This is a classic derailment tool, btw. "If you can explain your stance in way that satisfies me, it is not valid." That actually is Bernstein to a T right there.

A Jew inferring an African American is stupid. No surprise there. The animosity and insulting comments between the two groups of people go back centuries. How ignorant of Mr. Bernstein to show his racism. Many people have said Bernstein's show is an act. Maybe so. His professed support for equality apparently is an act too. Eventually, one's true nature comes out.
So now we can just wait for the next ignorant statement -- "I'm not a racist. I have black friends".
Somewhere, Mike North is nodding his head in agreement with Bernstein.

Bernstein is in massive asshat mode. I was in the car and just shut it off. Good lord. He's calmed down a bit since the opening.

I actually think Hub being there could be a good thing. I'm not a big Hub guy, but he won't tolerate Bernstein berating everyone for long.

I like Hub as a host. He's very calm and lets callers talk. Even when they're saying something loony he thanks them for their calls and calmy disagrees with his weird laughing thing.
He's surprisingly great at talking Cubs.

He's surprisingly great at talking Cubs. I'll take that over what I heard out of Bernstein this afternoon. However, I used to like when Bernstein would make someone have a point. That was in 2006, and he's ruined the method over the years. I can't stand when the nice hosts let idiots ramble on, only to tell them it was a great call. It wasn't, and it wasted my time. But that's been trumped by Bernstein's inability to even let a word get out before he's scolding someone. It's uncomfortable, punch the button radio.

Terry: Nell Carter. Dead?
Bernstein: Yes. That's "we're gonna need a bigger box!"
Terry: So to speak.

Bernstein: All of a sudden, everyone forgot they live in Illinois again. THIS....IS....NOT....A....SNOWSTORM. You got a December that was like November. Now, it's going to snow. Yet still, I see every station broadcasting from the giant mound of salt. Except this year, the salt tried to escape. Terry: I saw that. I saw an Acura under salt. I thought well, it's Bernstein. I thought, finally someone got that little bitch.

Looks like we finally know the date of Boers last show:
CBS has announced the "Late Show With Stephen Colbert" will debut on Sept. 8 from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City.
“The production office is open, the premiere date is set, and we’re incredibly excited to welcome the creative and comedic genius of Stephen Colbert to CBS late night this fall,” Nina Tassler, Chairman of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement.
Colbert will replace the legendary David Letterman, who announced his plans to retire back in April. Letterman will air the last installment of his 32-year-run as host on May 20.
"Well, I'm thrilled as well," Letterman said while interviewing Colbert after the news had been revealed. "In a situation like this ... they could have just as easily hired another boob like me."
Colbert said goodbye to his Comedy Central show, "The Colbert Report," with a surreal finale in December. He officially sealed off his character's immortality, signing off with the already iconic: “From eternity, I’m Stephen Colbert.”
The last episode included Colbert's deliberate breaking of character. As host of the "Late Show," the version of Colbert we've come to known on the "Report" will be gone. Although, the format this new hosting gig is still in the process of being fine-tuned.
“There will be music on the show [and] he certainly will have guests on the show. Whether he starts with an opening monologue, he’s working on that right now," Tassler said (via TVLine). The goal seems to be "letting him do what he wants to do ... There will be parts that will be traditionally, and there will be things he wants to try differently.”

I tuned in to hear John Fox thoughts, and I got Bernstein yelling at callers questioning Ted Phillips. Click.

Not sure what I just heard. Had flipped over to transition and missed nearly the entire thing but I heard Puffy Pants call Bernstein a "Jackass" about 5 times and then kinda stormed off the set. Not sure if that was real or not but it sounded pissy.

Is he crying about being made fun of for his quarter ton frame? Is he literally crying yet? Is bernstein like WTF shaking his head laughing at him?

Is he crying about being made fun of for his quarter ton frame? Is he crying yet? Is bernstein like WTF shaking his head laughing at him? It had a lot to do with Bernsie's sources and something about possible conflicting reports regarding Brandon Marshall. Then it turned into how Bernstein treats his colleagues. Impossible to give play by play because it went on for quite some time. Bernstein then called him a thin skinned bitch.
