Wonder where he goes from here? Lucha? ROH? Hell, kick Josh Mathews to the curb & put Joey on commentary for TNA.
