I did the three servings of apple vinegar. I'll say this much. I really wasn't hungry most of the day after breakfast.

have a few eggs...go for a jog and you will have a belly full of mayo.
does this stuff make you shit your pants all day? I am not in a profession where I can deal with that nonsense. I can't be corporate kirkwood destroying the company bathroom on the company dime all day.

I am not on this bandwagon. I think being healthy and fit is vitally important for a long and healthy life, but some of this stuff is crazy. Man has been generally fit for centuries without resorting to this stuff. People are fat today because we eat too much sugar, processed foods and bad fats and are not active enough. Eat responsibly, eat almost no added sugars and bad fats, lots of protein and all in good portion sizes....and eat fresh food, not processed food. It really isn't that hard and it's cheaper.
i ate from my garden tonight... a salad of fresh arugula, lettuce, scallions, carrot, radishes, and kale, some sauteed chard with a piece of fish topped with fresh herbs. Somehow I think I might have had a more tasty meal than vinegar, grass and pills.

I much prefer the separate, unique flavors of veggies to a blended mass of one flavor. Especially when the veggies are home grown and infinitely more tasty than commercial produce. I guess I am old fashioned that way.

I think my deal is that I would rather have them earlier in the day so therefore I make it into a shake. I kind of agree with you about just eating good and normal food as opposed to supplementing everything.

I'm only half in on this deal. I love way too much stuff that's awful for you. (Perhaps that's why I need the other stuff to counteract it? ) Either way, I'm happy with my current setup.

This is health and fitness, so here is my tip: grow something to eat and use your own home made fertilizer every two weeks. I use no chemicals on my garden and the taste is fabulous. What is this fertilizer? Cut grass and water. You will thank me later and save a bundle not buying chemical fertilizers. Your garden will be more alive and your food will taste better and you will be ingesting no chemicals. farmwhisperer.com/article/liquid-grass-clipping-fertilizer

Eat responsibly, eat almost no added sugars and bad fats, lots of protein and all in good portion sizes....and eat fresh food, not processed food. It really isn't that hard and it's cheaper. All of this is mostly true. I'd argue the cheaper part. If you're growing it, that could be true. But even if it's more expensive, it's still worth it. I've never stopped being the kid that hates fruits and vegetables. I really try, and I add at least one new healthy thing to my diet every couple months. My feeling is I'll eventually not realize I included a ton of vegetables. I always figured with enough exposure, my pallet would just change and I'd be normal. I have no problem drinking just water. No fillers, nothing. I really don't need much taste in food to enjoy it. But there's something about most vegetables. It's like a torture for me. That's why I'm like Kesha. Just crush it up and let me slam a shake. I've been monitoring portions for roughly fifteen years. In the last 5-7, I refuse to eat everything on my plate at a restaurant. I'll always take the other half home like I live in Del Boca Vista II. I'd much rather eat five times a day. That's part of what's caused issues the last nine months. It's been more of an "eat when you can" system, and it's usually bars or fast food. I'm still doing "Eat this Not That" but that only does so much. Everything processed and created in the last fifty years needs to be avoided. No question. Much like the attempted inclusion of vegetables, I keep trying to slowly eliminate all of it from my diet. I don't think the multi-vitamin and Omega 3 suggestions are at all crazy. Perhaps we find One-a-Days cause cancer in five years. But those seem reasonable options. The stuff KS suggested will be an interesting experiment.

I think you'll be very pleased, Drop In. What I notice the most from the Bragg Vinegar (I trust you got Bragg. Accept no substitute) is an increase in energy, alertness, better sleep and dare I say "attitude". I don't even know if the attitude part is possible or if it's a culmination of all the other effects.
Probably the two biggest things I hear from others around here that take it are energy and better sleep. I was actually unaware of those Amazon reviews previously and stumbled across them when you made this thread. The reviews do not surprise me in the least. The craziest thing is that this stuff costs like $4 a bottle at your local Pick N Save. This is the winningest win/win of all time.

I did go with Bragg and I've definitely noticed a change. The sleep did not occur. I was awake quite a bit last night. Actually knocked out a little power nap to make up for it. I had to pay $7.99 at Capitol Nutrition, which was less than the Amazon price with shipping. It's not in many place around me. How did you find it and who are the other people using it?

Buddy of mine turned me on to it about a year or two ago. Some people at his work were doing it and since that time a few other friends have tried it. Everybody swears by it. Not sure about down there but up here it's right in the vinegar aisle at the grocery stores. Pick n Save and Piggly Wiggly for sure.

That's what I've seen. After a couple jittery nights, I had a really solid night of sleep. I don't think I was up once, which is incredibly rare. If I get the sleep benefit that's been discussed as well, I'm going to become a sales rep for this shit.

KS, We have some of this same Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar "with the mother". It is great for fire ant bug bites. Minimal swelling, no itch, amazing. I am a 60+ guy who gets up a lot during the night...ifyaknowwhatimean. I already take fish oil and vitamin pills in the daily dose my bride gives me. If this will get me more sleep, I will be in to your full deal. Yes I may change my mind. We will see.

Didn't you say you can't get on board with my suggestion of fish oil and multivitamins? Haha. To date, the Bragg stuff has been great. No offense to KS, but I've done a ton of research on it as well. Especially after I got the "cocaine rush" Kesha referenced. The tooth enamel thing is the only negative I've discovered. But if you're swishing this stuff around in your mouth, I'd guess you have more negative effects from the eating glass days.

Here's a chart that lists many of the benefits. There's still many more not listed such as increased energy, better quality of sleep and dare I even say a more positive attitude.

I take those to keep the bride happy. I said "pills'. But not all pills lol.

I've started Bragg twice in my life. The first time was like a year or 2 ago and I think it coincided with another fitness thread we had. I don't recall an instant "cocaine buzz" but I have always noticed the increased energy, sharper mind, better sleep, etc......
I guess what I'm trying to say is that for me the benefits have always been very even keel and steady. So if you did feel some sort of "coke buzz" I can almost assure you that's just some sort of start up thing.
This is not something that's up and down like an energy drink. This is steady and just becomes part of your life. There's not highs and lows. Just a constant healthier feeling for both mind and body.

I think I've finally figured out this tooth enamel thing. If you read reviews and do your homework on this, you'll see that many people put this stuff on their salads and the like. I suppose in that case it's kinda staying in your mouth somewhat throughout your dinner. So that's really the only thing I can think of where that would be a concern.
If you're taking a few swigs of water, downing the Bragg like a shot, and then taking a few more swigs of water, the tooth enamel thing would never be an issue whatsoever.
(How people think this is a great compliment to a salad is well beyond my comprehension)

It doesn't taste that bad but I sure as hell wouldn't put it on a salad.

It doesn't taste that bad but I sure as hell wouldn't put it on a salad. "Fucking rough" is how I would define the taste. But it's tolerable enough for three shots per day. Eventually it will be normal.
