Sara Lee & Hugo Knox from NXT have been released. Knox had been on house shows for 2 years and never debuted, Sara Lee won Tough Enough this last season & also was on house shows, but never debuted.

Goes to show you they wanted Mandy Rose all along to win that thing. She's actually not bad in the ring, looks hot & is better than quite a few others there, but still.

How in the hell can WWE have a show like Tough Enough when the winners accomplish absolutey nothing?

Had no clue about that when I posted the news. So they released her after she revealed she's pregnant (I know she's since deleted the post)? What dicks.

Meanwhile, Rosa Mendes is still employed (almost 10 years now). She just had a kid too.

Forgot Rosa was batshit crazy. That's how she keeps her job now apparently. We know how she kept her job years ago, as she took up residency in Badstreet USA.

It does baffle me how she's still employed though. What an easy paycheck.

Sara Lee was the underdog & people liked that. Plus Mandy came off like a bimbo bitch, so that didn't help.

I'm amazed that Yeti guy is still around.

Listened to the clip. He's on the first 7 minutes or so of the podcast, so if you want to listen, that's where it is.

He said he's only 35 & wants to wrestle in Mexico, Japan, all over. Also said if people pay him enough, he'd get in the cage. He said WWE wasn't offering him the money he thought he was worth.

Looked up on profightdb, he had only wrestled 3 live shows all year, on a brand that's pretty much lacking talent too. So they weren't going to do jack shit with him.

Thank God. Liked him in NXT, but that's where he should've stayed with it.

Now that Aiden English is free, you let him go back to being the entertainer arrogant dick heel character he was originally. Hopefully they don't give up on him, because he's talented. Have him go back to NXT to revamp his character & hopefully he'll get over. Then maybe call him back up down the line. He's still young, so he has time.

Hope Vince doesn't throw him together with Jack Gallagher, because the same thing will happen within a month.

As noted, WWE announced on Wednesday that Simon Gotch of The Vaudevillains had been released from the company after he apparently requested his release.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that former partner Aiden English is scheduled to receive a push coming out of the breakup of The Vaudevillains.

Regarding Gotch’s departure, there had been speculation on his release ever since the backstage fight with Sin Cara in the summer of 2016. That fight was said to be a “one-sided destruction” by Cara and it was reported at the time that “Gotch’s mouth sometimes gets people mad at him.” The Observer noted this week that Gotch’s personality rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

what? I liked him.

That is surprising.

Sounds like maybe injury related.

Hopefully he lands on his feet.

Apparently he asked for his release and it was granted.

I think it was obvious they had him penciled in to be the big heel in the crusiserweight division, but his injury and Neville's brilliance put the kibosh on that. After that it really was nothing doing for ol' A-Double.

According to PWTorch.com, Aries requested his release from the company, and it was granted, as he was unhappy being pigeonholed as a Cruiserweight, and saw much more potential for himself outside of the role he was given on 205 Live.

The report added that one source noted Aries had a bad attitude backstage in WWE, which might have made the decision easier for WWE officials to grant him his release. It’s likely Aries will end up back on the indie scene following his release, and he could also end up back in Ring of Honor or GFW if he is offered a return deal from either of those companies.

Aries commented shortly following the announcement of his WWE release, Tweeting “It’s a beautiful day."

Definitely a guy that believes his own bullshit.
