I find it to taste like a shot of lemon juice that may have gone bad. The crazy thing is that this stuff almost never goes bad. I'll bet the expiration date on your bottle is outrageous. (I know that's not what you mean but I just wanted to point that out)

I have my 5 mile run down to a snappy 8 min mile. My 7 mile run today was shit. Last summer I nailed it down to a little over a 8 min mile. Today I was at 9. On Saturday it was much warmer than Tuesday when I went out for 7. I am a warm weather runner so no surpised my time was sliced under an hour. Very pleased with where I'm at cardio wise in March. Now strength training wise I'm shit. My squat sucks, deadlift sucks, bench sucks, everything sucks.

Once I stopped caring about numbers in the gym my workouts got better. I just want the reps to be near failure at around 10. I do not care what the weight is.

For the record, I'm just getting started with you people but I don't want to hit you with everything at once. Please let me know when you're ready to move onto Phase 2.

Is this apple potion supposed to be taken daily like a multi-vitamin?
Looks like we have 3 patients in Drop In, kesha and jackref to observe.
I might take the plunge if I can get reassurance from the 3 people with normal body chemistry the apple potion won't have terminal side effects.

So I have been taking via shot glass and I find that I feel nauseous for about 30 min afterwards. Anyone else experiencing this? May have to switch to mixing with water method to see if that helps.

I shoot it out of an 8 ounce beer tasting glass and then fill that glass up with water immediately and slam that too. I feel fine doing that.

This is from the Bragg site: There is no clear limit as to how much Apple Cider Vinegar an individual can or should ingest. However, one should remember that, as with anything in life, one can have "too much of a good thing". We recommend taking the Bragg Vinegar Health Drink 3 times daily - upon arising, mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

So I have been taking via shot glass and I find that I feel nauseous for about 30 min afterwards. Anyone else experiencing this? May have to switch to mixing with water method to see if that helps. I've never felt nauseous from it and nobody I know has ever mentioned that. Everyone just seems to employ the shot method. Drinking some water, downing the Bragg, then drinking some more water. HOWEVER, that's not the method that Bragg recommends. From their site: To make the drink, stir 1 to 2 tsps Bragg Organic Vinegar in 8 oz. Glass Purified Water and (optional) to taste 1 to 2 tsps Organic Honey, 100% Maple Syrup, Blackstrap Molasses, or 4 drops herb Stevia. Is it necessary to add honey to ACV?It is not imperative to add honey to the Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar cocktail; just use ACV and distilled water instead. We receive many letters from people who tell us about the many health benefits that they attribute to taking the Bragg ACV without adding honey. Honey is recommended because it has proven bioactive properties and contains the vitamins and enzymes necessary for the proper digestion and metabolism. It does add health benefits to the ACV cocktail, but fortunately the ACV has plenty of health uses and benefits without the honey. Is it okay to take the Apple Cider Vinegar by itself? It is recommended that you take the Apple Cider Vinegar diluted with water or juice. Because Apple Cider Vinegar acts like a sponge, drawing toxins from the body tissues, it may cause you discomfort if you choose to digest the vinegar using spoonfuls only.

Not really. Kind of a drinky post. Though I do have some thoughts on Goldenseal Root. But in the meantime, can we talk about Air Purifiers?

Took my first one 36 yrs ago. i imagine the ole standby, goldenseal, still works.

Took my first one 36 yrs ago. i imagine the ole standby, goldenseal, still works. That's indeed how I first found out about goldenseal. haha It's even debatable to this day whether it really even does help with passing a piss test. I think some places even test for it now. But what's really intriguing about it is all the other purported benefits from it. Sort of puts it in a class with Bragg in that sense. However I will say that Bragg is MUCH more tried and true, reviewed and overwhelming accepted for what it claims to be. Goldenseal has a ways to go in that regard. My biggest problem back in the day with it was how it interacted with my body. Maybe I was overdoing it or taking it wrong. Anywho, it's probably something I'll look into more but I like my current regimen and I'm not sure I want to add anything to it.

Yesterday crushed 5 miles in 7:52 a mile pace. Unfortunately, I woke up today with legs stiffer than 2x4s. I'll have to foam roll for 15-20 minutes to get these puppies loose.
Kirkwood went back to the Standard Shake™ for breakfast:
6oz 2% milk 1 banana 4 frozen strawberries (~1/2 cup) 1 scoop chocolate whey protein .5 scoop peanut butter powder
Still debating whether to join KS' Apple Liquid Meth movement.

I've definitely found myself more focused, and my appetite reduced. Both outstanding things. The sleep has been a mixed bag. I've been regularly waking up in the middle of the night for almost ten years. So I might not be the best example. But two nights since I started, I've slept the entire night. Very rare. But a couple nights I've been more restless. I'm giving this at least one month, and I would suggest anyone at least try it out.
